Republic Counter-Invasion of Prakith [OOC]

The Grenade would have detonated the moment you tried to affect its direction, thus you would be exposed to the gas of the force breaker in little under a second, two at most. As far as the shrapnel goes you are not going to be able to shrug off the shrapnel and ignore the gas, unless you are a force god and i was not informed.
Furthermore, browncoats are made in such a way that normal force sensing of them is far harder than say a normal "OOh danger spidey sense thing." this is explained in the grenade link not four posts up.

Next time, probably best to avoid this sort of situation by specifying what you're doing. However, you'd have been better off with the standard grenade. Forcebreakers don't work like you think they do.

I never said anything about approaching to close range, dude -- my character was just standing there with her sabre off, having just entered the hangar bay, and she wouldn't know what a Zorren is or that it has claws that dangerous -- besides, he ran away as soon as the hit landed, so there's no reason for Selka not to switch her attention. See what I mean? This really isn't something to get worked up about. This is just the standard bumps and bruises of learning to PVP. Do yourself a favor - next invasion, tangle with Rev or someone else really competent, and they'll show you the ropes. Definitely more patient about it than I am.

Again, it was a rather small problem and i stopped reading Vulp's posts long ago... though if hes run off im going to have to smack him later. Further i admit that alot of my distaste for your showing up in one post and attacking, when i had assumed you couldn't do that as per the rules in oneposting your entrance to somewhere. Furthermore i was annoyed though this was my fault at your shrugging off the grenade like nothing at first when the post before by Warok had made not of it being a Force breaker. Further more i admit some of my OOC feelings towards you over your actions in the past year have made me never wish to RP with you between the Mandos, the Republic, the GoT board, and so on. So kinda at fault for reacting a bit harshly. None the less my concerns were as followed.
