Lexa let Malachite pick her up. She shifted her arms and legs so that she easily transitioned to his back.​

She said next to his ear. She even made a whistling sound.​

Malachite grabbed Lexa's legs and held onto them, so she was riding piggyback. He turned his head so he could kiss her on the corner of the mouth, and he began walking, barely even noticing the extra weight on his back. It felt nice carrying her around, and her arms were tickling the fur on his shoulders.​

"So, where are we going, miss fox-jockey?"​

He stuck his tongue out at her and kept walking.​

"Hmmm... Well, we could always see just how tall these trees get. Or we could look for a waterfall. I bet the waterfalls are really pretty here."​

Lexa mused on Malachite's back. She felt a lot taller on his back. So this was what it was like to look down at people.​

"Waterfalls?"​

​

Malachite's tails started wagging even faster than when Lexa had kissed him before. He really was like a big puppy in a lot of ways. If she hadn't been on his back at the moment, he might have kissed her just for suggesting it. Instead he started running in some random direction, looking for a waterfall. Falling water sounded excellent.​

"Wait, how do I even tell where a waterfall is?"​

Lexa gasped and laughed a little as Malachite suddenly started running.​

"You listen! Waterfalls make a lot of noise, even if they're small."​

​

She did her best to keep her ears open, too. But his hearing was probably better than hers.​

"You make a lot of noise, too. You're not a waterfall."​

Malachite chuckled as he began looking for signs of running water. He heard something crashing through the brush... and his eyes widened as the sound of crunching plants and panting.​

"Okay, as much as I'm enjoying this trip, I'm chalking out score up to: Kisses - Two, Monsters - Two. Tied, but we're probably not winning."​

Lexa cocked a brow at the side of Malachite's head. That's when she heard the sound of something coming out of the brush. Uh-oh. Did they attract the wrong attention? Well, she wasn't going to just give up automatically. She dropped down from his back and got ready to grab her lightsaber. It came closer, and closer, AAAAAND-​

Malachite managed to hold back a whimper as he saw Lexa grab for her lightsaber, and set his hands on fire... To come face-to-face with the most adorable creature he'd ever seen. The little fuzzball yapped happily as it jumped into his arms, and then stretched out to lick Lexa's hand.​

"Well... I'm keeping this little guy."​

​

The puppy yapped again and stuck its tongue out as fire suddenly appeared all over its body. The blonde fox-man's eyes widened in amazement, and then he looked at Lexa and held up the puppy, who leapt onto her head.​

"Holy Hell, am I keeping him..."​

"FIRE-PUPPYYYYYYYYYYY!!!"​

Lexa squealed. She took the puppy off her head and squeezed it lovingly. Her face looked a little something like this: >w<​

((I am going to assume that Force-Sensitive puppies exist. This one happens to light things on fire.))​

Malachite had to hug Lexa and the puppy. There was too much cute in front of him. His tails wrapped around Lexa as he held onto them both and kissed her on the cheek.​

"So, what're we going to name him? Or her... I didn't check."​

Lexa took a moment to look the puppy in the eyes.​

"His name iiiiisss.... Teddy!"​

Teddy started licking Lexa's nose and lips. She had to gently grab his snout so she could wipe off her face.​

"Teddy, huh? While we're naming things..."​

​

Malachite kissed Lexa gently and smiled as he nuzzled her cheek.​

"You're Miss Torchy. Dunno if that name's cute enough for you."​

Teddy barked happily and attempted to paw the blonde fox for treats. He put the puppy on the ground and gave him a piece of eel jerky, which was quickly gobbled up.​
