Faction Rob from the Rich (Levantines)

Casinos, anywhere that had a gala, was what they were after. The money that was coming out to the Tingel Arm was being seen by so many different beings, those hunting this aspect of the Rim, bringing more guns to bear on the peaceful quiet that used to be here. The Levantine Sanctum and the associated beings were always on the look out for a way to not only keep their own interests hidden, they had their time in the spotlight, but also to keep it well funded. Well, better funded than it could be.

Thats why so many of them were out here today, walking the floor of the casino, he was dressed up, more like any old member of a well to do company, in this case Starchaser Enterprises, with their new advancements in starfighter racers, and apparently without any arms on him. A well timed mind trick could get his lightsaber to go just about anywhere. In his satchel were chips for the sabacc and other game tables.

In his hand, a small datapad, with an overview of the guest list for the evening, an open ended event after all

Which one seemed to be hot? Ah, this one. A nod to the redhead and a few others, he waited for himself to be dealt in, tapping a key on his datapad.

Up in orbit, Kaia Starchaser was waiting, she had a small repurposed civilian carrier, a few smaller ships aboard. Fighters, and blastboat analogs, nothing as big as even a light freighter. The goal was to be small and fast. Her larger carrier was non-descript, coming across on any IFF as Raxus Carrier 191138. What was important were the pilots inside.

In the main hangar the red light flipped to yellow. They had their orders.

Going to use Kaia as a signal for the actual heisting so that we can have the olds still play their face game

Sure, they had orders, and it all started when the light went to green. While what Aldric was calling the ‘old hands’ and what they themselves called ‘the nursing home gang,’ were schmoozing with the big to-dos in the gun running and banking worlds on the planet below, the ‘kids’ were prepping fighters and blast boats. They had a few targets, they just needed to find them. Some were heading down to the planet below, to perform… what, a robbery? Heist? Others were about to boost a ship or two in transit and move from there.

The big challenge for Aldric was remembering all the faces. Some of the nursing home gang he’d only seen a handful of times. And some were to join the ground team of kids in the heist. He didn’t want to accidentally strike at someone who was on his side.

Couldn’t these Levantines have all picked a scarf to wear?

And was this Skipray really going to hold its own if push came to shove?

The "kids" of the Levantine Sanctum were doing the muscle work in this operation ; a fact her knees were thankful for. Ibuprofen only worked so long at her age, it was bad enough the heels were already causing old joints to protest. Dressed in a pale white dress, showing just a hint of cleavage, her job was incredibly simple for the evening.

She needed to draw a decent amount of attention and be flirty enough to let Xin Boa Xin Boa slip around posing as the casino regulation guild. How was Xin going to get into restricted areas, posing as a casino official? That was also partially up to her, distracting one of them enough to pickpocket them for their keycard. There were several different ways to do this. Alcohol was going to be one of the vessels to make it happen.

Well, she hoped it was going to happen. Herself and Xin had a bet going on if she could actually pull it off. A handful of credits and pride were now on the line.

If she couldn't pull it off? There was good old fashioned drugging and a blaster, folks always cooperated with a blaster pointed at them. Delila hoped it wouldn't come to that point. They were trying to remain quiet for the evening, not draw attention to the entire operation. Made things simplier. Easier.

A nod from Coren Starchaser Coren Starchaser . The signal to start her entire plan.

Showtime.

The battle lines had been drawn. The rules of engagement set. To the victor went the spoils. How would Dells pull this off?

Of course, the true stakes where much higher than their bet. Casinos were not known for handing people over to the authorities.

If they were caught then the best they could hope for was a beating and being thrown out of an airspeeder at the city limits. Worst case they were leaving this place in small pieces.

"Brak you there?"

"Of course Mr Dalton," came a modulated response. Brak was playing with a toy that made him sound like a sakoan for playing the part of a member of the regulations guild when they intercepted any calls from the casino.

Xin got out of his taxi and headed for the entrance. Through plan A or plan B, he would arrive in a few minutes to collect a key card from Dells.

It was always nice to have a helping hand. The Levantine Sanctum was the quiet power out in the Tingel Arm. Some of its worlds were far removed from the actual map. Taking not even secondary but tertiary routes to get to. It was why they had remained so far removed even after the Gulag Plague was lifted and people had begun to travel the region again. Trailblazers, Force sensitives, and the wild folk out along the edge of the galaxy.

The challenge there? They always needed money. Trade wasn't always plentiful.

And with the kids, it allowed the people who were more… to be polite, Coren would call himself and his contemporaries 'storied', to attract attention, and be a face. Making the right business deals, showing up in the right places.

While the yutes could sneak around. Or the ones who were more capable of posing a lie could become Regulation Guild members. Coren had no such luck.

To well known as a leader of the Jedi in the Core, and his story even made its way out here, as the collapse of the Sullst based Alliance sent him to the Rim. His kids though, they were fine. As he cast the signal, the man threw a few Outer Rim Talons on the table, along with some of the other coins of the realm.

"I'd like to be dealt in."

Sabacc was always fun.

While the "nursing home gang" was performing a more delicate operation robbing the casino blind, Iona and her fellow "kids" were going to be robbing the gangsters who owned the casino blind. It required less finesse and subtlety and more muscle and being quick. Iona had seen the old folks, half of them were just weeks away from having to use a walker or cane to get around.

Quick they could not be.

So here she was, helping to prep a skipray. After all, one of them would have to pilot it....which wouldn't be her. Iona was much more comfortable busting into places and creeping around. She thought the one kid...Varanin or whatever his name was would be doing the flying. She wasn't sure. Half the people present she had only met once or twice.

Hard to remember names, though she did remember faces.

Dells scowled briefly, annoyed with herself for taking this bet. It was easy to seduce Xin, there were more methods at her disposal. Now she had to create some type of illusion and pull it off successfully enough to grab this keycard. Idly, she wondered where her line was. Twenty credits and her pride of being able to make this happen weighed in the back of her mind. Oh, and the other members of the nursing home gang were relying on her efforts.

No big deal at all.

Snagging a drink, she carefully looked about for her target, slowly circling the room. Dells had already spotted him earlier ; a bored looking uugteen man, somewhere in his late twenties if she had to guess. The perfect target to play her entire rich cougar act for. A deep breath. The uugteen was working near the main entrance, ensuring only certain clients made their way in.

A sip of her drink as she sauntered up to him. Eyebrow perked, looking him up and down.

"They must only keep the good lookin' guards in this area." A flirty hand on the arm. Dells had decided to go full over-eager mode. It would either backfire or work, either way the guard would either take her to back room or try escorting her outside. More than enough time out of camera and eyesight. " They give you breaks around here?"

Delila watches his eyes sweep over her and linger and she had to resist the urge to roll her eyes. Instead she leaned in a little closer, had to sell the illusion.

"I can make time..."

Bingo.

Julius was at the bar. But he knew his strengths. There was a Security Sergeant here, and Julius was ordering a pair of Corellian whiskeys. One of the few of the 'nursing home gang' still even remotely spry (and even then only when need really called for it), he would cause a big scene if needed. Marking the sergeant talking to a sleek and barely clothed twi'lek, he scanned the grounds from the elevated almost dais the bar was up and back on, nodding as if in time to the music as he sipped a soda water.

Dressed in a fine Corellian longcoat, his first-class bloodstripes stood out in Corellian bloodsteel on his legs, and the pin on his collar proclaimed him a CorSec veteran and Green Devil commando. Both of which were technically true. Clicking his bionic arm against the bar, he sighed and... Simply watched...

He had been exactingly precise in his order insofar as vintage. Partly due to palette, partly to play the part. Why not, the house would buy eventually.

"They must only keep the good lookin' guards in this area." A flirty hand on the arm.

"Don't fall for it," Xin muttered under his breath.

The credits were not going to hurt him, but she was going to make him eat his words over and over if she pulled this off.

"I can make time..."

"Oh for kark's sake. Too easy," Xin mumbled under his breath.

He needed to waste some time. He would need that keycard before making his way through to security to conduct the review.

Xin made his way towards the bar and ordered a soft drink. If questioned, he would claim that he'd needed a refreshment after a long flight.

Everything didn't go according to her plan.

After getting the dim witted security guard alone, things progressed fine from there. Unfortunately it involved kissing the man (a horrible kisser by the way), while her hand went for his key card. Nearly having it, Mr.Security caught on.

That forced her to take evasive action. That evasive action choking the man unconscious. He wouldn't die that she knew of, and it gave her time to take his key card and any way he could communicate with the outside at large.

Then it was just a matter of locking the door and placing one of those 'do not disturb' housekeeping placards on. It would only buy so much time, the guy would eventually wake up and start screaming. Now if anyone would hear him at that point was the question.

Thumb tried to correct a bit of smeared lipstick as she approached Xin, sliding onto the barstool next to him.

Key card was procured from a sleek pocket in the side of her dress, holding the item in question between two fingers.

"He was a horrible kisser."

Delila got the attention of the bartender.

"Whisky on the rocks please."

The team he found himself around was always interesting. The Old Folks Home of the galaxy found themselves removed from the Core, and that was a good thing. Coren had lived that life, and lived it well. He didn’t want part of it any longer. But protecting worlds that were removed? That he could do.

And gambling a bit at sabacc? Even easier.

Placing a few credits down for his buy in, he waited for the cards to be dealt. As one of the Mirialan server walked by, he helped himself to placing a drink order. He’d drink a bit and make a show of himself. He had at least one of the Jedi from the Kattada temple, who swore up and down to be there in case Coren threw his back out, ready to make a scene when Jedi Marshall and Galactic Alliance leader Coren Starchaser was seen at the table.

Giving a nod towards the bar, Coren could feel Julius in his place too. Another one to make a distraction.

Eyes over to Dells, he noticed she seemed to be happy with herself. Showtime.

As the drink was served to him, one of the Mon Calamari Jedi stepped up.

“Starchaser? Coren Starchaser? What are you doing out here? Do you know who this is?” The Mon Calamari, in street wear slapped the Mirialan on the back. “This is Jedi Master Coren Starchaser!”

Hopefully that'd be the distraction the others need.

Waiting for the signal. It was boring. But Aldric was the Prince of a world. He was so used to waiting. He had a whole sibling ahead of him in line for the Throne. Not that he really wanted it, he wasn’t sure what he wanted anymore. Life out here in the Sanctum? It moved differently. Gave him a new approach. The Royal knew he could help Eshan in other ways. But currently, his goal was to prove himself to some of these old hands in the galaxy.

The Skipray that they were using was being piloted by a droid. At least for the initial descent. It was the fastest way to get to the ships that were going to be leaving the planet below. Calculating at speeds that rivaled Jedi, was what he understood about this pilot droid.

Maybe it was as fast as his own.

“You’re one of their family, aren’t you?” He asked Iona. He knew that he ran into her on what. Lianna? Along with Dante, where was he anyhow?

Light stayed yellow. But he could feel it ready to turn green and the ship ready to launch.
