Rock 'em, Sock 'em [Rebel raid of Haor Chall Engineering]

Mrrew was only glad he was able to get into the emergency exit he'd saw, before another set of alarms began to blare through the factory. He could hear locks clicking on the emergency door behind him. Fantastic, they put the factory on lockdown. He'd been expecting a squad of marines to be able to strike the factory once he got in, and secured the defences. He didn't expect to be trapped in. And who the feth knows what kind of guards they had in here... The Togorian frowned, lifting his readied shattergun to blast through anyone and anything that came near. The weapon could fling shrapnel strong enough to pierce most armors- he wasn't worried about droid guards, or troopers. He just hoped there wasn't any fething force-users about. They always somehow managed to appear when everything was going just great. Mrrew slowly moved through the various corridors that led from the emergency exit of the factory, taking care not to be seen by any CTTV cameras that might be in the halls. Any that he could actually see, anyway. Now... he'd just have to find something to blow up. A power generator would be good. Or a control room. And, preferably, one that wasn't guarded by some giant aquatic alien covered in parasitic creastaceans. Not that anything like that existed, or anything.

Sannika Brynn

Let me tell you about a Rebellion...
"Copy copy, Rogue Lead." Rogue 2 dipped her Adril-class starfighter's nose and took the plunge, eyes widening as she saw the plumes of smoke billowing behind SAM rockets, two of them seeking her vessel. "You never write or call..." she cracked in a quivering voice, trying to ease her own anxiety as her life was now truly in danger. Screaming towards the main facilities, Sannika wondered if the Republic had yet noticed the cruiser orbiting their world. Perhaps they would pin all the chaos on the Mandos. The Rebels needed to take their shots and roll out quickly before this place became ground zero for a Republic-Mandalorian-Confederacy showdown.

Lasers blazing, Sannika removed a few missile turrets from the picture on her way down to the power generator, all too aware that she was being tailed by a pair of seeker missiles. Even the beautifully designed hull of her Adril craft began to rattle as its speed continued to increase, shooting towards the factory power generators. She flicked a switch on her yoke three consecutive times, jettisoning chaff to divert the SAM projectiles.

Looking over her shoulder, Rogue 2 eyed the squadron of CIS vultures and foreign fighters that her leader had instructed her to not engage. This was not the smalltime raid everyone had been expecting. What could possibly be down there that the Mandos would have cause to appear?

A beep on his wrist mounted datapad informed Hunter that the mission had been aborted. Which made sense sense the factory was locking down. All doors would be locked, and anyone trying to leave would arouse suspicion. But Hunter had to take that chance. As he walked with the group of people that were making their way to the evacuation zone, He noticed an emergency exit down the east corridor.

He left the group and picked up his pace as he headed for the door. He wasn't surprised when he found that it was locked, and no doubt surveillance had already picked him up. It would only be a matter of time before guards were on him.

He worked fast. His fingers tapping on his datapad as they opened macros and software to bypass the electronic lock.
Shouts from down the hall alerted Hunter that the guards were already aware of his escape attempt. This would be close.
Finally the screen flashed with the override code and the door opened. Hunter didn't eve wait for the door to open completely before he ran out of it. He heard the sounds of blasterfire impact the wall and door as he fled.

He didn't stop running until he was clear of the compound. At which point he keyed in his datapad for his extraction. He made for the extraction point and arrived just as the gunship was touching down. He leaped into the side door, and the gunship immediately made for orbit.
The ship rocked with a few sustained hits from anti-air fire, but made it to orbit. The pilot was skilled and deftly evaded incoming fighters and before long, the stars stretched and they were in hyperspace.

Hunter was not sure what had happened. The mission was blown, but his identity was still intact. Any inquiry to the man that escaped would only lead others to a dead end by the name of Jebediah Larson.

(OOC: Exit thread)

Flying across the sky, Anti-air missiles fired up. At first there were the few types that came straight for the ship I piloted. Even as I preformed a Barrel roll. Moving out of the way of shots fired up as well as the rockets. But I had a feeling that I was in more danger than what was present. Shifting around the joysticks to literally spin me and then point straight down, I looked up into the mirror that was situated in the cockpit. looking behind me to see four of the following forms of Missiles. I shook my head. Blaster shots pinged off of the shields that I had on the ship for a second as I plummeted down towards the ground. Zooming I then pulled up fast on the sticks in my hands. Letting the one of the closer rockest slam into the ground behind me. The other three followed as I swerved in and out of the buildings and with a hard right turn it slammed into another wall as I rose up into the air preforming another barrel roll to tighten it down to literally turning on an axis as the two others tried to circle me and slam into one another blowing up in the air.

"Good job guys, Make sure to keep moving. A slow man is a dead man." Turning on my guns I fired on the AA platforms, using my Light energy Torpedoes to hit at the base of the platform to destroy it from the ground up. Zooming away from the scene of the fight and flew up and away to turn around for a second run. "Feel free to run a second time, Demon Blade is going in."

Sannika Brynn

Let me tell you about a Rebellion...
Sannika held course and shunted out four concussion missiles--half her arsenal--at the factory's main power generator. Straining against the g-forces as her craft descended faster and faster, the novice pilot pulled her yoke with all her might and brought the Adril-class fighter out of its nosedive. A ball of fire and a balloon of smoke enveloped her fighter as she pulled through the explosion that ensued. Palms sweating, she maintained her desperate grip on the controls as alarms rang inside her cockpit. "I'mnotdead I'mnotdead I'mnotdead!"

The starfighter bucked and heaved, but it held together and launched up into the sky like it had been released from a slingshot. "Taking evasive maneuvers, Rogue Lead! See everyone back home!" she reported over the comms.

The mission was over on Rogue Two's part. Afterburners churning at full power, the contrails of Sannika's ship gradually faded as she exited the atmosphere and punched in for the secret Rebel base.
