Rising from the Ashes (ask for invite)

Shieldmaiden of Clan Munin (semi-retired)
[member="Muad Dib"] and Clan Farr? Now where had the golden-haired baar'ur heard those names before... It took a moment to ring a bell. Gods that seemed ages ago as Mesh'la was a young teen then.

[ If it's the same vod I remember, Dib rallied with the Mando'ade at Wayland when the Prime invaded the planet. He helped to defend Mount Tantiss with the group Graad and I were with... That was not a fun time. We nearly all died there inside the ruins when they blew it. He's also a Force user... not that it means anything per se. Just thought you should know. ]

Briika was pretty proud of herself, then [member="Rianna Ar'klim-Organa"] mentioned the filters. Duh?! She had completely forgotten to check them. That would have been a bad mistake if it had led to the whole generator overheating.

[ Vor'e... Oh yeah, right. I'll check the filters now. ]

Taking a grip on the netting that ran the interior of the hold he activated the magnetic soles and stood among his brethren. Small jokes and the muted smack of gauntlet fists upon chest plates echoed as the ship bucked slightly as it entered the atmosphere. These were his vode, just as the ones who worked to rehabilitate the planet below were. They were all mando'ad and this was Manda'yaim.

The entry onto the planet wasn't always as rough as this. The devastation that had affected the surface had long lasting and wide effects that even altered the weather. A sad smile crossed his face. Nothing worth the effort was ever easy. Feeling the slight strain as the repulsors activated and the shuttle dropped to the coordinates below he nodded at the vode.

"Buy'ce on boys and girls. Yaim is hurting right now, but give her time and she'll be back."

The vode nodded as the shuttle landed and the ramp lowered. Leading the way from the ship he pulled the force to him, strengthening his body. Lifting his glowing, blue eyes to the darkened sky he watched the near omniscient cloud of ash drift. There was a chill in the air. Looking back upon the planet he called Yaim he observed the eternal blanket of ash stretched out in all directions.

The vode had grown silent as they stared. None had returned since it's devastation. They had all heard of what had occurred, but hearing and seeing the aftermath was two completely different things. Shaking his head slightly he motioned for them to stay and begin clearing the landing area. Pausing before he moved to enter the building he looked back at his aliit.

"Where there is life, there is hope. Like the fabled Phoenix we will rise from the ashes."

Moving away he walked to the building and entered. Stopping in the foyer he checked the read out built into his right gauntlet and checked that the blueprints had been downloaded properly. Nodding slightly he saw he was in the main entrance and so he waited for his 'hosts' to appear.

While he waited he began clearing some of the debris still in the main halls, choosing to be active rather then to sit on his shebs. He wasn't made for complacency or merely milling around waiting.

Rianna felt like a bobble head nodding her head as she listened. Ok so it sounded like [member="Muad Dib"] was a good Vod. She started towards the front doors where she imagined he would come in, "Briika if you know him can you come up here please."

Something felt odd to Rianna she wasn't sure what she turned the corner and saw someone moving debrie she just stopped in her tracks, the aura of this person was littered with dark ness that meant only one thing to Rianna....Sith. She knew that there were Sith among the Vod again even after everything they had done to Mandalore, and yet here was one.

She fought an urge to yell. Instead she drew a breath reminding herself that he was here to help. That Arianna had mentioned him by name in regards to Bella. So...she had her own choices to make right and it would take everything she had to be good.

"Are you Muad?" She asked trying to keep the sharpness from her voice.

[ Elek... I'll be there in a moment. ] she answered [member="Rianna Ar'klim-Organa"].

Briika shook out the last of the filters, clambering them together to get the dust and dirt out of them, then slipped the filters into their placeholders in the generator. That would have to suffice for now until they could bring in fresh ones to replace the used ones.

The silver-armored Baar'ur made her way up from the basement, then wandered back to the foyer of the medical center. There stood [member="Muad Dib"]. He had already put himself to work it seemed. It was nice to see all working for the better good of Manda'yaim. It was time to do so unbothered by past views and deeds. Bree walked up beside the brunette healer, then waited for the Mando'ad to answer Rianna's question so as not to be impolite.

Lifting a particularly heavy slab of stone to move to the pile he had created he tossed it to the top before moving to the next piece of masonry. As he bent he paused momentarily. Through the Force he felt a presence approaching. One filled with light. Suppressing a smirk he continued his labor waiting for the individual to appear. It wasn't long before he felt the defensive nature that his aura tended to generate. Now the smirk appeared as he acknowledged to himself that things may get a bit interesting.

Hearing the soft footsteps round the corner he continued working until he heard the question, his name ringing in the main entrance room with a sharpness in the woman's tone. Slowly he straightened, a glance at the forearm plate readout matching the armor of the second being to a woman he had met, and fought beside, several times. With his back turned he reached into a pouch at his belt and pulled out a deathstick, lighting it and exhaling before speaking.

"Aye, that's my name. Though I've been called many others as well."

Turning slowly the glowing eyes took in the form of the one who had questioned him. He knew who she was. What she was. He made it a point to learn about his allies and leaders, and Rianna Organa fell into two categories. She was riduur to Ordo and buir to Anija Betna and the little spitfire Ginnie Ordo. But she was also related to the Organa family of Alderaan. The other was Briika, sister to Kad Tor and the other half of Vilaz Munin.

Still smirking he hooked his thumbs into his belt, near his weapons, and cocked his head to the side as he contemplated the well known hosts.

"I've been called many things in my time. But I am not your enemy. Despite what you feel, I am no Sith. Once, yes. And I am no Jedi, and never will be. What I am is a vode who wishes to lend assistance. And with or without your approval I will do just that. But preferably together."

Giving Rianna a moment to digest what he said Muad turned to look at the armored figure of Briika. One of his rare, genuine smiles touched his face as he inclined his head in a nod to the other woman.

"It has been sometime. I went and visited Kad recently, he is doing well. How are the adike? And congratulations on the little ad'ika. How is my old vod Vilaz doing these days?"

Muad didn't refer to Vilaz as Mand'alor, as perhaps they would notice. During his time on another plane he had missed much. Briika most likely would recognize that though many years had passed the Mad Knight looked the same. Time in a hell dimension where you were reborn everyday to face new horrors tended to do that for you. Taking another drag from the deathstick he exhaled a plume of blue smoke.

This was Muad, so this was the man that Arianna fretted over in regards to Arabella. How very interesting, she tilted her head slightly taking in his words, not a sith not a Jedi...but then what? It was easy for her to see the darkness in his aura telling her he was capable of dark things. This was indeed an odd position to be in she could just find out more about him by working with him.

She looked over to where Briika stood there was no change in her she remained calm and collected. His presence did not alarm her least not that Rianna could tell. She then looked back to Muad.

She would keep him near and find out more, "Your people are they engineers? construction workers? There areas that need inspection for structural damage. I could not get the droids to fit into the spaces, perhaps you have brought a way that would allow them to look." The droids were good at many things and they had cleaned the hospital out of many things the first floor was ok. The floors above needed work.

A glance to Briika again, "I hear the generators running good job it will help as the day slips by. and for us to test equipment." There was something else to worry about, they were not the only ones here for reconstruction. There were other teams and Rianna had concern that they would be called out to help.

Briika listened thoughtfully to [member="Rianna Ar'klim-Organa"] and [member="Muad Dib"] exchange greetings. She didn't need the Force to sense a bit of tension between the two. The Healer was more to the light side of the equations and the Mad Knight was to the dark. Perhaps they would each cross out the other and bring a some zero gain then. Back to her level.

The petite blonde removed her silver-colored buy'ce and held it under her left arm while resting it upon that side's shapely hip. A gauntleted hand ran over her plaited hair to smooth the strays down.

"Su cuy'gar, Muad," Bree nodded with a small smile. "Vor entye. Ner ade are good, and [member="Vilaz Munin"] is as well. I am glad you met ner vod'ika. Did you get to met his cyar'ika, [member="Artemis Lux"]?"

The Lioness of Dxun was the first woman since Ralize that the Tor had liked. She was good for [member="Kad Tor"], and kept him off the booze; her younger brother's downfall in the past.

Briika looked to Rianna and wholeheartedly agreed. "Elek.... The generators working will make all the difference as we go forth today."

Turning to look once more on Rianna he was momentarily distracted as he tried to see the features that she shared with the woman he loved. But the moment of reverie passed and he smirked lightly. He motioned out the door and toward the place where his people would be landing soon.

"I brought droids to assist with their numbers and several hundred of my clan. Several are engineers and there are a few architects as well. I've only been good and bringing down buildings, not raising them or making sure they don't fall. There others have skills that can be put to use as well. Mechanics, medics, and a few force users who are adept at sensing danger that could come from faulty gas mains, weakened structures, or even assist if there are any still wounded. My clan, as I, am at your service milady."

He gave a nod before turning back to Briika. She had aged, but her visage couldn't reveal it. Good genes he supposed.

"Your welcome. I didn't get to meet Kad's lady friend sadly. But he's doing well. Strong. Sober. A real leader. He's made if there right stuff, that one."

He paused remembering battles and losses, allies and vode, many that were lost as time went on. The smirk was gone.

"If at any time you need me, for any reason, you have my beskad. The same goes for Vilaz and your aliit. We are all mando'ade and we stand together. This won't break us."

The moment over he turned a grin back to the ladies.

"I'll order the kids to come on down. Let me know where you want us to start."

Moving away he opened a channel to his vode above to begin coming planet side. There was much work to be done.

It was interesting to say the least she knew that Arianna had mentioned this man several times and it was not often in good reference but yes they were here to rebuild the hospital.

"Well then set your 'kiddies' about their work." It was then that Malcolm one of Rianna's interns came out to shower her that there was a call for help from one of the clinics on the outskirts of Keldabe City. Rianna shook her head, "Someone needs help I'm amazed that that communications are still up...you two up for an excursion?" She asked looking towards Briika and Muad.

"I don't know what we'll encounter, the information is..sketchy but we never turn our backs we go..." She smiled healing was her life saving others since she could remember.
