Secrets of the Jedi

Well, good to know we've got a professional here. It was a common understanding that professionals hired into the same job would look out for each other. Never in overly self-destructive ways mind, it was hardly sensible for a mercenary to sacrifice themselves for a fellow mercenary who they had never once met. However, where possible, it was often expected that they would come to one another's assistance. Professional courtesy. Sadly, like many out sensibilities, it was a disappearing trait and Sy' was pleasantly surprised to see a fellow with similar beliefs. "Right back at ya."

As the employer, Koran, explained the plan and timing the Chiss nodded, "Got it. Follow you, sit back until you give the signal. Then give em something to remember me by." With that, the one-armed being scrambled up the ladder and into the old Y-wing. He started the process of powering the ship up. No kidding this thing is armed. Where did that one even come from? There were certainly a large number of weaponry systems, all of which drained a frighteningly large percentage of the power output. This thing must run like a Bantha, bet it won't turn faster than the cruiser it's going to be blasting. Then again, I bet they won't suspect something of this size with so much firepower. Won't know what hit them.

Koran showed the Y-Wing to one of the men, before turning to face the other one.

"Now thats solved, follow me to my ship, and remember, stick to the plan, no improvisation unless there is no other option. I also should give you this wrist communicator, it is connected to the Y-Wing, and my one, so we can communicate that way if need be."

Koran then entered his ship and called the man inside.

YOU CAN'T KILL ME!

Nichos stared at the wrist communicator it was old tech and something he found unnecessary due to the fact that his helmet can connect easily do communication at faster rate. However Koran was the boss and he was paying big after some negotiations. "All right guys," he said stretching a bit. "Let's make some credits."

Koran started the ship up and got it into the air, then into the orbit, and finally into hyperspace as the Y-Wing followed him.

Koran was rather nervous, he wasn't worried about getting killed, he had enough faith in his lightsabers, but the information could be destroyed in the mess, if that happened all of this would be for nothing.

He knew that the odds were rather low for it to happen, and that he should have a clear and focused mind for this to work, so he decided to meditate a bit, it would take them hours to reach the cruiser, and the autopilot could easily steer the ship through hyperspace until they arrive.

He turned towards the man that was in the ship with him.

"Its going to take a few hours for us to reach the cruiser, I will go and meditate, you watch the ship. The autopilot should be able to handle it, but if there are any issues make sure to alert me. The toilet is over there in the back, and there is some drinkable water in the corner, feel free to take it if you feel thirsty."

As Koran began the lift-off procedures, Sy' fiddled with the controls and followed quickly once the other ship got airborne. He began acquainting himself with the various displays and panels. Seems alright, no problems. Left engine runs a bit hot.. Eh, it'll be fine. "Ready to go. Let's get this party started."

As the duo of ships left orbit and the nav-computers and piloting programs took over, Sy' pushed his seat back. Eyes closing, the Chiss prepped himself for a long ride. "So, let's see... One thousand to Trusk or whatever his name was. Couple hundred ought to cover the misunderstanding on Byss... There's that little issue got to take care of..." He spoke to himself, waiting for sleep or something else to take his attention.

(Apologies for the belated response)

Koran proceeded to enter his room and close the door, before sitting down and meditating.

He relaxed the best he could, and emptied his mind. He didn't care about anything, at that moment only he and the force existed. No Y-Wing, no light cruiser, no information he was after, and no ridicilously ambitious heist plans.

At that moment, he was carefree.
