Roaming Ravelin [The Primeval]

A finicky people, huh.

Well it's not every day he finds someone from a species which needed a mask to breathe, of course it probably had something to do with the atmosphere type of Bastion. Nonetheless the guy was at least interesting enough to keep a conversation going.

Putting the deathstick back in his mouth and taking a smoke, "Daedalus." He answered.

He didn't ask for the man's name, instead he blew out more smoke and sat there quietly. I guess you could say he wasn't much of the social type, his weary eyes wandered the crowds of people as they passed by until he locked them onto a building across the busy street. Cantina, the keyword in the sign. The name of the establishment itself was hazy to him, he didn't quite care but having a drink made the opportunity worthwhile. Standing up again he proceeded to walk towards the building.

Without turning around he waved his hand for the stranger to follow and spoke, "We'll talk inside."

Kran nodded, following the man into the Cantina, he took a seat at one of the booths, he took his eye protectors, or 'goggles' off, rubbing his eyes slowly, before commenting
"Phew, haven't had these off in a /long/ time."
With the eye protection off, it revealed silver eyes, a force user with no training. He didn't know anything about the force, and didn't want to do anything to 'bother' it.
"Kran. Kran Meelan, Bounty Hunter."
Kran offered his hand to shake with the man, after ordering some drinks with a chip of credits.
Kran tapped on his Data Pad, looking at a few models of weapons, well, the data pad mounted on his free hand.

Bounty hunter?

It looks like the two of them have more in common than he initially thought. Still; Daedalus specialized in tracking down force-users. He assumed this one was more of the 'whatever pays' kind of guy. Taking a seat in a booth he lounged, sinking into the seat and ordering a staunch ale.

"If you're looking for bounties on Bastion you might want to find another world. This place is under... Shall we say, heavy occupation?"

Ever since The Primeval took over, things have been quite different. Of course that didn't meant they didn't have any bounties to provide...

Kran relaxed his hand, tapping on his data pad, he answered Daedalus' comment with a short sentence, he seemed to be on the market, searching for armor and new gear.
"No, I'm with the Primeval."
He saw an offer on A Jetpack and a Jump Pack, he responded upon seeing this with,
"Ooh! I'll take that offer up anytime."
He seemed pretty amazed by the prices of these things, maybe he'd be able to buy a droid with the next bounty he cashed in.
"So, what brings you to Bastion?"
[member="Daedalus"]

It was a good question... Honestly, he wasn't sure what brought him to Bastion. Perhaps it was because of that twerp he fought back on Irn but honestly, he just went with the flow. If there was a path to walk he'd trek it until he found a destination worth staying at.

"I'm here on personal business." He kept it as simple as that. Truly there wasn't much more to be said.

Daedalus found it curious that a bounty hunter was working with The Primeval, it made sense... Just, it was curious. "Why The Primeval?"

Kran pauses for a moment, looking up to the man to see if he was joking. Kran saw that the man had a look of seriousness on his face.
Kran finished a transaction for a set of advanced armor for him, then looking back up to the man.
"Well, I joined the Primeval because I believe that I can really matter here. I'm a force user, yes, but I'm not good or evil, neutral, if you will."
"I believe the Primeval could 'do something' with this universe, if you know what I mean. It's hard to explain."
"I'm not here for any bounties, but I am tracking some Rebs."
[member="Daedalus"]

Rebels, huh?

That was an interesting theory he had but it did make some sense... Unlike the Sith or Jedi, The Primeval didn't seem to have this grand philosophy about life and the force. It seemed more like their concerns went beyond the realm of understanding.

Daedalus chuckled a bit, "you're out here to make a difference, then?"

It's not every day you meet a bounty hunter who wants to achieve greater things than making credits.

Kran liked this man, this was the first man he'd met since he was on Bastion, well the first kind enough to actually speak to him, all Kran heard about was the two cantinas closing.
Kran responded to the man with something positive-ish,
"Yep, out to make a difference, but I need to have credits for that, so, bounty hunting is the job."
He seemed to be ordering Armor, Weapons, and gear, as you looked down to his datapad, he was quite the spender, but there was nothing wrong with buying what you needed.
"So, what's with the two Cantina's closing?"
Kran asked, spinning a blaster pistol in his hand.
