The bullet's collided with the armored chestplate upon the battle suit and had little to no affect except for one or tow bullets making their way through during minimal damage. If Edward hoped to do any damage to Eric he would have to break through Eric's armor plating. Suddenly, a silver bullet whizzed through the air and Eric had little to no reaction time but the bullet was off by a few centimeters, just grazing the right side of his helmet. Suddenly, a blue interface turned on within the view finder of the suit, it was the combat HUD which was still in the works by Quill Industries. Eric noticed as he was raising his head, a object being lifted....a object shaped to that of a flamethrower. He rolled out of the way upon the ground and skidded across the ground but kept his footing by jabbing a clawed hand into the ground, stopping him from sliding away upon the slippery mud. Once the fires subsided, Edward was nowhere to be found. Eric's gaze shifted towards a tree close to where Edward was previously and he activated his thermal vision. It showed life all around him but the special part was, it showed him a man behind a tree...waiting for the right moment. Eric turned off his thermal vision and strode towards the tree Edward was behind while grabbing a vibrosword in his right hand and in his left hand grabbing a slugthrower SMG. He fired the SMG upon the bark of the tree trying to get a few shots in while keeping his sword at the ready if a counterattack came round.

not knowing what to do in this situation he decides to listen to [member="Edward Blake"] ,unfortunately astromechs aren't built with a subspace transceiver's well at least not this one.

"wheeep boop whirrr doddledeet doot deeee"
i cant do that i'm not a space walkie talkie,i'll need a ship to do it

letting of his beeps he starts making his way to hide behind some nearby shrubbery to observe how this battle is going to play out

Eddie heard the astromech. He barked at the droid, not out of malice, but out of urgency.

"My ship is a quarter of a klick north! Go!"

The Comedian hunkered down even more as shots hit the bark of the tree, thankfully not piercing it. Thank the Force for wood. But he was suppressed, not being able to move and little to no tactical options thanks to the lack of gear. He could only wait...

Unbeknownst to Blake, however...

When Quill had read the abundant life readings on his thermal scanners, he hadn't just seen plant life and various vegetation...

He saw some cannoks, too.

Cannok-ConceptArt-KOTOR2.jpg

The hideous creatures, native to Dxun, were noted for their belligerence and lack of fear of fire. In fact, it only attracted them. These large beasts were capable of killing smaller creatures as well as men, especially when they were in packs.

And right now, there were 5 of them.

The long eyestalks locked in on Quill. Eddie, hunched and camouflaged, was difficult to see, at least by the animals' standards. They only saw the flames, and the shiny, armored individual reflecting light and making noise with the sharp barks of his gun.

The 5 cannoks roared, somewhat intimidating despite their medium size. They were considered pests and vermin by the Mando'ad, sure, but to outsiders of the moon...

It would take some time.

The Comedian saw them and shut down, making no noise at all. If they could distract the armored gizka...

The 5 charged, jaws open, sharp fangs already gunning for Quill's legs and arms, seeking to bring him down and rip him apart. He was lucky he had that armor. It would stop them, but they would keep trying until they were dead.

Eddie could possibly get away...

Eric saw the creatures approaching him too late, the creature's pounced knocking him harshly to the ground...knocking the air out of him. The cannoks began to maul at his helmet and chestplate, some teeth breaking through but just barely leaving barely noticeable marks. Eric stabbed the sword through the underside of once of the creature's knocking it off of him and killing it. A creature then bit his hand and ate up his SMG leaving him with just his sidearm, and some other weaponry. One of the cannok began to tear away the helmet with the help of other cannoks. In response, Eric send out wave after wave of flames at the cannok's burning them. Two of them died in response leaving two more. Eric then reached up and tore his broken helmet off and threw it to the ground and stomped upon it. Eric then stabbed the sword through the head of a charging cannok and then for the final one...he stabbed it mercilessly to death. Three claw marks were torn diagonally upon Eric's face, mostly blinding him due to the blood. He then approached Edward with the sword in hand while wiping blood away from his face. He then headbutted Edward and send his sword charging towards Edward's chest.

having not started his jet thrusters up in a while R9-X1 struggles to get them started automatically, pulling out his arc welder he lights the nearby bush on fire and uses it to manually light his jet thrusters then starts to hover up in the air. With his scanner still out searching for ships he finds one 250 meters out and it's to the north.

"letting out a hew of whistles and beeping at [member="Edward Blake"] "

begins to rock back and forth in the air to check his manoeuvrability

Damn, they did a number on that guy. Blake could barely see his face through all the blood that was covering it. Must make it hard to see...

Bam! The headbutt came down hard on Eddie's forehead, moderately stunning him and leaving some blood smeared on him, no doubt from the claw wounds. That was painful, but the Comedian just laughed as Quill blindly swung his sword out, aiming to skewer the funny commando. No problem. That armor looked clunky, easy to read movement wise. Almost all armor was, which was why Blake chose to don light leather armor most of the time. He easily sidestepped the stab, and in the imbalance that the momentum of Eric's move caused, brought his elbow hard into the squishy part of his blood covered nose. A satisfying crack sounded out, indicating that the sniffer was broken. More blood poured down his already crimson face. Beautiful.

Eddie called upon his elite military training and experience then in a move meant to disarm Quill from his sword. In the pain and sightlessness that only a broken nose could cause, the Comedian went behind Quill and kicked the bending part of the knee while he was still registering the pain. That brought him to the floor, on his knees. Blake then reached out and twisted Eric's sword arm in an armbar while, with the other arm, putting him in a chokehold. Damn, that knee was really starting to hurt now in the vegetation. Hopefully the guy dropped the sword or passed out soon. He figured, with the injuries Quill sustained, that Blake would have a shot at taking this guy in for assaulting and obstructing a Special Operative. So he wasn't trying to kill him...

For now.

The ground was moist and slippery. Eddie definitely had the edge and the tactical advantage, but Quill still had a sharp sword in hand. Who knows where the now ground melee could go?

seeing edward get headbut R9-X1 take this as his cue to hurry up and call for reinforcements and starts to fly towards the ship at full speed reaching the ship only a minute later he lands next to the ships door

plugging his scomp link into the door he starts to hack his way into the ship being a standard public transport the door opens as soon as he sticks his scomp link in. heading to the cockpit and plugging his scomp link in at the astromech port he sends out a distress signal on republic channels for nearby reinforcements, reading:

'Republic transport in need of assistance send reinforcements to dxun at these co-ordinates

Jarell could hear [member=fedrig] running through the bushes jarell was in hot pursuit on foot launching knock out darts at him as well as shooting stun bolts at him from his EE-3

Fedrig

Guest
Fedrig was still swimming underwater trying to get away until his lungs could not take it, he resurfaced and gasped loudly for air. He looked around, he could hear blaster shots from the hill, it wasn't far away but he certainly made some legway.

He was tempted to continue swimming underwater, however his blaster was flooded and probably unusable. He dropped it on the bank of the river, he had two sturdy pistols back at his hut but that was a fair distance away, could he get there without being caught?

Fedrig sigh as he pulled himself out of the water, freezing cold, shivering making thermal tracking difficult however he didn't realise he was being tracked by DNA scan. He start walking slowly, wondering if he could find a settlement ruin to bunker in till this whole thing was forgotten.

"So Fedrig, you decide to help a stranger out, end up in a stand-off with said stranger and a so-called Republic stranger before a new person joined in and a robot watched. Lesson learnt today. Never help a stranger out again, betray you they will." Fedrig mumbled to himself as he walked.

Jarell jumped down from a tree right in front of [member=fedrig] and stopped him dead in his tracks. Jarell put his rifle to fedrigs head.

+slow down there. Your not wanted, there was a mix up in the hunters orders. He just needs to ask you some questions that's all. If he tries to take you anywhere I'll kill him. I'll protect you cuz I like you, I don't know why, but I do. Here take this, it still warm you up.+

Jarell takes out a warm blanket from his belt pouch that was folded up and offers it to fedrig.

+what is your name? I'll take you to my ship, I have some dry clothes in it that might fit you+

Corvus' ship was close to where the reported site she was requested to investigate when the sensors picked up small arms fire below. Mando's shooting at each other? Game hunters? Take your pick.

So she set her ship down next to another and shook her head. Why were routine missions never the routine ones?

She lowered the exit ramp and closed her eyes momentarily. Using Force Sense she could detect multiple life forms - including what must be creatures. She raised the hood of her Jedi robes and set off in the general direction of the action. She entered Center of Being as she walked, Her saber, shoto and Dawnbringer were attached to her belt but remained there.

So far the Force hadn't told her to act. But it was early days of course.

Fedrig

Fedrig stopped in front of the Mandalorian, eyeing him carefully, biting his bottom lip as his eyes narrowed. This Mandalorian had attempted to shoot at him and capture him, trusting him was a serious issue but then he couldn't hate the man, he was a bounty hunter, credits spoke to him more than morals.

"Thanks..." He took the blanket and used it more as a towel to dry himself off, he didn't mind the cold, being wet and cold was dangerous.

"I'm Fedrig, and I think new clothes are in order." Fedrig answered after a sigh, he liked these rags.

Jarell nodded

+alright, come with me, look I now trusting me is not a to priority for you, but I'm a mando'ade. When we say we are going to do something, we honor it. My people are very honorable+

Jarell starts walking back in the direction of his ship. Finally [member=fedrig] and Jarell meet back up with [member=Edward Blake].

+alright, look here he is. But you ain't taking him anywhere, I made an honorable promise to him that you just had some questions. And us mando'ade honor our word, so if you Betray me, I will kill you. Fedrig, you wait here I'll get the clothes.+

Jarell went back to his ship went inside and grabbed some steel toe black combat boots, hunter green cargo pants, and a long sleeve black shirt and brought them to fedrig.

The next few moments came in a flash and the next thing Eric knew, he was being chocked and Edward was trying to disarm him. Sure he was out of his element, not training for two years and counting but then this encounter happened....let's just say he Eric considered training himself again. Eric then flexed his his arms in front of him and used the momentum and mass of both him and Edward to try and throw Edward in front of him and onto the ground. Eric hoped that this would work due to Edward focusing on other matters at the moment along with the ground being slippery and Edward having little leverage upon the ground while Eric had more leverage due to being on his knees. If the throws did work, Eric would back away from Edward and get in a defensive stance.
