- Nimble Fighter: Speedy and maneuverable, the Scylla is the perfect starfighter for an agent of the Saaraishash. It can dip and dive through enemy fire and outpace most standard fighters.
- Light Weapons: Possessing only two laser cannons, the Scylla isn't designed as a combat fighter but rather a long-range interceptor used to carry out the Saaraishash' duties.
The Saaraishash, also known as the Sith Inquisition, is one of the most important institutions in the Sith Empire. Tasked with rooting out heresy and treachery, doors that would be barred against most citizens of the Empire are flung open to the authority of the Saaraishash. Whether it be corrupt bureaucrats, blasphemous Sith, or treasonous legionnaires, no one, save for the Emperor and his Shadow Hand, are above reproach.
To carry out this duty, the Saaraishash are given a light interceptor capable of achieving hyperspace travel without reliance on larger cruisers or hyperdrive rings. Though lacking in superior firepower comparable to other strikecraft its size, advanced engines, gyroscopes, and avionics more than make-up for the ship's weaponry shortcomings.
Dubbed the Scylla, the vessel was quickly produced and proliferated through the ranks of the Saaraishash as the mainstay craft of Inquisitors moving throughout the Empire and beyond.
