Road to Panatha

"Unlikely. War between the Imperials and the various Alliance, Republic, and Freedom fighter groups is inevitable. If the Imperial Order turns and makes more enemies out of the Mandalorians it will only increase the likelihood Mandalorians swell the ranks of their already numerous foes in the South. The Silver Jedi are another matter." The Silver Jedi as a whole Draco distrusted and disliked. He'd seen many of them make the same mistakes as the Jedi Order of the Republic, and many of that order's problem children ended up there. Arisa Yune had challenged Mand'alor Ra and then fled the field when he had surprisingly accepted, and she was now the Protector of Klatooine. Really, the only Jedi Draco liked from the Silver Jedi were the Heavenshields, a far minority of the Order's inhabitants.

"Nor I, on the matter of war. War breeds strong men, but it also gets them killed." Panatha was in the same position Alderaan was in. It was sovereign, powerful, had allies, and protected by a larger government, but without that government it could not defend itself from the stronger, better funded enemies. The longer War stayed away, the longer they would have to build a power base, the better their chances to win against the existing powers would be.

"I would not place much faith in the Alliance, Lady Organa. They are notoriously zealous, and such fanaticism can lead to only one outcome: madness." Was it true? Possibly, but it was no secret on what the Sith Lord thought about the Alliance or the Jedi that followed it. "They have tried several times to dislodge my perfectly legitimate regime on the basis of my religion, all have ended in failure however; but I have no doubt that they won't be discouraged by several more failings." His right to rule over the Epicanthix had been challenged several times in the past, but he had never been dislodged from the throne by those who sought to claim his throne for their own or to remove him completely, and such resilience in the face of adversity had only cemented his rule in the eyes of the people.

"War weeds out those who are not strong enough to survive, Vereen, and elevates those that are to magnificence. Only through strife can the galaxy be cleansed of such weakness and become stronger and stronger with each conflict."
