• Stealth - The N-5 was developed with stealth and low profile in mind, its components and sleek build allow it to go unnoticed and undetected by most systems.
• Speed - With its slim profile and strong engines, the N-5 is able to outclass most fighters with its incredible speeds and maneuvering capabilities.
• Force - Due to its insane top speeds and maneuverability, the fighter only reaches its peak performance when piloted by someone proficient in the Force.

• NFU - Anyone not attuned with the Force would find this starfighter difficult if not totally unable to utilize it in combat or regular flight.
• Hit and Run - Due to its focus on offense and speed, the N-5 doesn’t have extensive defensive capabilities.
• Nosey - While its offensive firepower is strong for its size and class, all of its weaponry is fore-mounted making for a singular targeting area.

The Royal Naboo Republic N-5 Heavy Starfighter was developed with one group in mind; Jedi. Specifically, the new Order of Shiraya and its Jedi in particular. Needing a hard hitting and fast paced fighter capable of extreme maneuvers when utilized with the Force was the goal of the project.

Soon the design was an advanced version of the older but still capable N-1 model but with updated weaponry, systems and technology. The modern N-5s capabilities are matched by few other starfighters in the galaxy, especially when piloted by a Jedi Ace or other Force capable pilots.

Its four rapid firing laser cannons provide the basis of its offense with typical proton torpedoes to serve as a secondary option for hard targets. Its new single barrel turbolaser requires a longer recharging time due to the power requirements of the weapon and power output limit of the frame. The turbolaser is intended to directly attack weak points on Star Destroyers and other large capital ships and armor, making the weapon otherwise useless on smaller, hard to hit targets.

The suite of systems installed on the craft provide both stealth and countermeasure options for infiltration, scouting, and relaying said information back to home ships and bases. The N-5 is overall a stealthy but hard hitting option for the Royal Naboo Republic Security Force and its Jedi allies.
