Respecting Younger Members: A Perspective

Next we'll have to wear suits and dresses.

I get the "noob" thing. But I'm still going to ask questions about certain staff announcements. I'm 100% willing to be the devils advocate when it comes to discussions. And I'm going to act towards teenage role players the same as I would to adult role players.

I believe in the process of earned respect. As in, respect being an admiration for someone's personality, beliefs, achievements and all around well being. It would be wrong of me to say I respect someone I don't know because I have just met them and have no prior knowledge of them or what they have done to earn that respect. This doesn't mean I immediately hate them, or wish ill will on them or anything like that. It just allows me just cause to give them the opportunity to show me why they deserve respect, with out any prejudice to shift my view.
