Rocks All Day, Dance All Nightside (Lexa)

Malachite could barely stop himself from hopping up and down. He and Lexa were going to the Nightside of Ryloth, going to run through the wilderness like idiots, and the blonde fox had a secret agenda: He was going to jump into every single body of water that he saw. Lake? Yes. River? Hell yeah! Pond? Screw the fishes!
Incidentally, he had not shared this particular plan with Lexa. She probably would've just stated how cute it would look. Instead, he was enjoying her using his shoulder as a pillow. She felt nice.

Lexa mumbled softly in her sleep. She was in the middle of a dream that involved a talking Bantha and a nameless hot guy. As she was getting ready to make out with said hot guy, he morphed into her mirror image. It was so sudden that Lexa shot straight up, her eyes wide open.
"O-okay...... No more cocoa before sleeping...."
She said groggily, rubbing her eyes.

Malachite smiled at Lexa as she woke up. She was so cute when she was asleep, with all the mumbling and grabbing. His tails wagged around a little bit while he looked at her. She still looked a little tired, but the comment about the cocoa made him think it was just from whatever dream she'd had.
"Sleep well, Lexa? Apparently my shoulder is a good pillow."

"Soft 'n fluffy. How long was I out?"
Lexa replied as she began to look out the window. From where they were, it looked like she'd been asleep for the whole trip since Ryloth was in view. Maybe getting stabbed back on Nar Shaddaa had taken more of a toll on her than she realized.

Malachite looked out the window, his tails wagging at the prospect of being on the ground soon. Not that he didn't like space travel, but Lexa had been asleep most of the ride, and however much he liked her after the last couple of days, he was feeling a tiny bit bored and lonely right now.
"You were out for almost the whole ride. But look..."
He dropped an arm around her and squeezed gently as he pointed out the window. Two or three of the canyon-cities that the Twi'leks so loved to inhabit were visible.
"I love seeing the cities on the way in."

Lexa leaned closer to the window to get a better view of the cities. They got a little bit bigger every time they passed one, the ship slowly descending into the atmosphere while still making it's way to the planet's dark side.
"I've never been here before. If I'd had known it was this cool, I would've come ages ago!"
She was aware of Malachite's arm now draped around her. It didn't make her uncomfortable or anything. It was just... Strange.

Malachite looked out the window, his tails wagging harder when he saw birds... They looked yummy. He took his arm from around Lexa to point at them, wide-eyed.
"Birds! I wish I could chase them around until they gave up... And then I'd eat 'em! Yum."
He looked at her with a huge grin on his face, sort of half-frozen in the position he was in. Birds!

Lexa rolled her eyes, grinning.
"Remind me to barricade myself somewhere the next time you're hungry and there's no food around."
It was already getting darker. She could practically feel the temperature dropping outside. It made her get goosebumps just thinking about it.

"I don't really eat people... But, birds! Rarf!"
Malachite's tails still wagged as the weather got colder, and he grinned even wider. They were almost there! He felt the ship land, and got up to go get Silverback out of the hangar space it was in. Sure, an airspeeder might not have been the best mode of transportation through the forest, but he wasn't about to leave it.
"I dunno what to do with my speeder, Lexa... The forest is too much to take it through, but I can't leave it here..."
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

Lexa contemplated this for a moment.
"Maybe we could just use it in the city, and huff it in the woods? That way we can have more fun exploring the uncivilized parts."
Walking through cold, glowing wilds sounded like more fun than just hanging around in a city, anyway.

Malachite hadn't thought of the fact that their transport was landing in a city. He left the speeder in the spaceport's parking lot, pocketed the keys, and grinned at Lexa as he gestured towards the jungle.
"Okay, I'm good... Let's explore, Lexa. Just gotta not eat mushrooms."
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

"........... RACE YA!!!"
Lexa was suddenly no longer beside Malachite. She was sprinting toward the jungle with the Force aiding her feet. If anything could get this ball rolling, it was a race!
[member="Malachite the Shoki"]

"Race... me...?"
Malachite took a moment to stand there, dumbfounded, before jumping forward with all the force (and Force) he could muster. He ended up just behind Lexa, close enough to reach out and grab her. He didn't. Instead, he concentrated on coiling himself up to jump forward again, happily spinning through the air.
"This is fun. I love racing."
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

Lexa pushed even harder with the Force, pulling ahead of the now-flying Fox-man. The trees were going by so blindingly fast that it looked more like she was going through hyperspace. Finally, she reached a cave-like area with a pool of water inside. She smacked the rock of the outer wall, coming to a stop but not before the rock cracked from the impact."
" I WIN!!!"
[member="Malachite the Shoki"]

The first thing Malachite noticed was a rock of the cave they were running to cracking. The second thing was the pool inside. The blonde fox only bothered to take off his jacket and shirt before leaping into the surprisingly deep water. He grinned at Lexa and relaxed as his body heated up all the water, up to his furry chest.
"Rarf! Can't believe we found a pool this fast. And now it's so warm..."
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

Lexa shook her head, chuckling.
"Should've known you'd be the first one in."
She looked down at Malachite from where she stood, thinking for a moment. Well, she couldn't exactly just strip naked and get in with him. That would be extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Her only other alternative was her underwear. But even that would still be awkward! She did a mental sigh before walking out of Machi's sight. She quickly took off her clothing and folded them next to the cave entrance. When she came back, she was in nothing but a bra and panties.
"U-uuhh.... Could you maybe not look until I'm in the water?"
[member="Malachite the Shoki"]

"I did say I wouldn't peek, right?"
Malachite smiled warmly and closed his eyes as he laid back and let the warm water melt his hair out of the semi-artificial hairstyle he usually kept it in. This way, it fell down a little past his jaw and moved around in the slight breeze that blew through the cave. His tails spread out through the water and fluffed up a bit, trapping water. His pants still felt like they were wet, but it would be easy enough to steam off the water later. He took off his boots and dropped them where his jacket and shirt were.
"Just tell me when I can open again, huh?"
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

Lexa eased into the water, verbally expressing the relaxation of the warmth. It was a bit deeper for her than it was for Malachite, so much so that if she wanted to touch the bottom she had to look up at the cave roof and let the water lap at her earlobes. She slowly swam out to him.
"You can open your eyes. I'm surprised your tails haven't made you start sinking. They get really fat when they're wet!"
[member="Malachite the Shoki"]

Malachite opened his eyes and grinned at Lexa, wagging his tails around enough to make a small wave under him. Sure, they felt wet, but he wasn't being dragged down much. Their waves kept him up, or something. He managed to keep his shoulders above the water that way.
"Well, they might be heavy, but they're strong. And there's a bunch... I could probably keep both of us up with 'em."
Nine tails flapping around is a lot.
[member="Lexa Kimene"]

It did seem a bit easier to stay afloat when Machi wagged his tails. Lexa smiled at him.
"I sure hope you don't have a bad wet-fox smell later."
She joked. Then, she went under the water to see if there was something interesting on the bottom of the pool.
