Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

Matsu hadn't know how to explain the sensation, there is nothing one can say to having a wall of light pushed throughout your body and the amount of pain it can cause but she had had a saving grace. A wall of light destroyed the darkside and she wasn't any such thing, her being severed from the force a process that happened in an instant and she had felt her body falter.... Grow weak and decrepit as the force abandons it.
It had trapped her within her own body and allowed to think. The force abandoning her had not taken away her memories and memory was the key. It was why she could do what she did and how she knew a way or two to speed the process along. Taking a small shortcut but one that would allow her if anything to regain functional control of her body. Which had taken her to Ruusan and the valley.
She had been there when the jedi built the temple, collecting information and samples. Allowing herself to learn more about its properties, going to the valley she had kept her gear with a few pieces of equipment. The chill of the water brought that small connection, brought her body back to moving under its own strength as she used the taozin flesh to hide herself.
It wasn't a strong connection like she wanted, it wasn't more then a returning of her senses and the painful rush of the galaxy to her head. A small scream until she was back in her bed and making notes. The jedi had left her to be trapped and she would make sure when the time came... Well she wouldn't kill them but she didn't have to save them either.
Now she was relearning some from the silver jedi, she had reached out to Aika and the others of the order to be retrained. She could have tried to sit and stew in her own hurt pride before walking it all off. Aika she had taught and the master had worked hard, would help her hopefully and bring the pair full circle while she continued to think about Hanna and knew she had to work hard to come back and be able to help her.
