Avedia shook her head. With the Force, she levitated the glass dome back over the Holocron and threw the sheet over it, concealing it, the glass and plinth from view. "I already have what I need you for, Vaulkhar. Until I require something else from you, I will not allow you to study the Holocron. Nothing comes for free in this life." Stepping away from the man, the hooded woman approached the viewing port which stretched across the face of the deck and laid her eyes on the trails of hyperspace.

Vaulkhar simply shrugged and stood back up.

"With or without your express permission I shall see the holocron. It's not a matter of if, but when, dear Ella."

The scowl that momentarily held his face turned back into his usual, awkward smile and he turned away from the holocron and moved to stand beside her once more. His empty gaze fell onto that of the hyperspace trails as well, where he simply held it there. He was unsure where they were going, but he most certainly didn't care. There would be answers when he arrived. He was more interested in the holocron, but now was neither the time or place.
