Force Rank Transfer Request
Okay, so I am a little nervous about this part. I've been writing this character at a couple boards since the early 2000s, so a lot of the threads aside from being ancient and not very indicative of where I or there character am at, were purged with fire in the great ez board crash. So I have a few more recent RPs, including a thread which served as the equivalent of a Master Trial, but nothing in the way of Force training. Because of this, character reasons, and because I acknowledge I am new to this community, I will only be requesting Knight equivalency.
As far as this character, he started out at that guy's crabshack (link just for reference, very few RPs survive from that time), before following several friends who had split away to form The Rebel Faction in the mid-2000s from which I will be linking relevant RPs.
Dark Rising: What's Yours Is Mine - the previously mentioned Master Trial. I linked the page in which I first spoke, as the thread was also a Sith/Imperial planetary takeover of Naboo, the seat of what was left of the Jedi at the time. During the thread, my character Zark Ekan dueled a Sith Master and then his apprentice, escaping severely wounded but rescuing several valuable Lightside artifacts from the Temple.
The Force Wars - At this point, Zark is Grandmaster of his own Temple (more because I was one of the few Jedi left on the board than any delusions of grandeur) and a lot of super irrelevant galactic events are going down. Does not feature Zark much except for the first post but I also write several other characters in the thread (Nathanos, Cygnus, Isaac, and Mazik).
Paradise Lost - Zark comes back after Force Wars, and weird things start happening. Gosh, realizing now how out there some of these plot points get. Also features an ensemble cast but I write everyone.
Duality - A more intimate thread with a few friends, one of whom was playing a homebrew version of Leia. Arguably the best representation of Zark as a Jedi, even if its possibly not my best writing, as its very one on one and you get to see him in a teaching role somewhat.
Legacies: Alpha ex Omega - I only made a few posts near the end of the thread that aren't very related to anyone else's, and I vaguely remember being in kind of a dark place at the time of writing it, but the thread is about the funeral of his longtime Master, and my last post ends on kind of a happy note which is nice.
I realize those might not be the best representations of what you are looking for, and I can do some more archive digging, in the meantime here are a couple of one on one threads done with a Sith character of mine.
The Church and the Crusader - I write Xoverus.
Crimson Tides: Cathartic Pilgrim - Another Xoverus and Silk.
So I get that some of these are more long form than maybe is this community's usual style, a byproduct of TRF not having very many writers as the years stretched on, but I hope it gives some indication of my style of prose and dialogue. I do have experience with shorter form, more collaborative stuff, both at TGC and also some small stuff I've written at Star Wars Epics and SWFans.
Let me know if this is sufficient, what else you might need from me, any questions, if I am unworthy, etc. As I've said I am quite new here so if there are any problems with backstory stuff in my bio itself I am very flexible about making edits. Obviously if this request is denied I will have to do some rewrites, but that is okay if that is the verdict.
