Detonation Timer: Each device produced includes a detonation timer, allowing those utilizing the weapon to set when the device will detonate after being fired. This is often used to time successive blasts, setting one device off before striking the target with a secondary device timed to detonate shortly after the first detonation.
Optional Guidance System: These devices can be equipped with an optional guidance system permitting an individual to guide these weapons in for a more accurate strike on a target.
Shield Penetration: Like many other disruptor based weapons, it is possible for the effects of the weapon to penetrate shields. Though it is unlikely to penetrate the more powerful shields of Vessels, it could still potentially penetrate the more commonly used personal energy shields utilized by individuals.
Indiscriminate: There is no way to prevent this weapon from killing both enemy combatants and innocent civilians. For those utilizing this weapon, they must understand that once it has been unleashed there is no way to recall the weapon, possibly leading to the death of non-combatants in the area.
The Sabnach series Disruptor Missile is in effect a smaller version of the Phlegethon series Thermonuclear Device - as such the Disruptor Missile uses a smaller warhead and casing variant of the Phlegethon. Much like other disruptor weapons, the missile is no less destructive or devastating to those that it is unleashed upon; perhaps more so due to its size and explosive power. While more likely to be unleashed on other vehicles, they can be unleashed upon formations of enemy forces, effectively clearing a location of any kind of opposition.
Those that utilize these weapons though must understand that it is an Indiscriminate weapon; in that if fired upon a target, it would kill enemy combatants and innocent non-combatants in the area all the same.
