She had just been starting to slip off when he flicked her nose again, and she wanted to weep as she struggled back into full consciousness.
"I'm tryin' Jack." She managed to not whimper but only just.
She didn't know his ship well enough to catch the slight difference in the whirr of the hyperdrive. Even if she had known it better, she might not have noticed, given the state she was in.
Tryp didn't answer him right away, and he was probably about to reach over to flick her nose again when she finally did.
"Jes you, Jack. Jes you."
