Rescuing the grandmaster

Why don't you use the Intelligence Agents to try and go in and find what we can before the Jedi move anywhere near enemy territory?

I'll be more than happy to start getting my hands dirty for the Republic and making new alliances by helping with this.

As [member="Corvus Raaf"] said - the only good Jedi is an alive Jedi. So why not let us ensure they stay alive a little longer?

Aaralyn did indeed, and knows obviously who took her and has already contacted Vornskr who welcomed her to attack his position.

So she knows where she is being held...

However, I believe there is alot more at work here - I'd probably direct that you guys consult [member="Kiskla Grayson"] because there is a bit more to it than simply her being taken.

Which I think is the reason why the thread paused with Vornskr, however, I could be wrong.

I feel so loved, guys! Thank you!

I already have my IC situation worked out (mostly..), however and investigation sounds fun -- especially with the growing realm of the Shadows and investigators. Unfortunately, it shan't be resulting in an immediate liberation of Kiskla.

There is [member="C'sami Ssozi] running around, she could easily be mistaken for a 'broken' Kiskla (due to her physical characteristics) -- which could be fun for y'all to play with. Let me know what you come up with, I'm more than happy to work with all of you! :)

Lol this still sounds very fun. And even if we can't actually rescue Kiskla ya know maybe we should still do a thread?

A "failed" rescue can still be fun. Having a plan put together that, ooc, is doomed to fail because of other reasons could be great. We can do investigations to set it up, then perform an operation, only to be wrong about something and while we pull things off we don't rescue Kiskla, thus we can still get activity in on this and we, hopefully(?), don't disrupt any existing plans? Like oh we discover a prison barge of the OS and hit it, or we lure some Sith out and make a scene above a prison while people break in only, to find she isn't there at all because reasons?

[member="Kiskla Grayson"] #TheIntrigue

You have me for sure totally wondering what plot you cooked up. Whatever you do have in store I'm excited to see/read/follow the thread whenever it happens.

I tried to tag everyone, hopefully I did! If I missed you, my deepest apologies.

So I have an idea with regards to this and wanted to see what everyone thinks. I agree with [member="Kiskla Grayson"]'s thinking that an investigation would be fun. In regards to this, I had an idea of doing something somewhat complicated but ultimately enjoyable with the investigative thread, if anyone is interested.

Investigations tend to be messy things, and there are large numbers of people involved....similar to what we have here with a large number of people interested in being involved in this. I was thinking we could run a thread that has multiple groups investigating K. Grayson's whereabouts. For example, (1) friends of Kiskla would want to find her, (2) the Jedi Shadows would absolutely be looking for her, (3) the Republic military/intelligence would be searching for her, etc., etc., etc.,

We could see who is interested in this investigation and divide them up into a set number of groups. These groups then run their own investigations into her capture and whereabouts simultaneously and as the thread progresses, one by one the groups would cross paths and join forces....or just cross paths and then move on....or whatever anyone wanted!

Obviously this would be a bit complicated and some things would need to be hashed out in the beginning to keep the story from collapsing in on itself, but if each group was given a specific lead to follow, I think it could be particularly interesting.

Anyway, that was my idea. If you like the idea please let me know, if you don't also please let me know but remember that underneath this cold metal anti-ox mask and goggles.....I'm a sensitive and fragile individual..... :D

I'm very interested, I've been meaning to get my character introduced into The Republic officially, anyway, but I'm afraid I can't promise anything due to the invasions.

I am still pretty new here but I am given to understand this Darth Vornskr fellow would probably rip us apart. Seriously, not to be disparaging, but which PC could actually stand up to him and do more than crawl away half-dead?

I would imagine the GM would somehow reach out to a member(s) of the Council and they might do a stealthy rescue.

To even stand a chance of a direct confrontation, our PCs would need several in-game years to develop their skills. Even then, we would need probably, what, like at least 5 or 6 full Masters?

Yes, we are beyond the idea of trying to rescue the Grandmaster, as she has her own plans set up. This is about investigating her abduction and searching for her. Not finding her and saving her! :)

You could always include the uh two missing Padawans.

Just a thought.
