Valery took a few sharp breaths as she held up the weight of what was coming down but suddenly, she noticed that it was getting less demanding as Kahlil focused his signature skill on the debris. She blinked and looked at him — this was a use of gravity manipulation she hadn't seen from him before but it was extremely useful right now.​

"I got this, you get him, yeah?"​

When he asked, Valery was already on the move. The longer they were fighting, the more in tune she felt with him, making their coordination beyond anything natural. After taking a sprint to the edge, she launched herself into the air and towards the looter who had become a lot more problematic with his grenades.​

​

Seeing her approach though, he quickly reloaded and fired a single grenade to intercept her. It closed in and on contact, Valery was swallowed up in a large smoke-filled explosion. But to his surprise, she came out of it untouched, as a Barrier had shielded her against the explosion.​

​

He quickly tried to run but after she landed, the sound of a brief clash followed before the Temple was all silent again.​

​

"You doing okay over there?" Valery called out as she appeared at the edge while she dragged the unconscious man with her. If Kahlil needed help with the snow and ice, she'd be there in no time again.​

"There might be more of them out here, too."​

​

Then it was as if her voice had been the trigger for it — two armed looters were approaching from behind Kahlil. They had traced the two Jedi's path through the snow and were hoping to sneak up on him with pistols and knives at the read.​

More came, but rather than Kahlil turning to deal with them, he just moved his hand. The two sneaking up from behind were immediately met with what he'd stopped from falling. Panic filled their minds as the roof the Jedi had been keeping from collapsing fell atop them. They ran and scrambled to get away, unaware that even as the larger pieces hit them they'd never truly be hurt. They had no where near enough weight to cause harm.

And they blocked the path. Weight returned as everything settled behind him, cutting off the two remaining treasure seekers from Valery Noble , Kahlil, and their comrade.

"A couple more. Maybe we should leave for now? Can always come back another time."

From the other side, Valery watched Kahlil lower the snow and ice to scare away the other scavengers. She just chuckled and jumped back over towards him, this time landing safely and close to him. Her eyes shifted past to look at the barricaded path they had taken to get here, and a sigh escaped her.​

"You're probably right. I'd rather not have them damage the Temple more than they already have." ​

​

She then frowned, a bit frustrated that their little trip was being ruined by these people. The journey of helping him get his Force sensitivity back was important, but she also just enjoyed spending time with him like this. ​

​

"We do have to find a different way out now the path is blocked, but that shouldn't be a problem. The scavenger I knocked out came in from the other side."​

"Then we follow his way out." He smiled. As.. Eventful as this ended up being, he wouldn't change it for the world. His hand slipped into Valery Noble 's. A gentle squeeze, and he turned to start heading down the ruins. "There's no hurry to fix me. I promise. Let's go back to Vera, yeah?"

Her expression had been a tad sour, showing the disappointment she felt because of what happened. But when he took her hand and gently squeezed it, she looked at him and her smile returned. ​

​

"I know there's no hurry. I just enjoy spending the time together." She said but at the mention of going back to Vera, her desire to go home grew a lot more.​

​

"That sounds like a great idea." She squeezed his hand and together, they began making their way out.​
