Remembrance of Times Past

Ra chuckled as Stardust spoke and shook her head.

"Last time we saw each other, was when you gifted me with my sabers. He started crying while I practicing with them and you went to take care of him. I never actually met the little boy. If anything happens though, my word is still good and always will be. I promise!"

Her fork was in one hand, and she reached across the table to emphasize her words and laid a hand on her friend's arm, looking at her the whole time.

"Or it may not have changed anything!"

Speaking with the smile, Ra finished off the last of her food as set her fork down.

"Thank you for giving me some ideas, Stardust. You're the greatest thing to happen in my life."

@Ra'a'mah

She chuckled and nodded memory refreshed

truely ra I don't know if I can find anyone with a word so trusting as yours it's refreshing

She said and looked away still smiling, she felt her friends arm and looked over again before she got a bright smile and looked down tryimg ti hold back tears before she nodded

thabk you ra, I do hope you find whatever it is...abs then return here so you can tell me!

Pushing her plate away and finishing off her drink, Ra stood up and walked around the table to give Stardust a hug.

"No matter what happens, I'm still your friend and soon to be sister.
I'll let you know what I learn."

Saying good bye, Ra left the restaurant and returned to her ship. Taking off and setting her destination for home, Ra returned to Coruscant and the orphanage she grew up in.

The Ra that left Coruscant a few days later was even more confused that the one that had arrived. What she had thought of as her home since she was almost an infant hadn't been. It had been her home for a very short period of time and it was just before she had been found by her captain. At least she knew that part of her life to have been real.

The little information the orphanage had about Ra was she was found basically on their doorstep in what appeared to be something like a coma. Her age they guessed to be mid to late teenage years and they took her in. They cared for her, took care of all her needs while she slept through it all.

The sounds of the orphanage must have entered her subconscious and effected her memory making her think this was where she had grown up. They showed her their records and what she had been found with. Her clothes, cloak, broken saber hilt and a stuffed animal cat. In her sleep, she would mutter what to them sounded like a name...Ra'a'mah Numare. So that is what they named her.

When she woke up from whatever ailed her, Ra had simply grabbed her cloak, saber and left the orphanage behind. They noticed the lost look in her eyes, as if they were empty of emotion as she left. Almost like she had no mind left. That was the last they saw of her until about two years ago when she returned with the girl child they now took care of.

They didn't know where she had come from or where she had gone...

Stardust had agreed Ra should start at the orphanage, but that hadn't really provided any more answers or clues about her past. Her friend had also said to go to Dagobah. Upon leaving the orphanage again, Ra said good bye to the little girl Xian she had brought there. She almost felt sorry for the child since she wasn't getting adopted either. Then she remembered she hadn't actually grown up there...

Returning to her ship after picking up a few supplies for her trip, Ra gained clearance and took off. She set her navicomputer to go to Dagobah and went to quarters to think about things.

She wondered what had happened to that stuffed animal and why it was so important. Was her name really what she thought it was? Eventually she fell asleep, her mind full of questions that she couldn't answer yet. Her alarm went off announcing her arrival at Dagobah and it jolted her out of her slumber.

Brining her ship out of hyperspace, Ra looked down on the planet below her. No real sign of civilization and no clear areas to land. Deciding to trust in her friend and the Force, she followed her instinct on landing her ship safely and intact. Bringing it down slowly, she found a good location and landed.
