By the time that Malcolm got to where the main battle was taking place, the Viszla line had pushed the pirates back and into a mine. He saw the new Mand'alor talking to some other clan higher ups, he assumed, near the mine, while the warriors around him were setting up to assault the mine. Malcolm felt a bit foolish, trying to go around the flank. He was tired of underestimating distances in open terrain. Despite the training he'd been doing, he was still too used to the confines of shipboard combat, more suited to marine operations than army ones. Still, even these minor failings were offering him valuable lessons, and so he did not rue them as he walked past the pickets and into the army proper. Here and there, picket lines of the war beasts were being set up, while others were reloading weapons. Some people were being patched up, body and armor, at clearly marked locations.
Malcolm was not hurt, nor was his light armor more than scratched, so he found some general access supplies and reloaded his ammo. Then he took up a spot near the front lines watching the mine entrance. There he waited for the leaders to tell them to go in and take out the pirates.
