Just a dude
BB jaw dropped in surprise when the vital health image of Solan morphed into the aged and injured face of his true self. None of his research on Solan had even hinted at his true state of health. BB looked with curiosity that soon turned to fear. This was the fate he was slated for, the damage he may very well inflict on himself or even worse others...
"Feth.."
The words slipped from his mouth almost on reflex and as soon as they did BB wished he could somehow retrieve them. It was not his wish to insult Solan and unable to take back what he said he lower his eyes to the ground in same of his careless remark.
Solon's words were true, he needed a guide, a teacher. Left unchecked this power inside him would grow to overcome him. So he was left with a choice, to refuse Solan's offer and risk the inevitable. Or accept his training and trust that he would not be lead astray. The choice seemed obvious to BB the more he thought about it, while one lead to assured self-destruction, the other had at least a chance of success. Taking his Shoto from his jacket pocket in a non-aggressive way he placed it on the ground before him.
"I'm not well versed in any particular skill, but if you will have me my mind is open to learning, Master."
