Second chance or Regressive action?

Vengeance smiled.

"The first step to growth is the realization you need to grow."

He dropped down into a common position for meditation and with a motion of his hand encouraged her to do the same.

"The first thing you must learn to do..............before anything else is learn to control your emotions so that they no longer control you."

He paused.

"Fear, anger, hatred, love..............the Sith teach that it is our emotions that fuel our power and the Jedi teach to suppress emotion for fear of falling to the dark side. Both are wrong. If you always suppress your emotions then they bottle up and like a primed grenade will exploded. However letting your emotions pour out of you like the waterfalls on Naboo means you are no longer in control of your own actions. Plus as it applies to the application of the Force you will tired out quickly...........in essence burn out leaving yourself vulnerable in battle."

He closed his eyes taking a deep breath or two.

"By controlling the flow of emotion you not only control it's impact on yourself put can tap into the Force for longer periods of time."

He chuckled.

"In essence Master yourself and then you can attempt to Master others."

For the first time something Zesiro said or did seemed to please Marcus. He actually smiled and said she had accomplished a first step which was knowing that she needed to grow. It was something she had been trying to accomplish and failing at miserably for a while. Leading her back in a circle to where she started. Hopefully thing wasn't going to follow that same circular path.

She watched as he sat and joined when he motion for her to sit with him. The words he spoke were educational and not anything she had heard before. Had her masters before been wrong in their beliefs? In the ways they had taught her and passed on their knowledge? Maybe that was why she seemed to be in an oroborus circle.

None of them had tried to enforce her holding back at all, but instead just letting her emotions and thoughts run rampant. Only once had she knowingly held onto her emotions and controlled them while at the same time used them to fuel her attack.

"I have found it difficult to master myself at times."

Looking away as she admitted this fault, Zesiro looked back at him when she was done.
