Matsu looked at him with a grin on her face. "Oh we arrived a couple of minutes ago." She said it with a smile while they were in the rooms with the sleds there getting a small look on her face. All of the phrik processing machines they could use and her researchers were checking the equipment while she looked at some of the things. "Welcome to one of Sasori's weapon labs and development facilities. Here we test equipment but more then that we try and improve ways to combine the force and technology to advance things." Her look at a few things. "Like our force blasters for going after sithspawn."

"We did?"

Rune would blink in surprise, a bit shocked at how he hadn't actually noticed yet. Looking around, he would then realized that, yes, they did actually arrived, soon noticing the working phrik processing machines and the researchers that would make sure the equipment that was being made at this time would work properly alongside the machines themselves. Impressed by this whole machinery, the Padawan would simply watch in an awed silence, astounded by the amount of work going on around here.

It was only when Matsu would suddenly start talking about force blasters that Rune would seem to rise up from his awed condition, shaking his head.

"Sithspawn-specialized Force blasters? I wouldn't have never thought of it as possible...."

He would ask, seeming shocked by such a revelation. Those things were able to be crafted and work properly after that? Huh.... Very, very impressive. Such beautiful things seemed to be made in this factory....

Looking at him as she had a small grin on her face. "Yes normally it couldn't be, infusing force energy into a weapon is hard and without crystals almost impossible. We made crystals that used the force and could direct them down the focusing chamber to become a directed blast. Only jedi can use it but it will provide protection if you are certain sithspawn are there and going to be coming after you. Against most armor it won't do much and to people for now it doesn't do much but we are working to make it more effective against droids and people." She said the last with a smile and being there in the processing room had all of the workers using the equipment like the loom to make intricate weaves within the armor and equipment.

Rune would stare at the Master Jedi silently during her explanations, understanding most of the weapons' incredible potential once it would be able to finally be sold to the public. However, although he appeared interested by her words, his expression changed once he noticed how Master Ike seemed ambitious about modifying the weapons further so that they could possibly destroy droids and, worst, actually hurt people, now serious and maybe even a little bit suspicious towards the woman's actual thoughts on the matter, especially thanks to that smile she suddenly shown to him once she mentioned the word "people".

In all honesty, hurting people should be the very first thing you should aim for a weapon's true objective, but, in his eyes, he only perceived said objective as a mean to defend yourself in times of possible danger. After all, it was the main reason behind a weapon's creation: defense, not harm.... and he really couldn't tell, at the moment, what Master Ike wanted between those two.

Most probably defense and for the greater good, really, but he still had his doubts, even if the woman was a Master Jedi and, therefore, a true servant of the Light. Curse this mistrustful nature of his!

"I see."

The Padawan's reply would solely base itself on these words, now looking ahead and starting to look around to set his eyes on the workers and the equipment they were working on, still quite impressed by such technology.

Matsu looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "You seem upset about that. I can assure yoou the goal is something useful. We are trying to regulate the ability but augmenting crystals to be able to do things takes skill and imbuing them with the force even abilities the jedi have practiced like ionize and stasis can take work. It takes testing to know how much more or less you have to put into the mix." She said it while showing one of the blasters as the lng barrel of it glowed with crystal weave throughout and they were testing it down range. The barrel whirring as it charged and fired releasing a blue blast of force energy that had one of the mando's down range twitching as it tazed her on the ground and the droid was smoking.

"It could still be taken advantage in some way or another."

Rune would reply back to Master Ike as she would try to explain that they are purposefully trying to make the guns only able to be used by people that are actually knowledgeable about the Force so that bandits, pirates, criminal organizations and so on may never be able to profit from it if they ever happen to get their hands on the weapons themselves, which the Padawan couldn't help but find this extremely doubtful. After all, criminals have always been able, in recorded history, to get their hands on what they wanted and modify them so that they could be even more deadly as they already were in the first place.

"Please do not forget that, although there is indeed a prerequisite on these weapons, people might still find a way to exploit them nonetheless. There has been many rumors about rogue Dark Jedi allying themselves with criminal organizations to help them in their causes. If they ever get their hands on those weapons..... They might use them for their own good."

Rune would then stare at the Master Jedi as she would proceed to demonstrate it's power, turning his head towards one of the training droids that were conveniently placed around the area, crossing his arms to see if the weapon was any strong. Needless to say, it was pretty powerful, gunning down the Droid in only one single shot.

"Impressing."

The Padawan would comment, hand on his chin.

SHe could agree with that, there was always a chance, the only thing that really helped was the lightside of the force. It helped somewhat and knowing how to modify the crystals was not something many could work on. It took skill which could help so she wasn't worried but the padawan brought up a good point of how and why to be prepared for things. She could work with it to try and make it safer, the remnant blade blasters they were working on modifying as well. She could likely find ways to improve those with a few of the more special tricks they had been learn. "Now what is it you would like to do with the phrik padawan, we'll get it started while the lab is running."

Ah, here finally comes his true reason behind his visit here on this planet. As the matter of the use of the phrik he asked for was brought up into the ongoing conversation between Rune and Master Ike, the Padawan would reply with a respectful nod towards the Jedi Master, his eyes serious and his stance quite straight. It was pretty strange to see a Padawan act so "Jedi"-like..... He would recognizable using such a stance and voice from miles away within a crowd of people.

"I wished to acquire phrik in the first place because I have realized, not too long ago, that, without my Lightsaber, my offensive strategies are almost reduced to nothingness. I suppose I do have my fists and the usual blaster pistol I carry on for such cases, but, to be fairly honest, I am far better off with something that could possibly protect me in a much better way than my flesh or my very poor aim."

He would smile to himself for a moment as he basically just revealed that he was a very bad marksman when it came to ranged weaponry, then continued.

"As such.... maybe I could acquire something that could be used as a weapon that is mostly used for protection towards the user and having as a primal objective to save the user's life at all costs. I was thinking that, considering I have decent hand-to-hand skills, I could maybe use gauntlets made out of phrik since it wouldn't be as complicated to hide on myself compared to shields or blades."

Ah well she could work to figure that out when they were working on some of the things. "We should be able to make something good for you to be able to use. Without a lightsaber a jedi should be able to rely on the force or their own hand to hand skills. Some I have trained and worked with found use with some blasters or dart launchers. We have made modular wrist weapons that others can use for different problems. One is a crystal shot that focuses the force energy and can impact people, or paddle beamer shots able to be used to stun large groups." They had been working to improve upon those designs and get some more out of it with the new reishi tubes.

"I see..."

Rune would be genuinely interested by all of the weapons that he seemed to be offered with, but there was still one main problem behind all of these: they were all based on shooting something out of them, which was probably his worst skill of all. Once, he tried shooting a small iron can with a blaster just for fun a year after he has been delivered out of his shackles from the criminal that kept him as a slave along with his father, and he has never been able to actually get the can right.

As if, he never actually got the can. He really never did. Every time he would shoot the blaster, it would either go too far up or too far to the left or to the right, making him miss the shot completely. Even if it was a weapon that provided him no recoil unlike some heavy blasters, it was still very hard for him to shoot right.

As such, he would ask.

"Is there a weapon in your inventory that you could give me that wouldn't force me to shoot with it?"

He precised this time around, feeling that his idea of phrik gauntlets seemed to be a little impossible now that he was given other choices instead.

Matsu looked at hime. "There are a couple of things, we have blades and blasters as well as a couple of other things." She was moving and lookin through everything there while tapping her chin. "Lets see we have a ballistic combat knife, there is the new omnibreaker from the mandalorian clan we employ and a couple other pieces of blades. What kind of secondary weapon did you have in mind? We can make just about anything?" Matsu stayed there looking at the different things while she checked the weaves they were looming into some of te armor and equipment.

"Like I said earlier, maybe gauntlets, or at the least weapons that ressemble gauntlets would fit the deal for me. Well, at least better than how blades would."

Rune would precise the matter yet again towards the Master Jedi, slightly surprised by how his last suggestion seemed to have been ignored all this time. Maybe it was because such weaponry wasn't being produced yet? Maybe. If it really does not exist yet, however, he might as well take an Omnibreaker instead, but something that he is able to both wear and use as weapons was what he had in mind before he actually came here, because, if he uses such weaponry, he wouldn't be able to lose it in battle very easily without being dismembered or anything close to that.

As he told the Master Jedi about his suggestion once again, he would take a look at the armor and equipment that were pretty much everywhere around him with slight interest, his hand on his chin. Most of these armors looked very interesting, but.... in the end, he might as well keep his Jedi garments. After all, armor was prohibitive when it comes to his use of the Fourth Form of lightsaber combat, seeing as it will impede his speed quite a lot.

But he wouldn't say no to a set of armor that could still give him great mobility, however, as he knew too well that Jedi garments are not very protective at all.

Matsu looked at him and smiled though. "I mean more how do yu want them to look, we have gloves and gauntlets but they are very simple in looks. If you want them a different way then that I need to know before we start weaving the phrik into them for protection." THere was a look on her face though while moving over towards the spindle while the machines were working with the phrik to crush and refine it, slowly mixing it with a few other metals to gets it look while the mechanical sheel was going intertwining the metal and cooling it to make weapon and armor weaves they could put into anything.

Ah, so she hasn't forgotten about the whole gauntlets deal, Rune's thoughts would mentally say to itself. Good, good.... The fact that he had been suddenly getting worried about that matter was surprising, to say the least, maybe even slightly embarrassing now that he pretty much only shown that he had not understood what the Master Jedi really meant in her words.

But now, the gloves....

So now he had to think about what they should look like. Well, this was relatively simple to figure out... Although he did not really minded any sort of design at all, to be carefully honest, the main objectif behind those gloves is to provide him protection even while he is not wielding his lightsaber. Therefore, they should be hidden, or at least well-covered by something while he is wielding them.

Hm....

"We could use a design that is reminiscent of your typical set of gloves that is usually covering the hands of any civilian in the streets of a city. Since I believe that wearing them under my sleeves is a better idea to hide them correctly and use them as a means for surprise if I ever lose my weapon, maybe they shouldn't appear too long, or too big."

He explained in his typical engineer-esque method of speech, analyzing every possible nook and cranny that the set of gloves could offer in their use. Therefore, in a means to know further on their design, he would ask.

"Pardon me if I am not too knowledgeable on such weaponry, so, allow me to ask: when you integrate phrik within your weapons, does the material need a generator to allow it to function correctly? If there is, it might be better to put it at the end of the gloves, where no one could really see it too easily."

A generator? She looked at him keeping her face passive but was fighting. Was he planning to make these power gloves? Electrified for shocking others in combat? There shouldn't be a need for a power generator otherwise. Or some of the more exotic styled. "No when the weave is there, it is woven into the gloves during their construction and works with them. Only if you want other things like jolt discharges on them when you strike someone would they need a power generator. Wrist and palm weapons are a maybe but some of them are simple mechanisms using coil and magnets."

"Ah, I see, I see."

Rune would gulp, feeling a little bit embarrassed now that it seemed that he had been actually completely wrong when it comes to how to insert phrik within a weapon or how to create a phrik weapon to begin with. Maybe that is what happens when you have a lack of knowledge on something in particular.... In fact, he couldn't help but feel as if he had said the most idiotic thing he could had ever said in his lifetime.

"P-Pardon me for my lack of weapon knowledge yet again, Master Ike, I should've kept my lips sealed. I-In any cases, well, no, I do not really see the point of having such a dangerous function to begin with, so.... L-L-Let's just keep it simple!"

He would leave out a sigh, then look down, having noticed that his voice was now actually stuttering from the sheer previous embarrassment he was put through. Damn it, he really had to fix that immediately! Stuttering right in front of a Master Jedi.... What a fool he was!

Matsu was looking at him and gave a bow od her head to some of the things. He was getting an idea for himself now before her attention went to a couple of the things rubbing her hands together and continuing to work with the equipment. "Very well then, we have what you wish to do with it, now all that will be left is to work on fitting them and getting them for you." She was going over some of the things and the machines worked on pressing and weaving the pieces that they could put in and use before she was looking at the pressed pieces into the gloves as she set them out for the padawan. "There we go, these look good."
