DIRECTOR
TRADE FEDERATION

Aerarii Tithe Aerarii Tithe | Aiko Hayata Aiko Hayata

No matter the nation, the ideology, the economy or relationship intertwining the two, the private and public sectors would inevitable skid the fine line of where interests aligned. As its primary benefactor since its inception, the Trade Federation benefited a great deal from the New Imperial Order's constant expansion...as much as there were particular snags along the way. Such was the matter of business, it hardly ever offended Tambor, really. There was always angle to milk profits from crises.

However, matters were due to get more complex very soon. He recieved a private communique from Imperial High Command of Imperator Fel's immediate plans. The closure of the New Imperial Order's borders in an attempt to stave the influence of the Brotherhood of the Maw from their space. And in Gat's observation, lend the bulk of the warfighting responsibility in this brewing Second Hyperspace War unto the Galactic Alliance which, through a violent Third Imperial Civil War- had been seen far less damages than the Empire had. It was an apt strategic decision by Fel- even if it required the Trade Federation adapting to a set of changing circumstances.

<"WERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR- yes, the next few days are going to get very interesting, certainly so for you, Chancellor. Fel is a careful man, much more so than his predessor who- as much as I did like the man, Tavlar was a bit of a...gunslinger with his diplomacy...Fel is seemingly, much more methodical. We will see in the coming days the alliances constructed between Adhira Chandra and Irveric Tavlar, crumble. This isn't...a bad thing persay, as much as it did benefit the Federation to have uncollared trade between Bastion and Coruscant...we will soon have to adapt to these circumstances. Thus, it is time to strengthen our individual subsidiaries in Imperial and Alliance space respectively.">
Tambor stated as he hovered toward the viewport of the Lucrehulk, gazing over the Imperial war machine raking its toll on the Imperial remnants.

<"Kol Huro is one of many components to this. Just as Miss Hayata's ambitions in Atrisia will be. If our markets are to be seperated and in competition, it is best we simply...own them both."> Tambor commented.

<"As we both know, Mister Tithe, power is fleeting and you won't be Chancellor forever, it is best to secure your assets while you can once your days in mainstream politics come to wane.">

IMPERIAL OUTPOST #986-A
WISTRIL
Within the confines of the command center, the Lord Executor swiftly acquainted herself with the living structure of the outpost, meeting each soldier or technician assigned to control and monitor the situation here; their number considerably elevated given the unexpected arrival of so many refugees. Wistril was largely ignored, unlike its big sister, and it showed in just how narrow the scope of development had been in its sweep across the forested planet. New Imperial presence here was undeniable, but it wasn't nearly as overt as it was on the other worlds within their grasp. As her visored eyes flicked across the projection of the planet suspended in the center of the room, she took note of that almost immediately. There were only six outposts on this planet, scattered across its hemispheres. Such a small hand of influence, even on a modestly small world, did not bode well.

"-as for your question prior, Lord Executor-" the cyborg shifted her attention back to the Lieutenant Commander she had all but tuned out now that his rambling was finished, "-we've had a few minor incidences within the ranks of citizens, but nothing worthy of High Command's time, I assure you." He turned almost sheepish with this revelation, unnerved only further by the fact her expression was sealed beneath a helmet. He couldn't read her. The uncanny nature of her very existence put him on edge, as it did most. "Not worth High Command's time?" She questioned him curtly, the digitized drone of her voice growing ever more agitated, "Need I remind you what happened? Why these people are here, to begin with?" The commander shifted in his stance, seeming to shrink on himself, "N-no, of course not. That's not what I was implying." It was a derisive snort that turned the Lord Executor away from him and saw her stroll forth to pause at the edges of the command table. "Get me those reports, now."

The Director of Progress entered the room then, lingering just over the threshold to remain on the periphery as he seemed too apt to do. Perhaps it was one of many reasons Strasza found herself wary of the man- he dwelled in the corner of her sight, just out of reach; mannerisms taught to infiltrators. Regardless of her suspicion, she trusted him as those before had.

"Lord Executor, we've got a list of people as you requested, we're still pulling more data from users with some enhanced features to hide their addresses."

"Good," she rasped harshly, "sort them out. Twist the answers out of them if you must, there will be no question of loyalty. Find those suitable for reform and those who are nothing but risks. Load those who require reform on the transport and round up the treacherous- I'll see to them personally." Her orders came ushered across cold steel, their tone resonating the same. There was no room for doubt, not while she was overseeing the task. The citizens requiring reform would be sent to the lovely depths of Caarlyle Rausgeber Caarlyle Rausgeber 's cozy world and exposed to the depths of his depravity until they had changed their ways. The seditious would not be afforded such luxury. Her head snapped sharply to the outpost commander who rushed over with a datapad clutched against his chest. Armored hands seized it, and there after she started her review of the information presented in silence.

"And Director," the cyborg paused her perusal, twisting her head over her shoulder to fix her red-lit visor on his own, "should there be any protest to your selections, crush it."

Beside her, the Lieutenant Commander gulped.

THE 7TH FLEET | DISSIDENT AGGRESSOR
There was something undeniably beautiful about the carpet bombing. The flickering fires compounding into a melodious choir of devastation so distantly from the bridge. They were like festival sparklers or celebratory fireworks, heralding the extinguishing of a den of snakes burrowed in so deep it threatened the very Empire with its venom. The frozen earth heaved, the planet shuddering in cries for mercy, as shockwaves shattered the mountains and brought the glaciers to heel. Avalanches swept ahead of the waves of baptizing fire, burying what ruined civilization remained just before melting it to nothing but slush.

The land was ruined by means of holocaust, left to smolder and burn in crackling silence that stretched into the smoking, red-stained sky. One hemisphere destroyed, the shuddering fleet roved to the next in its systematic annihilation. Undead were reduced to naught but splattered, smoking stains upon the red touched snow, their remnants strewn about the wastes callously. A world of progress and might, a testament to the will of man, slowly overturned to expose its true intention after so many years; a world of the damned.

A lichyard.

Shells rained down endlessly, churning the snowfall and shattering the clouds who reigned as kings in their stormy spans.

It was a symbol bourne from the foulest womb, once it gleamed of strength and discipline, and now it smoldered with nothing but retribution.

"So did the Carlaci Corps." he said, eyes narrowing. Morgana Sinclair Morgana Sinclair may be providing cover today but tomorrow...

...tomorrow she might be the one blow it to bits.

"Do try to get posted with her unit when possible. Surely your exploits against the bRyN'aDuL should have garnered you enough influence for that." he began, formulating a plan as he went on, "Then test her. Provoke her. If I am to make a baseline assumption, I'd reckon she would be easier to figure out than Tal's offspring. I will deal with that one."

"As for a Youth Academy on Galidraan Three..." a chit-eating smirk began to form on his face, "... you're starting to think a lot like a COMPNOR agent. Don't let that jejune, brash street urchin 'credo' stop you - it is a decent idea."

Turning heel as he set the domino mask back on his face, Konrad finally said in farewell, "Perhaps there is still hope for you to be more than a grifter in a stormtrooper's armor, Aemilio."

Despite their major effort to draw as much as attention as possible onto themselves, the ferocity of attacks on the other advancing groups did not seem to decrease. Aurelian tactical display was showing all the allied troops and few identified and marked enemy troops which passed through the vizors of his Legionnaires.

The Zakuulan was engaged in a fight with two Sith warriors whos exposure to alchemy apparently turned them mad. They were wielding enchanted blades and by the looks of it, if you dare to look closely enough, they were relatives, but now are just horribly distorted and scarred figures, madness dulling their eyes. Sigismund blade comes up to block the dual attack, the meeting swords ringing in the ears and would meet another dozen times in the next second before the High Imperator cut the lowlife Sith open from belly to throat, the other one, staring and then screaming in madness receiving a shot into the forehead from one of the Legionnaires the moment he wanted to charge to avenge his companion. Aurelian didn´t care, there was no kill stealing, no honor, war was simple. Kill or be killed.

"We advance onto the ruins! Close the ranks. For Vandemar!"

The Legionnaires responded and confirmed by voicing: "For the High Imperator!"

And quickly the Vandemarian troops started moving again, their stalwart leader a beacon at the front, the blade in one, the Lancer in the other hand. Sithspawn and Vongcreatures were swarming their golden ranks, the smell of plasma, cordite, burned flesh, blood and worse was in the air as the troops made their way forward. Their advance was merciless and cold, confident in their armor and weapons, zealous in their belief to be right and heroic due to their leader inspiring them first hand, the troops marched forward, spreading more death and fire, spreading more enlightenment and order.

A roar. In the chaos of battle a loud, deep roar would usually not be heard. Explosions, blades and more unpleasant noises usually overshadowing individuality. But the roar was very loud and very altered. Aurelian's senses directly turned to the direction and origin of the noise and with less than a blink he marked the direction of the beast on the battle HUD for his retinue.

The ground was shaking as a war behemoth stamped down vegetation the size of a house. A beast from the abyss of Sith magic, altered even further by less skilled beings with armor-plates sewed into the skin, adrenal and stim canisters pumping it full of artificial but effective rage. It was roaring again as it set its burning, red eyes on the group of golden soldiers in the jungle.

Beneath his helmet the High Imperator raised the edged of his mouth to a smirk.

ACQUISITION: PART IV // KOL HURO

Aiko Hayata Aiko Hayata | Gat Tambor Gat Tambor

The Chancellor watched as the New Imperial Order methodically cleansed the factory worlds of Kol Huro of any Sith holdouts. Their aptly named Iron Ring campaign to pacify the former Sith Empire had left them with a force highly effective at seeking out and removing pockets of enemy resistance. The only thing suffering greater than the Sith was the Trade Federation's opportunity cost. The large credit counter above the forward viewport continued to tick over for every minute the factories were not back up to full production. Their account managers in the Industropolis on Aargau would already be invoking cleverly hidden clauses to absolve the conglomerate of any responsibility or loss. Regardless, those credits would need to be made elsewhere.

“Yes, Fel is most alacritous,” he replied to Gat. The Sovereign Imperators hasty flight from Coruscant in the aftermath of the Brotherhood attack had not gone unnoticed. The ‘Iron Comlink’ as it was called, which sat on the Chancellor’s desk and provided a direct line should the need arise for leaders of the two nations to discuss, had been silent. Tithe had hoped for an opportunity to meet with Fel to negotiate a new agreement, but it seemed that the Alliance and NIO had irreconcilably moved past that point.

“My, the trade disruptions alone…” he mused, unable to bring himself to say further. Regardless of geopolitics, the Trade Federation coffers would continue to fill, more so than few could imagine. But Tithe could. And he could also imagine how much faster they would fill should the borders remained open. He composed himself.

“Yes, these so called ‘scar worlds’ to the galactic east may prove fortuitous,” he suggested. “With the Bryn'adûl gone, freedom of navigation will return. We may be able to move goods under the guise of, ah, reconstruction.” It would be a substantially longer journey, but they could use it as an excuse to ramp up freight prices.

“But I concur, we will need to maintain a presence in both domains. And while I can think of no better Foreman for Kol Huro, I could you use vote in the Senate.” He turned to the Aiko. “Unless Madame Hayata would care to serve in your stead?”

Time of death….Time of death….Time of death….Time of death….

Time of death….1853

1853

There were no other words that haunted him as much as those four words married to a number forever etched into every corner of his mind. Those around him lived in a state of balance chaos...or so he felt. This camp tucked away within Wistril was a place he forced himself to live in, a form of absolution to atone for his failure...

If only I were not so timid...

Cold sweat poured down the organic areas left behind from the experiment that gave him life. This body he lived in, felt like a prison much like the four walls of his tent. He had dismissed his staff, he left his wife without a word, and tore apart the only pieces of stability he had left in the world over guilt. No longer finding pride in the things he felt confident in...

If only I were louder...

Julian pulled himself up in bed, brushing long strands of raven shoulder-length hair away from his face. No one would recognize him now if they saw the once prestigious doctor from Carlac. He looked unlike himself, if it weren’t for this mechanical body he lived in, he would have looked more like a ghost than anything. Perhaps he was becoming the way he felt...like a ghost

If only I had followed up…

“Lody…” he grumbled in the darkness, waving a dimly lit hand in the small space of his office where his sleeping cot had been set up in. “Lody...jack me in...put me ta sleep…” his voice sounded haggard, clawing at the edge of his throat by mere fingers tips.

“Docter Grey, it has been 15 days since your last sleeping cycle. Would you like to proceed with hyper stasis?”

Bouncing black strand swished freely beside his skull, agreeing to yet another cycle of medically induced sleep. It was all he could do for himself, it was all he could do for the nightmares that replayed every time he attempted sleep. That day should have been routine, that procedure should have been his saving throw. Something that should have saved a life. That was what he was made for, to save people. He didn’t save anyone that day...he couldn’t even himself...nor his dignity...he couldn’t save anything.

If only I were reckless…

“Doctor Grey, commencing hyper stasis in 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 …”

If…..only….

[sound]

A flicker in the sky caught his attention, stopping him in his tracks for a brief moment as the two troopers ushered him towards the front of the make-shift medical bay. That's when he saw it. Above the moon-like planet, he had called home since his resurrection was bombed before their eyes in a brilliant cleansing of fire.

If he had a stomach that worked normally he would have gotten sick over the sheer display of power, yet he simply held onto that feeling of emptiness, of being hollow as he watched the bombs overhead. The doctor quickly turned away, biting his lip as he felt the same tug of emotions create heaviness around his eyes. He wanted to cry, but didn't....perhaps it was the numbness anchoring him down. Yet nothing could have stopped the onslaught of memories that came with each ripple in the sky. Somewhere up there up, his lab was destroyed, the medbay he first woke up in was gone, the apartment, the common room...the noodle shop...everything...gone

“Move.”

Heavy vocals snapped his focus, finding himself chasing after a breath. All he could do was turn away from the sky to give a compliant nod towards the trooper. “Of course..” he whispered. This was not Julian Qar, the six-foot-something New Imperial lieutenant who preferred knife fights over a blaster. The fearless doctor who would do anything to save a life...this man, standing hunched over, lights dimmed, wearing grey robes and a mess of unkempt raven hair was no one. This was just a body that carried his image, his soul was hidden somewhere in the galaxy - lost. That was all he could think of..being lost, until that moment when a crimson light caught his focus.

“No…” He muttered to himself, swallowing hard when he saw the monitor installed within his forearm boot up with the steady cadence of a heartbeat he had longed to see for so long. “No...this has ta be a joke…” he repeated, stepping forward as he searched for the source that made his heart slammed like fire within its mock ribs.

Aemilio shrugged.

Konrad was right about the Carlaci Corps, but he hadn't met one. Or even encountered them before, never fought alongside them. They were... The forces of a Warlord. They ultimately meant very little to him, and their ties to an autonomous entity already made them untrustworthy.

Though the way he felt wasn't a surprise to anyone, well, to the select few that knew the true aspirations that were buried in his skull.

"You give the Warlords ilk too much credit," he smirked. Reaching a hand up to brush through his curled hair, tossing a look over his shoulder to see that there were a handful of waiting NCOs. Whatever military intel wanted - Konrad's new people - they'd see to it, as he finished security sweeps with his own men.

"COMPNOR Agent? That's why I saw combat before you Harrsk, still don't know basic strategies." A grin forming as he waved over his Sergeants. "Divide and conquer. Luckily for us, these dimwitted Warlords already hate each other," he said before he turned away, raising a single hand in departure before he turned back to his men.

A copy of the data would be forwarded to the Lord Executor, keeping a copy of his own as well.

"Good," she rasped harshly, "sort them out. Twist the answers out of them if you must, there will be no question of loyalty. Find those suitable for reform and those who are nothing but risks. "And Director,"
the cyborg paused her perusal, twisting her head over her shoulder to fix her red-lit visor on his own, "should there be any protest to your selections, crush it."

He was already ahead of her, but it was welcoming to know exactly they were on the same wavelength on how this assignment should be conducted. A vindictive nature would bring them to extreme measures without any remorse. She once was a pawn to the former Baron of Carlac, only to betray her loyalty and those misplaced on Wistril. To each their own personal reasons of what they sought to fulfill the vengeance fire within them; only that Djorn's fire was endless, a pain that would remain.

Didn't matter how many he would torture with these interrogations, it would be a temporary solution to cope with. Inflict his sorrows on to others without realizing he was going deeper and deeper into hell.

"I'm already ahead of you," was his reply to the Lord Executor, turning on heel to leave the command center with the cyborg and the Lieutenant Commander alone.

"Adam," opening a comm channel with his subordinate, "go through the list and start those with a family, and separate whatever adolescents from their parents. Those children will be relocated in Iron Haven."

Didn't matter if he found those innocent, he was committed to that order and would not back down from it.

"Next start with individuals that are single, young adults and adults," those that were alone and had nothing to lose were often prime insurgents that would follow Halketh's shadow without hesitation.

"After that, rally up those that have enhanced security on their address. Those three groups are our prime targets, we'll weed out the rest once we've narrowed it down."

"And make sure the children aboard our shuttles, I don't want them mixed up with Strasza's prisoners."

"Copy, Snake. I'll get a move on with that."

"I'll be joining with the interrogations, and give a memo if anyone that protests or retaliates, to make sure you silence them...permanently. Give them a fright."

The Lord Executor completed her assessment of the reports clutched in hand and turned her focus onto the silenced Lieutenant Commander standing anxiously by her side. "While these instances are nothing out of the ordinary for such large groups of displaced peoples," she started with an almost amicable tone creeping through her words, "you will forward your internal reports up through your chain of command from now on, is that understood?" The man nodded hastily, and she could see his heart's BPM steadily lower once more, "Yes, of course, it will be done, ma'am." A casual extension of her arm saw his datapad returned, her copies of the reports already drafted and saved to her personal uplink, where she would eventually make copies for the archive she was ambitiously working to build. "For now, however, deploy your security teams to the perimeter, commence a full lockdown. I won't have any stragglers slipping under the radar on the off chance someone is foolish enough to attempt escaping the justice he's long overdue for."

The Lieutenant Commander snapped toward the communications technician, his volume bolstered by the urgency of Strasza's order: "You heard her! Lock it down!"

Outside of the command center, the stormtroopers posted around the outpost darted stiffly to their posts, and the security gates ignited to life- barring any entry or exit to the small station. The refugees still remaining in the warehouse were quickly corraled outside and arranged into lines, all the staff gathered along with them. Stormtroopers rounded every living soul within the outpost into a somewhat neat formation, dismissing the questions asked of them by the anxious lot. The chatter elevated, the civilians finding themselves swept up into a tide of unease as Djorn Bline Djorn Bline and his men swept through them, pulling specific individuals from the crowd and taking them away from the rest. What resistance there was, was efficiently put down by swift melee strikes to the nose or chin of resistors.

There would be no chances taken.

Stepping back out beneath the sunlight, the Lord Executor and her accompanying soldiers strode to the front of the uneasy group. Unsure of what to do with her hands, given the fact her weapon was nestled comfortably in the holster to her flank, Strasza planted one on a hip pouch, and used the other to bring the group to silence with a gesture. She looked upon them for a brief moment, acknowledging the fact she recognized almost all of them from her service on Carlac in her early years of enlistment. It was another humbling reminder of just how far she had come. This fact washed over her, was processed, and swiftly discarded for the grand scheme of what she sought to do. "I know you're all anxious about what's happening," her voice projected at greater volume from her armor, "though many of you have nothing to worry about, there are those among you who will find themselves persons of interest to myself and the soldiers I've brought with me."

As she spoke, troopers from the 501st tugged another couple out of the formation's heart, pushing them along toward the building she had designated for sorting.

"There is something you must all come to understand," the Lord Executor continued, "Carlac, as we knew it, as we loved it, is dead. It was not the New Imperial Order who made it that way, it was the Warlord we all trusted who betrayed us all who caused it. He took our world from us, and twisted it into something so corrupt and evil that there was no way it could be saved." The words earned a muted shift from the gathered crowd, many of them turning to gaze upon the distant planet in the sky as it was being bombarded. Many cried out. Others stared in horror, the full realization of what was happening finally dawning upon them. "It pains me to see our world suffer this fate, but I find peace in it, knowing well that the corruption and tyranny of that snake can harm it no longer. Those of you with the determination to find justice for our world will be returned to it, beneath the surface where you will be safe from the dangers above. The Empire needs you all, now more than ever, as we are beset from all sides by foes who would destroy us if given the opportunity."

Strasza realized then that this was her first real address to Imperial citizens. The weight of that realization dawning upon her urged her posture to right and her boots to further cement themselves into the ground, all but bleeding her determination into her words: "The New Imperial Order will not falter or break in the face of our foes' insanity. We never have, and we never will. We will get justice for the wrongs that have been done, we will endure, and we will crush the Brotherhood of the Maw just as we did The Sith Empire." She paused, steadying the rising hum of her mechanized heart in some mockery of human emotion. She held no mercy or kindness toward the traitors, but to those just as Imperial as she, she would lie on the wire without question. "Those among you with the willpower to do your part will be sent back to work at Nova Vox, protected, and guarded against the threats of Carlac by our soldiers. No harm will come to you under their care. There is no comparison to the lives you once lived, but it is a start in the return to normalcy."

Another group of nearly fifteen was pulled from the formation and herded away.

"Any questions you may have can be raised to the Sergeant here," the Lord Executor gestured to the woman on her right with a hand, "please step forward when your name is called, you will receive your designation and the transport number you are to board after collecting your belongings." Without anything to add, Strasza stepped from her position and gave the go-ahead for the soldiers in her company to get to work as she had discussed with them previously. She marched away from the crowd, pausing briefly as a familiar name was cast from the Sergeant's lips:

"Julian Qar! Step forward!"

Whatever she felt then, she disconnected entirely from and turned the corner to push through the secured doors of the storage house, coming face-to-face with the hefty line of citizens who had been vetted and found wanting. "Ma'am, they're all here. More are on the way." The masked COMPNOR agent who met her just beyond the doors nodded, settling in beside her. "I'll wait for the rest before I begin."

There was little retaliation from those that were detained from the displaced refugees. Those bold enough to show their teeth were smashed in with little effort. Fear was instilled in the innocent and the guilty, the comfort of relief replaced the essence of fear from those that were faultless. Those that were sinful could only hope and pray that they were not approached by any agent of COMPNOR. It was a quick sweep of arresting the delinquents, none were killed...yet. Their deaths were inevitable, and the "fortunate" ones spared would be worked tirelessly to pay their crimes.

Absolute justice.

<"Snake, come in.">

<"What is it? Found anything interesting?">

<"If only that were the case, they are starting to patrol the perimeter and are pretty uptight with the protocols from the Lord Executor?"

<"Meaning?">

<"They are not allowing refugees to go outside of the outpost's perimeter, including the children."

Feth. An unexpected obstacle, but how strict were they? Would the patrollers even deny the orders from the Director of Progress to allow his men move the adolescents?

<"Tell them you have direct orders from me to move those children, and if they hesitate or even dare to contact the Lord Executor, you take them out...discreetly. Try not to get any eyes on you, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Keep me updated.">

<"Roger.">

Too damn skeptical and rebellious from his actions when he could probably gain permission from the cyborg; however, he was a secretive man and enjoyed not having anyone getting into his business. Times changed for Snake after the death of Tavlar and he had no trust in the new Imperator, even if some of his policies were ones that he supported.

"Lord Executor," acknowledging the cyborg as he entered the storage house with a crowd of refugees that were detained, "this is all that we have at the moment, but there'll be more to come. My slicers are nearly done with breaching the secured addresses I mentioned to you earlier."
