She was never one to turn down a drink, or, more often than not him, so the Zeltron rolled a little to sit upright, taking the glass in both hands, "Thanks."
"Don't worry about it. We have issues."
It was a blatantly blunt way to put things, plain, but true. The single set of shelves in her room seemed mostly bare, filled with various pieces of technology that seemed half-finished. A tinkerer who put down her tools years ago, clearly. The drink she'd chosen at random was a faint blue colour, sure to indicate a high concentration of alcohol but Lyn downed it in one feral gulp, sighing, "I just never thought I'd be back here."
"With someone. I mean-- I've been here with people before, but--" Ah, and so she slid out of control once more. A heavy sigh worked it's way out of her chest, unable to piece together any more words for the moment. Her empty glass was cradled in her hands as she obviously expected some prompt of a refill, but instead simply extended her free, almost limp hand in his direction. Palm upwards, invitingly.
"Come here. Please." It sounded genuine, always the talker, now the one selfishly looking for a lifeline. Pink fingers remained outstretched, waiting for his reciprocation.
