ROCHE - THE BIG ONE

I'm...behind on this. However, I second Avicus' suggestion on sabotaging the fighter production facility. That all being said, have we determined specifically what each participant intends to do, or are we just going to wing it? I'll admit a bunch of people randomly doing a bunch of stuff is, undoubtedly, interesting. Though the lack of organization probably won't lend itself towards success.

Just a suggestion though. So long as we identify key people to lead specific elements of the operation (along with people to support them), we should be good to go. We'd also need at least some amount of people on hand to handle 'surprises'...which really anyone can do in conjunction with another objective.

So...sabotaging fighter production, defending the generator tech, securing the vault, and generally securing the system (which comes mostly from assisting the Sith-aligned Verpine faction in seizing power over their misguided brethren) we should be pretty well covered. If we don't have enough people to cover all of that, then I suppose we'll have to settle for partial success. If everything I just posted has been done elsewhere, just...ignore everything I said and point me in the right direction <.<

BTW Im putting my name out as grunt, if some of our more tactical Sith has some grand plan in the works and requires a grunt somewhere the scheme of things.

Point me where.

Instead of making assignments, let's talk about strategic priorities. My preferred priority is the defense of the Sith stronghold, the generator research asteroid. If we keep that generator, good things happen. My other preferred priority is the starship/capital ship side of things, which has the most potential to screw over everyone. I'm not worried at all about personal engagements on the various asteroids -- we can handle them.

Let's see, who's going to be where...

Fighter factory: @[member="Avicus DuSang"] and @[member="Lord Ashmedai"]
Generator facility: A major start point for us, though not a mandatory one.
Vault asteroid, surrounded by ship jammers: ME. I'll be going there in a fast frigate to fight Darron Wraith.
Capital asteroid: @[member="Natasi Fortan"], @[member="Tyrin Ardik"]; NEED PEOPLE HERE (a good spot to start, @[member="Skorn Draclau"])
Starfighter folks:
Capital ship folks: @[member="Seth Shorn"], @[member="Falon Azrakel"], @[member="Darth Voracitos"]

Also Spencer Jacobs will be battle meditating in a cloaked small transport.

Of course, sabotage should only be used in the event we're losing Roche. Nothing quite as beautiful as giving the finger before escaping into hyperspace.

However, @[member="Lord Ashmedai"] and I will gladly show the Republic and their Jedi.just how ruthless the Empire can be when we want something.

For the record the capitol asteroid is not a starting location. The generator asteroid is a starting location for the Sith. That being said, since Natasi Fortan wants to be undercover (from my understanding) I will let her be undercover IF I can find a republic agent to do likewise so there is opposition. I'll get on that in a hurry and try to get an answer for you ASAP.

skin, bone, and arrogance
Uh. I know you said there could only be one person starting on Nickel One, but that looks like Mikhail Shorn. He has apparently hacked up roughly 1/3 of the Verpine population by the looks of it. Should I still start on the asteroid? Not sure what to do now...

Two things.

One Im not really very happy with @[member="Mikhail Shorn"]'s postings. I mean come on Dude what is with the hurry and indiscriminate ignoring of Republic assets posted there specifically to guard against such an eventuality? You are supposed to be an assassin why not try playing like an assassin instead of a verpine mass murdering crazy fella? What you do in your posts gives the Republic precedence to do to us. The rest of the Sith will have to bear the brunt of your half assed posting.

Second. Im in Kirk's flagship thinking of making an effort to take down the Fighter Research facility, @[member="Natasi Fortan"] and any others looking for a start point , we can do this together like.

uh, excuse me? Pray tell what Republic assets I ignore @[member="Skorn Draclau"]. Furthermore, it is not in Mikhail's character to be an assassin. He is not so subtle nor so sane.

@[member="Mikhail Shorn"] Ah man come on read your posts, what exactly was the point of creating starting locations and setting up all these zones? In a span of exactly two posts you were standing face to face with the Jedi Verpine contact. Which in case you didnt notice happens to be the primary objective of the entire roleplay? If you kill him then what?

The Roleplay ends.

Also you ignored the presence of the fox type Republican Assasssin and the fact that they posted the Republic sympathiser's location as in some sort of conference room and not the Garden Dome. You know what that comes off as? That you dont read any posts except your own? Which is not roleplaying...it is playing with yourself.

So you dont think there is nothing wrong with this? Now look what is happening on Nickel One. Sith spawning out of thin air, Jedi spawning out the thin air, snarky OOC comments suddenly springing up. The exact same poodoo that made takeovers a nightmare for a lot of people. Do you not feel even for a second that maybe you should be trying to write this in the way of a cool story instead of trying your best to end things as fast as possible?

And I can understand not wanting to abide by stealth then how about not picking a target which was intended to be taken over with as little damage as possible?

Read my posts from the beginning, then read everyone else around me who is posting. I started off with the delegation to Nickel One. Ardak seemed to be with the verpine, however Jesta apparently was with the real verpine. In the space of two posts I was in fact face to face with a decoy representative, I see no problem with this as I hadn't intended on killing him so easily if he had been the real representative.

Furthermore, the roleplay does not end if the verpine dies, it merely means the Sith win an objective, of which there are several.

The conference room is inside the garden dome. Jesta never tagged me or his locations in his posts until several posts later so I was unaware of what he was doing however I amended my posts and played it as it lay.

The jedi are spawning out of thin air, so are Sith. Do not presume to lay their lack of respect for the rules at my feet.

Believe it or not I am actually trying to write a cool story and not end it as fast as possible, but hey if you weren't pretending you knew everything that went on in my brain and what my OOC plans were then you maybe you would have asked politely instead of accusing me with a multitude of baseless assumptions.

No, because that would not fit with the character.

Your lack of faith is disturbing.
