Velok Brokentusk
A simple fortuneteller
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The book is structured as an item-by-item guide to poisons (ingested, inhaled, or taken on contact), venoms (injected by tooth or claw), and other excretions pertaining to each Sithspawn species found on Valrar. All were created by Taeli Raaf, Darth Arcanix, the 'Lady of Secrets.'
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
When his grandson began leading hunting expeditions to Valrar, Velok the Younger dusted off a project he'd hoped to tackle for years: an exhaustive catalogue of the poisons and venoms from
Taeli Raaf
's Sithspawn. Valrar was home to a wide variety of them. Enthusiastic Whiphid hunters provided the old alchemist with the samples he sought. He started testing and writing with a vengeance.
He also interviewed several surprisingly accommodating Spinners and Surgeons, local sapient Sithspawn who were well-versed in Sithspawn biology. Disaster struck when his grandson, Velok the Youngest, began a torrid affair with a Surgeon. Whiphids are not welcome among the Surgeons of Valrar to this day.
- Intent: Velok the Younger's latest book, and a handy list of the poisons and venoms found in
Taeli Raaf 's excellent Sithspawn that live on or around Valrar. It would rock to write a Sith poisoner and I just might.
