Private Saved from boredom [Dominic Shiro]

Neli fiddled with the flute in her hand, spinning the object in a full circle in her hands before tossing it in the air and catching it, followed immediately by playing a tune with the thing. As much as she'd like to think she was alone on her stroll in Cloud City, she was followed by her mothers droid, zepher, and three of those darn TX-1 Robots. All of them armed. Zepher strode not far from her, always prepared to take action if he saw necessary. He was a great deal more intelligent than most droids already, with his model being designed to recognize sentient behavior better and even come to predictions. They were police droids in fact, but Zepher's use by Salis, and her trust, had resulted in him in particular growing to have even greater knowledge and skill, and intelligence. But also in him being trusted enough by Salis with one of her daughters to let her take a stroll around the city while she had to deal with the factions work.

Of course, Neli wasn't fond of this. She spent most of her life so far having to deal with being around her mother or some other high authority. For one, it had a tendency to scare off most people due to her position. And even when it didn't, it was usually because the people she was around were themselves very weird. Neli wasn't like her mother at all, at least, she didn't like to think so. She liked things her mother tended to ignore until they happened. And she was far less prone to the violence her mother oh so enjoyed.

The girl sighed, glancing over her shoulder at the droid. If only she could dodge the thing long enough. Maybe she could hijack a ship or something? Run away for awhile? Go on a trip far away, all on her own. Unfortunately, while she was far from the type of fighter her mother was at her age, she had picked up on a lot of things regardless. At least, in that regard. She just had to figure out what the best choice was to escape. Zepher was smart, he probably knew she was thinking it. Though she'd only tried anything a few times. The problem was figuring out how to get away from him. On her own it wouldn't work. She had to get someone else to do something that'd make Zepher and his friends not a problem. Maybe she'd hop on board with them? Her mother didn't like her walking around unarmed, even with the droids. She had a vibro-knife in her boot. A blaster hidden in her jacket. And a lightsaber inside as well. Though, she was still working on that one. She just felt there was something more she could do with it. At the moment it wasn't very special. It had a song-steel hilt, and a stylized crossguard. The weapon was more like a fencing sword than a lightsaber. She had hoped to make the blade a certain way, but she wanted to do it without her mothers help. Right now, it was effectively just a thinner blue blade. However, because she wasn't finished, it was also more likely to fall apart. Certain pieces intentionally left not fully sealed.

That however, she hoped not to use. She wanted to get out of this by trickery, not by force. Well, at least not her own.

Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro

Ahh... Bespin... Home of the great Cloud City... And the next stop for Dominic, hoping to obtain a certain item for his latest contractor. A small little flash drive that apparently contained evidence that could see him put away for life. Dominic wouldn't normally take these kind of jobs and infact hated most of the people who had actually offered different tasks for him in the past. However, you'd be stupid to pass up a a million credits. This guy really didn't want to go in so all Dominic had to do was grab the file and get out right? Haha, if only it were that easy.

"Could you stop joking around? This is a big chance for us, we only got two of those grenades so use them wisely." The sound of Dominic's sister echoed through the comm link. "C'mon holls, you can't tell me you're not the least bit curious about this, think. What if you hit a destroyers reactor with one of these. Surely that'd wipe out the whole thing right?" Dominic wasn't taking anything seriously, as usual, And in fact seemed to be a bit more care free than he usually was.

As a result, while he turned a corner, he bumped into a child, escorted by four droids. Seemed a bit like overkill to Dom but she was probably some royal or something. "
Sorry kid. Didn't see ya there." He patted her on the head, as a sort of derogatory gesture toward her height and then continued strolling, failing to notice the fact that one of the Ion grenades attached to his belt had come loose and fallen when he had ran into that kid. "For the last time Dom, The Ion field isn't large enough to effect the whole reactor..." His sister stated with a slightly infuriated voice. Dominic however smiled and reached for one of the grenades, closing in on the building he was supposed to infiltrate. And that's when he noticed the thing wasn't there...

He turned back to see the thing at the feet of that kid.... and also noticing that it.... was armed.....

"Chit!"

The thing went off and hit one of the droids, the blast radius wasn't meant to be as big as they normally would be, due to this being an infiltration mission. The guard droids that were stationed outside of his target immediately took notice of this and promptly called for a lock down as well as back up. Well, the whole idea of stealth just got doused in gasoline, lit on fire and tramped into finite pieces. Now he was going in loud. He took the sabers off of his belt and charged straight for the front door...

And while all this was happening, some small ship entered the city landing not far from the girl and droids, perhaps something interesting would happen there....

Neli Neli

Neli was far from fully trained in the force. And her distractedness had been rewarded, by someone ramming right into her, "Ow! What the kark." she said with just a bit of anger, the guy didn't seem to have any time to sit around and apologize though Zepher was quickly already with a hand on her shoulder to move her out of the way further, apparently he'd already started moving before impact but there was only so much time to do things. A glint showed up in her eyes and she heard Zepher mutter something as they both noticed the ion grenade that Dominic Shiro Dominic Shiro had accidentally left behind, activated. The droid tried launching her out of the way, though it'd do nothing to her instead shutting him down immediately. The other three droids went into action. But, now Neli had her chance! She looked at the droids, they were less intelligent by comparison and more prone to following her orders, "Over there!" she shouted at them in whatever direction she wasn't going, the three turned to look and the child put out one massive leap practically flying down the street and then rolling and turning to the side racing down with a childish giggle.

To the docking bay! Yes, that seems right. She pulled out of her jacket a rebreather. It was funny, a trademark of her mother really. At least that's what she told her. Apparently her mother had gotten a cloned body before she married Neli's father. So Neli wasn't around to see just how often she wore one. Neli wasn't using it to hide scars though, just to try and disguise who she was. Not that it'd do much good for anyone who knew her, and if they didn't know her, it wouldn't matter would it. But maybe it would make it slightly harder for people who knew of her to identify.

When she got closer to the docks she started being more careful where she went. Taking behind any box or crate, one point slipping underneath a lift even to avoid getting seen. There were only a few ships here she could get to. Her heart was racing, she didn't actually think she'd make it this far. Sure she was hoping, and she'd planned it all out, but now she was finally here. She looked at a crew leaving one of their ships, going to join someone else who looked like they were arguing about something while the fuel was detached. She quietly rushed inside the ship, trying to look around it carefully but quickly to see where the cockpit was. However, she wasn't the only one on board.

Okami Okami

Okami was still in this ridiculously small cage, about 5ft cubed. Due to this, the larger than life wolf had to squeeze his body around to even fit into the cage, those damn smugglers or pirates... Whatever they called themselves, Okami only knew them as bastards. Eventually he heard one of them shout from the cockpit that they didn't have enough credits. For what? He wondered. Though he didn't have too much time to think about this as he noticed the cargo doors open up and he saw what looked to be some mechanical structure, likely one of those landing places all those humans use.

One of those chitheads came down to the cage and decided to use a small metal rod to poke at him. "How's the big feisty payday then?" The bloke narrowly avoided having his face clawed off when Okami took a swipe at him, growling as he pulled the paw back into the cage. The other then arrived beside his partner holding a small remote, pressing a button which activated an electroshock collar around the wolf's neck. Causing Okami to reel back in pain, all the while growing more and more distasteful of people he already considered to be scum. After a few minutes of pointless poking and shocking Okami, the pair finally decided to leave and sort out a fuel crisis.

Another few minutes passed and Okami noticed a new aroma in the air, something completely different from what he had been living with for the past few hours. He reared his head back up and spotted Neli wearing some kind of mask. Naturally he immediately became defensive, perching his head up as high as his cage would allow. Showing off his teeth and growling again. He could feel that something was different about this person, however he still wasn't taking the chance.

Neli Neli

Neli was careful getting on board, she thought maybe there were people still on. However, she did hear something. A breathing, she crouched down and peered past to see a large wolf like creature in a small cage. Although her face was mostly hidden the eyebrows and eyes were not, and those might have been seen as she made an almost pouting face in pity. And put a hand over her mouth mask, "Aw..."

She looked behind her quietly stepping closer, her hands held up as she tried to approach the giant creature. Grabbing at the mask and pulling it off to show a little bit of a smile, and concern. There was definitely fear for her too. But she was curious, she wasn't easily actually intimidated. She liked to explore, and this was just what she was doing. She tried to get closer, holding her hands up, "Hey buddy, what's up?" she asked, still assuming that even if he was an intelligent creature, he was not sentient. She wasn't familiar with his species. "Just want to say hi."

The girl swallowed and looked around, she could see the color on his neck. On the one hand, she wanted to just let him out, but if she did, what if he ate her? Or ran out alerting everyone that she was in their ship. She bit her lip glancing behind her nervously and getting closer again, hoping they were going to take awhile. "Lemme just uh...can you like." she tried to navigate to the side of the cage to see if there was any way to get at his color, her hands mostly keeping away from the massive growling creature, "Do you mind?" she prompted softly trying to get closer, holding her hands out and open to show there was nothing in them.

She was hoping she could get in closer. She knew shock collars were used often for slaves and large beasts. And that sometimes they were fitted with distance based equipment. So she hoped she could take it off before...taking off. If he looked like he'd tame down, she'd move quickly to examine it and see if it could be removed by hand, or by the vibroblade in her boot. If it couldn't she'd grumble and head quickly towards the cockpit. However, that was only if things went the way she thought they might. That was assuming he was just a normal creature, a big, fantastic looking, but normal intelligence, creature.

Okami Okami

Aw? The first thing the human would say upon seeing a caged loth-wolf, is aw?.... Well I guess he was magnificent to look at. The darker compartment of the ship slightly masked the red markings on his fur and it didn't look like nay light we're going to come on soon. As for now, all that might be visible was his eyes, teeth and a small section of his body, illuminated by what light came from the opening.

This human though seemed to be, different from the rest. Okami didn't know how exactly but he could just sense it, though that didn't stop him from growling louder as she approached, which must've been heard by that guy with the remote, as a shock was sent straight through the collar, this far stronger than the last, causing the wolf to slump against the cage. Still fully conscious, however in no fit state. He looked up once again to find the girl had her hand outstretched, as a sign of.... peace? Is that what these other sentients use?

As she got closer though, Okami again took note of the mask. He couldn't exactly tell her to remove it, so he simply reached his paw out of his cage and out it on the floor, hoping for this girl to come closer before trying to knock it off. Masks didn't exactly sit well with him. Other than that though, she didn't seem to be all that distrust worthy, stopping the growling as he reached out.

Neli Neli

Neli approached carefully, mask off, and gritted her teeth as she saw the wolf get shocked from the growl he made. He stopped growling and seemed to be letting her take a look at it. She spoke quietly, "Just gonna, take this off if you don't mind. Don't need ya dying while I'm trying to escape do I?" she said with a little bit of a smile, moving very slowly, and looking at his face occasionally to see if he was going to growl a warning at her again and make her back off. She tried to reach in and look closely at the collar. It should be like normal, if you knew where to grab, you could pull it away from the neck and prevent it from actually delivering a shock while you worked on the lock. The lock was gonna be difficult, she breathed out, she was probably not gonna be able to get this off easily without the controls.

She glanced at the dog and swallowed. But if she just took off with the ship, he might get shocked to death. And if she looked like she was going to stab him, he might bite her whole freaking arm off. She took in a deep breath, she brought her hand opposite his hand and pushed it across her forehead, and in one swift movement would try and pull the vibro blade from her bought and cut the collar off before leaping backwards and letting go.

However, that was only what she was going to do, if he even let her get that far. She was still careful, even if not as much as a person should be around something that massive. But she was also not going to give up easily. Just...be careful. Move slowly if he growls. Don't do anything threatening. Speak softly. Those were the things she thought she should do. The only things she was truly aware of.

Okami Okami

Okami was hesitant to even allow the kid near him, though at this point, he didn't have much of a choice. After all, he was in a pretty small cage. He noticed the kid stretch her hand out reaching for the collar? If she could remove it then he had no reason not to let her try. She seemed quite soft, not only in her movements but also her voice, did she believe Okami to have the intellect of a rancor? Regardless of that little thought Okami moved his head along the bars of his cage in order to bring it the collar close to her hand. Everything seemed to be going well, until the girl pulled out some blade.

Okami's first thought was simply to recoil and growl once again, which he did almost immediately after witnessing the blade though after a few seconds, he calmed himself and thought: What were his options here? Let the girl bring a knife close to the wolf's jugular, and hope she wouldn't cut into him... Or... Stay where he was and be sold off to someone who'll likely chain him in a yard of some kind...

As you would expect, Okami chose the former, and lowered his head back down and brought the collar back into the reach of Neli...

Neli Neli

There was a sigh of relief when the wolf didn't try and just remove her arm when she pulled out the knife. Her eyes still showed concern, especially when she pulled a little on the collar to put her other arm in, leaving her essentially defenseless except by the bars between them, which do nothing if you go through them. However, he ended up moving closer to let her, that was a sign of intelligence. But canines were intelligent creatures after all weren't they? It still hadn't quite clicked just what Okami Okami was. She put the knife underneath the collar and tugged bringing the collar with her as she backed off and smiled with glee at the achievement, holding knife and collar in the air and nearly letting out a yip of joy before she shut her mouth. She tucked the knife back into her boot and tossed the collar aside, glancing at the door to see if anyone was coming through.

She stepped a little closer to the bars, again. What a massive wolf it was. It would be better if she could see it in the light, but she didn't have quite the time. There were three emotions in particular she felt, a sense of awe, the natural, or perhaps not so natural, desire to cuddle the massive furry creature, and also a sense of pity. But she didn't have all that much time left. She didn't know how much longer they would haggle over what they were really going to pay for the fuel. And sooner or later they were going to board. "Time to get out of here." she said with a smile, tapping a finger on one of the bars and getting ready to head to find the cockpit again.

The collar was off.... Finally Okami's neck muscles could expand to as much as he desired, but one thing still stood out to him. The damn cage was still locked. Okami took a deep breathe which could've been interpreted as a simple sigh, and took to attempting to gnaw the lock off of his cage, which was going about as well as you'd expect. Horribly.

He had managed to put a few dents in the lock itself, however there's only so much that keratin can do against durasteel...
He turned to Neli and gave a quick notion toward the lock with his head, attempting to get her to notice that he could not open it alone, hoping she had some kind of way to unlock it, or maybe even cut through it entirely.

Neli Neli

Neli smiled at the freedom of the neck that was returned. However, he seemed to have an extra interest that he also wanted attented to right now as well. A big chomp on the lock being a clear indicator followed by gesturing towards it with his head. He was asking to be let out? She bit her lip uncertainly, did she have time.

"Agh, screw it." She muttered flipping a look over her back as she looked over the lock and cracked her neck, there wasn't really anywhere for him to go, so she was going to have to do this carefully. The vibroblade would cause too many sparks and potentially shatter something, and a blaster would be too noisy, and trying to get through by trickery would take too long, so instead she pulled out the lightsaber. Not something she used often outside of practicing with it, which she still only did occasionally if her mother wasn't making her, she stepped back turning it on revealing the thin blue blade. Then biting her lip slowly moving the blade closer and then through the lock until it had sliced completely through.

She deactivated the weapon with a smile, hiding it back in her jacket. And used a bit of her jacket to slightly push the gate ajar so that it didn't end up cooling and becoming even more frustrating to take apart.

Okami Okami

Okami watched as the girl pulled out a saber which cut through the lock like a hot knife through butter. The door creaked open slightly and without a second thought, Okami pushed the door open with his head before jumping on top of the girl, pinning her down with one paw on her chest. Safe to say, despite the favors she had just done for Okami, he was still just a little weary of her. He lent down to her face almost bringing the two nose to nose. While maintaining eye contact, he gave a quick little growl, before sniffing her, Immediately learning her scent, and gaining a rough idea of her intentions. Believe it or not, you could tell a lot from a persons smell.

Okami released some pressure from his paw, after all if he wasn't quite suffocating her, he would likely break one of her ribs if he wasn't careful. A few seconds of silence passed between them until one of those people from before spoke up and stated "Finally! Was it really that much to ask for a little discount?" They would likely be back inside in a matter of minutes, as a result of this sudden revelation, Okami took his paw off of Neli completely and while trying to use as little pressure as possible, bit her jacket and tugged her up onto her feet, before taking a seat infront of her. If she were to hit the wolf now then he would probably deserve it, but as she could probably realize, they were in fact running out of time.

Neli Neli

In a mere moment she let out an "Oof" as she was on the ground and felt it fairly hard to breath. She looked up wide-eyed but silent, her heart beating faster as she looked at the massive being that stood, literally on her, who could kill her just by a little bit more pressure...or bitting her head off. She hadn't quite recognized just how much she could have been afraid moments before until now as she looked potential death in the face, "Please don't." she managed in a gasp, it wasn't like it was easy to breath, or heck even move at this point. She didn't even dare to try and stop him from sniffing her, just staring and waiting to for his decision. Which hopefully did not involve a meal.

She felt a little bit of loosening from the paw and pulled in as much of a lungful of air as she could. Not realizing that she immediately held that breath. Still waiting quietly. She jerked her head behind her as she somewhat heard a relief of a matter. And that meant an entire extra problem. Even if she wasn't dead by the loth-wolf, she might be caught or killed by those morons. She let out a breath of relief as Okami Okami let her up and even pulled her to her feet by her jacket. She felt her heart still racing and clutched her chest, "Thanks." she said quietly.

She almost felt like slapping him, but that was NOT a good idea when if Okami felt like slapping back she'd probably end up halfway in a wall. She rushed past him slamming into a wall on the way out and down the hall, looking through each door until she made it to the cockpit, she hesitated at the controls. Her heart was still racing, not just from the potential near death experience, at least in her eyes, but because this might be her only chance, and she was so close.
"Time to go." she said breathing in and taking the controls. The sound of the ship fully starting and the entrance shutting almost certainly alerted people, and within moments the ship had already lifted and started rushing out of the docking bay nearly scraping another ship that was preparing for exit, the sound of a cheer could be heard from her as they took off. Hopefully, she could get them into hyperdrive and space before they were intercepted, she was going as fast as she could.

The human seemed grateful that Okami hadn't gnawed her face off, but it looks as though she still hadn't caught on to his sentience. Nonetheless, she quickly scampered off, looking for the cockpit. Was she planning to just steal the ship? A bold move for one so young. Though judging from her equipment, it seemed that she might have already done something along these lines in the past anyway. He walked toward the exit ramp, starring out into the docking bay, and managing to catch a glance at the pair who had kidnapped him in the first place.

Okami felt just a little hostility toward the two so to settle the score, he pulled a crate over to the exit and as the ship took off, he threw the crate at the two morons, only managing to hit one though. The other almost immediately took to pulling out a pistol and attempting to shoot the thing down... Let's be honest though, the likelyhood of that happening is like watching a porg try to fight one of those large metal legged things. The doors began to close around Okami, prompting him to head back inside. The corridors of the ship weren't exactly big but they we're enough to fit Okami while he was hunched over. Eventually he came to the bridge along with Neli and simply watched her fly.

Thinking on this further, he hadn't anywhere to strap himself into, so any extravagant flying was bound to send him hurtling....

Neli Neli

There wasn't much she could do about the wolf, she looked at him as he hunched near the bridge, gritting her teeth as they flew out the ends. It took only moments before they were being followed, she had the ship going full throttle attempting to get out of the planets atmosphere and gravity as soon as possible.

"You are piloting a stolen piece starship. Land now before we take action." she heard through the comms system contacting them as they tried to catch up. They were indeed, catching up, though she noticed the ship was fairly fast which was appreciated. A YT model, known as a good basis of light freighters. That meant it should be pretty maneuverable for its design, but she also had an unsecured occupant on board. As big as he was, she was afraid of what would happen if she did anything too drastic.

She coughed into her sleeve, stretching her throat out a bit, making her voice sound somewhat more gruff and then putting on her mask to muffle it further, "Ya need ta spek up behby ah can't 'ear ya? Mah boy sed we needed ta get fuel." she responded. There was a pause. Maybe they were trying to check? She turned off comms and let out a breath cracking her neck, "This isn't going to go well."

"This is your final warning, land the craft before we take action." She cursed to herself as they spoke again with orders. Brushing the hair from her face trying to consider what she was going to do now. There weren't many ways out of this, she lunged to the left, forcing the pilots to change directions so they didn't crash into her. And then she pulled up in an arc so that she might end up over them heading for the atmosphere. She activated the shields, hoping they could get into space and set off the hyperdrive before the guards could actually do enough damage.

Okami Okami

Okami tried as hard as he could to dig his claws into the metal floor in order to keep himself in place while the girl 'flew', if you could even call it that. He heard the voice call out over the radio telling them to land.... To which the newly anointed captain of the ship seemed to completely blow off, taking the mick by changing her voice a bit and putting on some accent. Okami didn't exactly agree with her response, and nudged her with the edge of his nose, essentially telling her to shut up.

Her responses didn't seem to entertain the damn ship behind them. This was further reinforced when the thing began firing upon the freighter, which was fun. Okami had decided that this was enough nudging the girl again and motioning towards the hperdrive controls. Shortly before having his claws dislodged by the ship shuddering from a laser bolt, sending him back down the corridor and hitting his cage from before. The ship began to crack, showing that the ship was clearly old, rusted and not fit for a fight what so ever.

Okami rose once again to his feet and ran back up the ever slanting ship as it climbed through the cloud layer. Okami could just sense the ship getting closer and closer to their sorry excuse for a cloud surfer. Okami climbed back to the cockpit and used his paw to grab the kids arm just before a missile fired from the closing ship, struck the mid section of the freighter, creating a large opening which immediately sucked the pair out into the vast reaches of the Bespin atmosphere.

Okami had lost his grip of Neli and lost track of her in general, until after a few seconds he picked up on her sounds finding her again. He channeled the energy in his body, forcing the red markings on his body to shine slightly. He then seemingly vanished before appearing underneath Neli, Barking at her, hinting for her to grab onto him. He once again channeled the energy in his body before a bright flash of light appeared around the pair, concealing them from outside vision. Eventually when the light faded though, the two we're gone.

The wolf dropped into some black realm which seemed to be surrounded by stars, He had finally made his way to the World Between Worlds... And he had brought the child with him. He waited for the kid to get off before standing up and being able to fully stretch for the first time since he was captured. The beast stood tall, with his markings now clearly visible. He then lent down to check on Neli, hoping to see that she hadn't suffered some kind of nerve damage or something.

Neli Neli

She looked at Okami Okami , if only for a momentary glance as he tried to get her to use the hyperdrive. They weren't yet in space fully, out of orbit. If she used it now, she could end up ripping them apart. Still, it showed something more than just cleverness of a normal creature. But Intelligence. There was no time to think on that now.

Within moments the ship began to fall apart, and one sudden hit found them falling through the sky. She stared at the vast expanse below her. The inevitable death below her as her heart clenched from fear. As she felt tears run to her eyes and the what have I done?! thought followed by the pained belief that she was going to die...a second time today. But this time, believing there to be no way out. A despair.

Suddenly Okami Okami was underneath her, and gave a bark...he wanted her to hold on? She grabbed on, though she wasn't really sure what she was expecting. Even having anything to hold onto other than the feeling of plummeting to a planet without ground would be better than nothing. She felt guilt here too, guilt that she might have killed this creature as well. Undeserving of it.

And then it all stopped. The sound of roaring winds past her ears, the feeling of not being able to breath. The sudden silence was...stunning. There was now an emptiness, but of a different kind. It was like they'd been put into an empty space. She let go, though she wasn't sure what to do now. Just looking at Okami Okami who seemed to be checking on her, she was stunned, her heart was only now slowing down, probably a few bruises, but for the most part, she was ok. She looked at him with surprise, and said very softly, "You...saved me." she wasn't really sure what else to say. She was just...surprised. She knew there was more to the loth-wolf now than she had originally assumed. Including intelligence. To what extent, she didn't know. But she wasn't going to make many assumptions now. Not after what had just happened. Wait, was she dead? This didn't feel like death. But how would she even know what that was like anyway.

The wolf stood over Neli, giving her a quick once over. She seemed to be ok, but, as all people are when they find themselves here of all places, she seemed totally bewildered. Which of course makes sense, after all not thirty seconds ago, they were both plummeting to an untimely demise. But now, everything was quiet, there was no one moving and there was an overwhelming sense of nothing... No matter how far you looked, almost everything was the same. A series of paths all converging on a singular centralized platform. Okami didn't really pay attention to the scenery for long though, as he still wanted to make sure that the kid he brought with him was fine. And more importantly, that she wouldn't simply lose her mind just being here.

Okami took the chance to maybe try and talk to her, though maybe he should let her wrap her head around this place first. In response to her comment though, Okami took raised his paw and placed it on her shoulder shortly before licking her face, trying to show some kind of compassion between them. Besides he couldn't just let her die, not after she let him out of the cage, and atleast she tried to get them out of there. It's the thought that counts I guess...

He led down next to her, waiting for her to do something, he couldn't exactly just leave her there, she could fall off the path and fall for all eternity or find a way out and land on Dathomir or something...

Neli Neli

Neli wasn't sure how to react. The sudden silence had really knocked a strange feeling. And the...lack of an impact of course. That, combined with the fact that even under normal circumstances this was a weird place to end up. And you get a whole tank of uncertainty. If Neli hadn't listened to some of the things her mother had taught her, she'd probably have been even worse off.

She smiled a little bit, unsure how else to react to a lick on the face. Well at least she knew they weren't enemies. He laid down. And she stayed still. Looking into the distance of nothingness around them. Unsure what to do. She waited, trying to absorb it all, let it all flow in. She sat down, looking up into the sky, and at whatever they were on, and in.

Slowly, a more calming, gentler feeling. But one that had a sense of joy with it. When she spoke, it was somewhat quiet, as if to avoid disturbing the silence, "Mom used to talk about stuff like this. At least, I think this is what she meant. That there were...world out there, things that we might never touch. " she took in a breath, letting it slowly come out, "She said, sometimes, the voice can guide an entire species in a special way."

She chewed her lip in thought, "Is that how it is with you? I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't...really think you understood me. But you can right?"

Okami Okami

Okami let out a long quiet yawn as the youngen starred off into the realm, she seemed awfully fixated on it, whereas most people who accidentally stumble in here automatically start freaking out about how they get back. Yet she appeared to be much more strong willed than most others. Okami picked up on Neli's comment about his intellect, as to whether he could or couldn't understand her. Okami shook his head, as a joke. He couldn't have answered no if he hadn't understood the question.

He stood once again and turned to one side of the path they were on, noticing more pathways beneath them, as well as something a bit more interesting. Quite some distance down, there were two people, A Human and A Twilek, running from a large cloud of blue fire, before splitting off and jumping through different portals. Of course, time had no place here, anything could happen at any moment.

He turned back to Neli and motioned with his head once again to follow, walking down one of the paths making sure Neli didn't at any point get too close to the edge. Until coming to A five way fork in the road. He lowered his hind legs and outstretched his neck, letting out a loud and echoing howl...

A few seconds passed and nothing happened, when all of a sudden, the entire structure of the place began to move... Well, I say move but in reality the whole thing was an illusion, to give to effect of the routes changing, when in reality, the portals at the edge of the road where switching location, bringing a whole new destination. He looked back toward his young adventurer friend, and tried to give a light smile. Though in truth it probably looked terrifying from her point of view. A massive wolf looming over A relatively short kid smiling.
