Relocation Protocols (The Sith Empire)

In Orbit, Agamar

It had been a lengthy journey from Confederate space. General Aut-X had grown dissatisfied with the path of the Confederacy in recent months, largely keeping himself secluded in his foundries for a reason unknown to the Confederate government. That reason, however, eventually became apparent. Without warning, he and a sizeable fleet of thirty vessels manned by his droids and a sizeable group of Geonosian and Neimoidian scientists loyal to him departed from Confederate space without even a single word to their former leaders, the Super Tactical Droid's mind already made up.

They had travelled along the Mara Corridor to their target, the world where the General's participation in the Clone Wars of old came to a sudden end, and a new path opened up to him. Agamar. It would become a new base of operations for General Aut-X and his forces, for goals he largely kept to himself. However, he was no fool. He knew he'd need new allies. When his fleet had arrived at Agamar, he had transmitted the intent of his arrival to the nearby Sith Empire. An invitation for talks that could prove mutually beneficial to both parties.

Several days after his arrival, his forces had already been hard at work establishing a temporary headquarters while a vast amount of construction work began on the General's new foundries using materials and resources absconded from the stockpiles of Geonosis. Aboard his flagship in orbit amongst his fleet, the Lucrehulk-class Battleship "Lok Durd", General Aut-X was keeping himself busy coordinating the constructing efforts below while he awaited the arrival of whatever diplomatic party the Sith Empire deemed appropriate to meet with him.

The Void Irregular Fleet had as usual responded to the mysterious fleet situation. A large number of Sith warships were directed towards the location. They were led, ironically enough, by the Ablution, whose refit had been nearly complete and which was sporting five LRBBeam super-heavy beam cannons. Every single ship in the Void Irregular Fleet was here, even the reserve vessels - the movement of a massive CIS fleet was something that the Sith could not afford to risk given their undetermined intentions, particularly regarding the firepower that a fleet the size of what had been reported could unleash on Imperial border worlds.

Once within visual range of the fleet, the Void ships held position, their weapons ready to fire and fighters ready to launch as needed. Vanessa sent a hail to the flagship - it looked to be an old Lucrehulk battleship from the Clone Wars.

"This is Vanessa Vantai, Sith Lord and commander of the Void Irregular Fleet. I have received your transmissions requesting the opening of diplomatic channels and desire to meet at a neutral location on the planet below in order to help secure your force's relationship with the Sith Empire, for our mutual benefit." She smiled. "What location would you deem to be suitable?"

Mulokhai Zarandur

Location: Sith Imperial Fleet, Hangar
This was perhaps the worst part of the fact that the Sith Empire's craft had no hyper drives, or the ability to land normally. The waiting. The incessant waiting to climb into a cockpit and simply get on with it. Beyond that, they weren't even sure if this was to be a real engagement, if one at all. Reports claimed upwards of two dozen Confederate ships in the Mirgoshir System, but they could've just been passing through. Whatever the case, they were getting cut off at Agamar.

Mulokhai stared down at a holoprojector in his hand, displaying relevant data about immediate contacts in the Fleet's vicinity and anything else that might be relevant. He had at least enough sway to get that, but it wouldn't count for much. As it seemed, it was turning out whoever this was, they were more interested in diplomacy. It irked him. He wasn't itching for combat or developing a bloodthirst, but his talents were wasted sitting in a hangar or acting as a glorified shuttle escort.

Krayt Squadron gossiped amongst themselves at the side, as he continued to lean against the railing of the walkway, near the rails that held their TIEs. He glanced over to the small counter nearby, staring towards the helmet meant to match the rest of the flight suit he was wearing. He'd hoped he would be able to make use of it. At the very least, maybe they'd let him fly around, patrol, make a showing of Sith Imperial Force.

They could give him that much, couldn't they?

"General, another fleet has just arrived. The Sith Empire have responded to our message.", the lone Neimoidian communications officer on the bridge said, albeit nervously. Aut-X arose from his command throne, strolling over to the bridge viewport to gaze out at the fleet before him for a brief while, hands clasped behind his back, before he eventually spoke. "Excellent. I will address them directly myself. Raise holographic communications immediately."

The General swiftly turned to face the bridge holo-communicator, his holographic form swiftly appearing on the bridge of the Ablution once communications had been established. "My greetings to you, Sith. I calculated that you would arrive in short order. I bid you welcome to Agamar. I have a unique proposition I wish to bring before the Sith Empire, one that would benefit us both, if you'd care to meet me face to face aboard my flagship.", Aut-X said in the politest tone his vocabulator was capable of. Diplomacy was not his forte, but he would do his best regardless.

Vanessa listened intently, watching and waiting to see if anything out of the ordinary seemed to come up. The droid design she recognized - a Super Tactical Droid, considered to be the apex automated thinkers of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Whether this was an original, or a modern version, She was unsure - the ships certainly appeared to be of a vintage dating back the many years to the Clone Wars themselves.

“A proposition is always beneficial.” She answered. “That said, I would like to point out that given the tactical position I would put myself in by placing myself, and only myself, aboard your flagship with an innumerable amount of droids on board, an act of duplicity could potentially see me dead and my fleet scattered into disarray were a series of events beneficial to you to occur. As such, I would like to make a recommendation - that being we meet on the planet below. Neutral ground, as it may, where neither of us have the advantage. Such an overture would be a positive action in our attempts to negotiate.”

It was hard trying to think like a cold and logical machine, but she felt such a response would hopefully... receive a positive response in return.

Aut-X remained silent briefly, calculating his response before eventually nodding. "I accept your logic. A rendezvous on the surface below, then. You will find the hull of a crashed Separatist Supply Ship at these coordinates. A relic of my time. We shall meet within.", the General said politely before transmitting said coordinates and ending the transmission, turning to depart from his Lucrehulk's bridge, heading towards one of the massive hangar bays his choice of ship was renowned for.

The General departed his flagship aboard his personal Sheathipede-class Shuttle, accompanied by a sizeable retinue of IG-100 Magnaguards and BX-Series Droid Commandos and escorted by a squadron of HMP Droid Gunships and Vulture Droids, swiftly making their way to the designated rendezvous point, touching down just beside the massive hull of the Supply Ship. The retinue slowly made their way inside, marching past the long deactivated remains of various Battle Droids. Aut-X quietly examined his surroundings, a mechanical sigh escaping his vocabulator. He'd never gotten used to the fact his war was over, even now. Eventually, the group arrived at the bridge of the old vessel, Aut-X taking a seat upon the command throne within, gazing out at the vast wasteland ahead of him through the viewport.

Vanessa's shuttle went down to the planet's surface, to the wreck of the world in question. The Gypsy-class shuttle was escorted by a squadron of Daala-class Starfighters, brand new off the assembly line, and had several Phase Zero Dark Troopers in it - Imperial stormtrooper veterans maimed horribly in battle, who were given the opportunity to rebuild their bodies as cyborgs in the fight against the Galactic Alliance and the Silver Jedi Order.

Upon landing at the ruins of the ship, Vanessa and her entourage, ARC caster armed as they were to engage droids. Entering the command deck, they found only dead droids for the most part before coming across the super tactical droid and its own guard of droids. Vanessa smiled as she looked at the worn out veteran of the Clone Wars. "You know, I haven't run into one of your kind in a long, long time."
