Appearance:
Saoirse’s most recognizable feature is without a doubt her neck tattoo. It’s a large piece with intricate patterns. The tattoo is far from her only one, as she has a set on each arm, one on her upper stomach, as well as on her back. She has piercings in both her lower lip and nose.
She has long, blonde hair. Her skin tone is a light tan, though due to her race it may change to a more silver-ish hue depending on her emotional state.
Biography: Saoirse was born as the third child of her parents. To her mother’s despair, Saoirse was born on the second last day of the week, a sure bad omen. As was custom for their village under these circumstances, her parents sought out the local seer. Instead of alleviating their fears, the seer confirmed that the child would bring great misfortune and tragedy upon her family. Knowing the child would bring nothing but harm upon herself and her family, it was decided the most merciful thing to do would be to leave her alone in the woods, to the devices of mother nature. Saoirse’s parents never knew what came of her, believing the child died in the wilderness. However, she was found by a smuggler, who took her onto his ship and back to his homeplanet of Balosar. Here he handed the child over to an orphanage. It was a strict institution, but she was cared for.
Balosar was polluted, poverty-stricken and riddled with crime. Saoirse acted out against the institution she grew up in as she got older, and fell in with the wrong crowds. This became her introduction to the world of spice and other narcotics, something which she developed an unhealthy fancy for. When she became too old to live at the orphanage, Saoirse made a living by working as a bartender and doing modelling on the side. The experience gained from this was what landed her the role as manager for Club Tranquility. It had come as a surprise, but the half-Chiss, half-Balosar owner had been eager to get the matter settled before she herself left the planet.
Saoirse did not get to enjoy the revenue from Club Tranquility long, before an up-and-coming crime syndicate started threatening and blackmailing her and the club under the guise of ‘protection money’. They got as much as half of the club’s monthly income, but still they wanted more and more. After one too many short payments and a hefty dose of attitude, the syndicate moved in to take over the Club Tranquility and it’s side-business in the spice trade for themselves. The situation Saoirse finds herself in now is as a captive of the Balosar crime syndicate, being set up to be sold into slavery. Now she seeks her freedom, and ways to unlock her hidden potential.
