Private Rending My Way Downtown...

His jaw clenching a bit he looked at the rock and lifted it up, his hands outstretched in front of him, as he clenched his hands, holding onto the rock as it floated in mid-air. His mind focused on the rock as he furrowed his brow, letting the darkness swell up inside him.

With a quick motion he sent half of the rock in one direction and the other going in another. Taking a few deep breaths, almost a pant as he looked at were the two pieces had landed. His eyes darting between the two, as he began to pick up another one.

Taking the next rock he put his down on his lap as he just focused on doing the same motions in his head. Not as dramatically as last time, he managed to slowly tear the rock in half. Leaving the pieces floating in the hair between him and Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn he looked at him for.... anything.

The man looked at him expectantly in the aftermath of his success, and for a moment Thesh merely continued to observe. Eyes shifted between rock pieces, and then to the Zabrak, before he began to nod slowly.
A little focus, finesse, and frustration... It made for a wonderful combination in the right hands. And with time, even the latter could give way to simple darkside energy, in whatever form it needed to take. Frustrations now would lead to competency later, provided he kept it up.
"There we go..." He rubbed his chin for a moment, slowly pushing up to his feet and bringing the now-empty thermos with him. With his back pockets now readily accessible he pulled out a small commlink and plugged in some digits. He didn't say anything into it, just returned it to his pocket and briefly looked toward the door.
"Want to try it on something a little bigger?" he inquired, "Something that's a little more akin to what you might use it on for real?"

Slowly the man got up. Looking over at Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn as the man stood up too. Reaching out and grabbing his cup of Caf' pulling it towards him, as it hit his hand he wrapped his hand around it and sipped at the drink, the warmth sliding down his throat till it rested in his gullet.

Going into this he knew it wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world, but with a little help from the darkside, and letting his emotions out of frustration and anger eventually led him to where he wanted to go. Even if it was just a flower and some rocks, he would be able to build on these abilities to perform force rend on something larger.

Thesh's words hit his ear and he just raised a brow slightly, Something larger? What did Thesh have that I could practice on? Some sort of droid? He wasn't sure what Thesh had in store, but if it meant that Dral could practice on something more the size he was wishing to use this newfound ability on, he was more than happy to try.

"I would be more than happy to attempt to use this on something biggger. Just to inquire what did you have in store for me to try on?"

Thesh didn't respond.
At least, not verbally.
Instead he turned to the doorway and watched as it slid open, revealing what Dral had suspected to be his victim. Opponent? Who knew. It was indeed a droid, one made for training yet larger than a simple remote. It was about the size of an average human, and it stomped over toward them both and stopped just a couple of feet from Dral.
It faced him. Didn't even pay any attention to Thesh. It was armed with both a blade and a blaster, the former was slung over its back. It regarded the Zabrak for a moment, before unsheathing it and holding the blade out in preparation.
"A little added motivation for you," he said, as he stepped back. Oddly the droid did not make the first move. Thesh just observed, curious as to whether Dral would fall back on that which he was most comfortable with, the art of the sword, or put into practice what he'd just spent time figuring out.

Glancing over at Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn , a brow slightly raised, he took the lightsaber from his hip and ignited it. He didn't intend to be stuck to his own devices if this thing was going to go off on him when he tried to pull this thing in half.

Twirling his saber in his hands he looked up at the droid in front of him, reaching his hands out he focused on the droid in front of him. His saber in one hand as he seemingly held onto two imaginary pieces in his hands and began to slowly pull one hand away from the other.

The crunching and pulling of metal could be heard as he focused on the being in front of him baring his teeth as he looked at the droid in front of him. The cables from the droids hands slipped out as a gab grew wider, the cables unplugging as Dral began to pull the droids sword hand away from the rest of its body. Dral's focus unending as he watched the pieces come apart in front of his own eyes.

At first it seemed as though the man might fall back on old tricks, comforted by that which he knew. But no blade struck the droid, instead Dral focused on tearing the thing apart. It really wasn't that much more difficult than it had been when it was a petal, or a pebble. Did it require a little more focus? Precision? Did he have to keep pulling where previously it might have been a much faster endeavour?
Sure. All of the above.
But it didn't mean he couldn't do it. Didn't mean he didn't already know what it was he had to do.
As the droid came to realize that it was being hurt from the inside, it lashed out with its blade toward him. Even as the wires were torn from it, even as all that held its arm into its socket was ripped apart, it fought back.
But ultimately it ended up a useless mess of wires, bolts, and durasteel.

Dral simply stepped past the droid as it slashed down at him with his now missing sword hand as Dral bared his teeth, the center of the droid slowly beginning to groan and whine under the pulling that was happening on its torso. Dral was pulling the droid in half, removing the torso from the legs. The metal groaning as cords began to snap and leak out from the opening that was forming between the droid.

Having turned his lightsaber off at this point he watched as the droid attempted to defend himself from something that was near impossible for the droid to defend against. If it were a person he swore he could see the look of despair and hopelessness on its face as he threw the halves of the droid to the floor. Some deep breaths coming from the Zabrak as he stood over the destroyed droid.

"More I want more, I want the biggest rancor on this side of the galaxy! I want to CRUSH everything in my path, pull something limb from limb until it passes out from the loss. Until the sweet savory kiss of death takes them..."

Dral looked almost mad for a moment, his eyes looking around frantically looking for more things to rend in two, wanting to feel what it was like for tendons to snap under the ability he had begun to learn. As he finished speaking his voice trailed off as he came back to some sort of sanity looking over at Arcturus Dinn Arcturus Dinn with an almost apologetic look of loosing his cool.

"You're a quick learner."
He could have said something else, something more. He could have told the man that control was a necessary part of the process, and that succumbing to ones bloodlust was foolish. But he didn't. Because bloodlust had its place. Even if it was not something Thesh let himself succumb to often.
Besides... Dral brought himself out of the frenzy of his own accord. If nothing else, that was admirable. That showed more control that not having been frenzied in the first place would have.
He offered a smile, and a nod of encouragement, before waving a hand and tossing the remnants of the droid to one side. He'd get it fixed up later, no sense in tossing away good parts after all.
"It's more or less the same with organic matter," he explained, allowing the Zabrak a moment to compose himself once more. "Well, so long as you aren't squeamish. Makes an awful sound..."
He tossed the thermos between his hands for a moment, looking past it to the man, and nodded again.
"Felt good, didn't it? When you put your mind to something, truly try, you'll find more often than not that it is possible. Especially if the Force flows freely through you, as it does. Keep at it, Dral... Put it to good use."
