Regaining that which was lost (Pt. 2)

[member="Darth Rapax"]
The blade-storm crashed into the roofing housing the chandelier, breaking off several chunks of the crystal fixture while also removing its fitting, crashing it down to the ground piece by piece with the devastating crash. The Ornament filled approximately a fifth of the room in size and was draped in engraved crystals which lost their invisibility almost instantly as the core of its body was broken, the shards of the fixture would hit the ground and seemingly explode into shrapnel which would threaten to shred those nearby including Xavka and others while the damage done to the chandelier would be immediately apparent. The wraiths around the room would scream and rip apart violently rather than fade into nothing. Becoming horrid and skeletal, rending their form apart with naught but their fingers and claws before they would grip at their bones and break them with supernatural strength until they would become nothing...

the wraiths were gone...

Moments before, the boulder would hurl across the room, crashing into the final of the archways toppling it and stifling the last of the wraiths, a massive one seeming to have been stopped from coming through and dealing incredible damage immediately to the group and those around it. Aurora and Nathan included. Seconds after the chandelier would drop sending shards exploding in every direaction around the room, many heading for mythos, though not as many as those whom were closer to the blast.

Xavka as the fixture above him would come down would be in a bit of a pickle, as he fought the beasts below which had belonged to Ky'leon, it placed him in a precarious situation as tonnes of crystal descended from the sky in pieces rather than a single chunk. Ky'leon would look up in shock for a moment, not having the force power or the quick mind to immediately attempt to slow the debris with telekinesis. And the others being further away. The only person there to help him would be iziz, who would reach out his hands in an attempt to hold back the falling waterfall of shards, not able to stop the majority of those around Xavka which would explode into shrapnel.

Meanwhile Nathan and Aurora would be safe within their bubble, Both erecting a shield to protect them from the ensuing attack, but, they all looked to be tired.

Rapax used the force to make a small shield against any shrapnel that came his way. When the carnage ended he looked around seeing the wraiths rip themselves to nothingness, He sat down to rest for a moment so everyone can regroup there power and heal any injuries they may have. There was still more trials ahead and he needed everything and everyone here for them if not to use them as meat shields until he got what he needed.

Mythos fell fully into the force, ignoring exhaustion and lack of vision fueling himself with nothing else but his unbridled rage and anger built up by the ageless wars and conflicts he had endured. The massive strain of the force he used to hurl the titanic boulder left him vulnerable to the many shards of the chandelier that would come swiping his way yet he did not flinch...

The seconds he had before the chandelier came down was more than enough time for him to adjust. Grunting in the effort he shifted his stance to face the shards instead of ducking or dodging away placing both his extended palms in front of him dropping the saber letting it hit the ground with an audible clank. He focused, falling fully into the energy of the dark side and sending waves of energetic pulses from his hands in front of him using what was left of his exhausted stamina to stop the shards in their place mid air... then letting them drop along with his body gasping for air and the sound of falling crystals singing in his ears...

He feel to one knee, his body aching with dizziness and exhaustion, bleeding from multiple orifices and in an immeasurable amount of pain. His hand reached for his saber in what felt like an eternity before his fingers wrapped around the hilt of the saber.... burnt bone fingers that send waves of pain as they made contact with the songsteel hilt.... the pain gave him strength, he let his pain fuel him...

He arose from the ground, screaming like a wild animal as such was the gift of absolute power. His hatred for this place and for the sith lord who built it reached an impasse. Mythos unleashed a Force Scream that he had no control over for the first time ever after his knighthood, the powerful wave took a name in the distorted and twisted syllables that shook the ground and broke the stone beneath his feet. "SADOW!"

The effect of the Sith mastere's anger, anguish and rage would be universal. His pain and suffering in the force would begin to create a tear in the very fabric which was the universes life force. Ripples through the force here would be able to be felt throughout the galaxy on some level by those whom were sensitive to the force, they would know not the source of the blast or the fracture, but only a direction of where it came from, and the fleeting sensation of the person who felt it... though the effects of the blast far away were minimal, those who witnessed the blast up close would have a far more horrifying time. The mental facet of the attack through the scream was what all of them would hear first, ripping into each person's mind with such horrifying power that it would bring even those of equal stature to their knees as they would taste but a moment of Mytho's hyper sensitive suffering. The weight of the assault was enough to rip the concentration from others, even aurora and shatter her barrier of force drain.

The second part was the explosion which followed moments afterwards, creating a crater where Mythos stood and ripping the enchanted stone from the ground, the shards of the chandeleir obliterated into pieces the size of snow-flakes crumbling until they were little more than sand due the horrific force and vibrations which exhumed from Mytho's body. The force which exploded outwards could not be escaped by those in the room, as in a flash it was over, and nothing but devastation was left in its wake. Each of the sith in the room would be strewn across the floor and the walls as the blast would have inevitable thrown them like rag dolls, breaking bones and giving concussions to all those involved...

But also acting as a beacon for their rescue.

----------- 3 weeks later --------------
One by one, the members of the excavation team would come out of their injured states, the advancements of medical technology never ceasing to amaze, each of them were alive and had recovered from fractures and other injuries which had almost been life threatening. Iziz, being the last to fully recover due to his fragile frame and the inescapable attack had been through surgery approximately eight times to re-align bones and rod them with steel in order for them to recover properly with bacta. it was only the carbon in his spine already which saved him from perhaps permanent damage. But, recovered now, the Jawa finally put his gear back on, just in time to see a message sent by masters from on high about the excavation, wanting to know urgently when it will begin again. It seemed that they had attempted to continue the raid of the tomb for some time, but strange explosions of some kind had killed a number of acolytes who were brave enough to enter as well as a dozen or so workers attempting to survey the area.

strange explosions....

Iziz moved to look for the others, hoping to get what remained of the team back together.

Rapax woke up he found his wounds healed and himself refreshed....he hopped off the bed and started putting his gear back on he was anxious to get back into the tomb...he moved his hand around that was fracture from before now that it was healed once more..he went to find the others to see if they wish to continue the journey...they where getting closer he would hate to see them abandon now when the blade is so close to his grasp...if he had to he will drag a handful of acolytes to be meat shields until he got what he wanted...but he hoped that wasn't the case the group he found already where quite the capable bunch to do what needed to be done.

The collapse was immediate for Mythos, when he woke up it was two full standard weeks and he was in a bacta tank. The axe woke him up, pulsating next to the tank all this time, tormenting his dreams with warfare of millennials past. The heart monitor next to the tank rushed by faster and faster before his eyes opened and his right hand stretched to the right inside the tank.

The axe soared as if it had a mind of it's own, hilt first into the crystal sending shattered glass and liquid bacta flying off as it made it's way into Mythos' hand. His strength slowly came back, flashes and images of the previous battle shocked his mind as the liquid bacta rolled off him like a soothing storm and his breath slowly came back with each passing moment. Composing himself and grabbing his gear, he walked off in the direction of the temple once again.

Mythos ordered a small search party during the morning of those days to recover the remains of the bounty of golds and treasures directly heading back to Atrisian coffers. He knew he might be infringing on planetary laws, but when row after row of gold and jewels as well as figurines and archaeological items of all sorts.

Mythos oversaw the extraction personally and he left no stone upturned. Easily Mythos put the Atrisian economy back into play with the haul in as well as something extra for himself. In the afternoons he enjoyed smokes and a dine to recover his strengths. Some nights he could hear the song of the Diathim from high quarters and decided to pay her a visit in the coming nights. She had recovered as well and Mythos spent time speaking to her, decided to keep her as his companion.

After he had heard of the recovery of [member="Iziz"] he rushed over to meet with the comrade ready for the next phase of their adventure.
