- DIVERSE TUTELAGE: Throughout his youth, Seren was exposed to a melting pot of Dathomirian, Mandalorian, and Sith cultures. As a result, his experience in combat and in the Force are extensive.
- HEIGHTENED SENSES: As part of his Lupine heritage, Seren enjoys heightened perception via smell, hearing, and sight.
- AFFLICTED: The means by which Seren travelled to the present affected his ability to shift into a canine form. Any attempt to do so results in excrutiating deformations that will ultimately kill him.
- SENSORY OVERLOAD: While certainly a boon, Seren's heightened senses are also a vulnerability. Extreme flashes of light, extreme or high-pitched sounds, and particularly pungent stenches have pronounced effectiveness against him.

BIOGRAPHY
Life before was...difficult.
As the offspring to the mad, Ket Van-Derveld, Seren's early life was nothing but a tale of hardship. In fact, his earliest memories were that of suffering to fulfill the "grand design" of his sire. He was battered. Broken. Pushed to limits far exceeding any that of any mere child. The only reprieve from his agony came in the form of [member="Katrine Van-Derveld"] intervening. At times, his elder sister would step in and avert the utter lunacy of their father. In light of this...Katrine became more than the young wolf's elder sister, she became his greatest friend. She became the only positive thing in his bleak world.
To say that the two were unseparable was an understatement. And therefore, when Katrine disappeared, everything Seren held dear vanished with her. Literally overnight, Seren's defender breached the fabrics of time and space in order to seek out another one of their siblings who had been lost. But Seren had never even met the sister she sought. And, for one who relied upon his protector so heavily, he was left feeling abandoned. He was left to suffer alone. As time moved ever forward, Seren delved into every tome and scrap of arcane lore he could, until a stroke of fortune fell upon his lap. He found whispers of a distant system which had a unique relationship with the flow of Time.
And thus, Seren departed for Cularin at once. The bleak present he knew and despised was promptly left behind amidst thunder and azure light. His vessel blazed a trail, not only through the asteroid belt, but backwards through the pages of history. When he resurfaced, he found himself situated within the Galaxy of today. Yet, the means by which he traversed was not as...safe...as his sibling's method. While Katrine was able to venture into the past with no adverse affects, Seren's devotion to his sibling cost him his very identity as a Lupine. He soon found that any attempt to shift would leave his body horrendously disfigured...and he knew attempting to push through the agony would rob him of his life.
Yet this was a price he was willing to pay to reunite with his sibling. And soon, he discovered where she had taken up residence in the modern age. The Southern Systems had become her home...and here, she had built a new life. Seemingly, the hunt for their eldest sibling was abandoned. And in its place, Seren found his sister in the arms of a lover, surrounded by friends and allies. It...broke him to know that he was so easily discarded. That, for all the value he placed on her, she had not reciprocated in the slightest. When he confronted her, half-hearted attempts as reunion were made by Katrine; but by then, the devotion he once held within soured into malice.
On that day, Seren broke company with his sibling and was content to write her out of his life completely. He made no attempt to exact vengeance or to make the woman suffer as he did. Rather, he attempted to find himself some semblance of purpose in this bold new Galaxy. But, for as much as he tried to leave his past behind him...Katrine was now the one unable to let go. Or, at least, her rabid followers. As the Nightmother of the Mandragora Witches, there were many underneath her guidance and leadership. And, when Katrine departed to commune with the ancestors, her months of absence gave way to fanaticism within the ranks of her people. Their desire to hear the truth of the ancestors made plain by their Nightmother drove them to pursue ways ot pulling her back from the realm of spirits.
And the easiest method required blood. Her blood - or that of someone...adjacent. Seren's decision to leave Katrine in peace ended with him being hunted across the Southern Systems by a ravenous cadre of Mandragora. And, though Katrine was literally between realities, he had no knowledge of this fact. By all accounts, it seemed as though his sibling had dispatched the hunters after him. And, by all accounts, he had every right to succumb to his malice boiling over. For months, he fought and defended himself whilst running across the stars - ultimately ceasing on Jamoura. There, amidst the sweltering heat of the jungle, he was finally wounded and almost caught by the fanatics. However. The timely intervention of the White Witch - [member="Jenmae Ophiro"] - saw the Young Wolf liberated from their machinations.
From thenceforth, his devotion was laid into far more deserving hands. And Seren burned with a hatred towards his sister which burned brighter than the hottest star. For the first time since taking his first breath, he desired to extinguish Katrine from the face of the Galaxy. Now, aided by the White Witch and empowered by his wrath, Seren sets his gaze upon the Southern Systems. It matters not how many stand between him and the Nightmother - her head will be his. Or he will surely die trying.
