The First
The Togruta watched as [member="Aika Kawakami"] split the flying pebbles in to two groups, tumbling to a slow stop on either side of her. Despite the woman’s insistence that the technique she was demonstrating wasn’t fancy, Asaak was still beyond pleased. It seemed fundamental, what she had just watched – requiring precision, but otherwise it clicked. She could imagine twin pinions of energy escaping the Knight’s hands as she redirected the pebbles.
“Maybe not fancy, but it’ll do the job,” she said, shifting her stance and looking between the pebbles and Aika. “My turn?” she asked, flexing her fingers in anticipation. She imagined it was exactly like catching something that someone threw to you in a game only to toss it away, catching and redirecting their energy. But she couldn't prove that until she felt it herself.
