Dev Shadows of Atrisia

They seemed to have a plan now and more information about what was happening in Xam'chi, with the rebuilding itself going on was most... interesting but Junko was checking out one or two things here... going form the water gardens where she would be able to check out a few of the other things. The Keisei were different but leaving the water gardens. THey were going back through the city aand towards the main road. Junko had her supplies and after spending a couple of days here she had well gotten plenty of information.. she was able to see much much more as well as they had come to see her off. Several dozen of the Keisei and she had learned about the Gado Keisei who were their protectors and wore katanas.

They sa her off and she was in one of the transports that would take her back to the city and the airfield.. it should all be rather uneventful now when she was heading back to the city. She would need to go to the airfield as a number of the different problems were easily solved... she would still have to go about and explore a couple of the other places.. she would need to reconvene with Ioand a few others as well.. her handmaidens were mostly all awaiitng her arrival back at the palace and Jar'kai as well as Xim'chi was being rebuilt and worked on.. so the summer palace was being used she knew by the emperor for now and that was where her handmaidens were.

The return though was half the fun andonce she got back to Kansai she was able to move to the airfield with one of the airships and it was grand. Having and escort that was able to take her back and she stretched out when she was in the royal chamber before heading off to small mess that was built oto the airshi and she joined the others. It would be nice to get back to the palace and she knew there was a whole lot more... the cities were being fortified and in the mountains, in the desert... hell even in the oceans thanks to some of the underwater cities that the Hanjyo were living in and making for them... they had a massive amount of connections throughout the world.

She could see kansai's massive sea wall that was being finished up in the distance and it extended out with smaller islands that were cultivated and made. Much like the improvements on Xim'chi which was getting a similar if not larger approach. The defensive measures would serve as a massive area of islands became a small town and even one made from boats was there.. the boats connected with houses on top of them like a roaming village of the people. Underwater she knew there would be some of the cities... research bases and farms.. they could grow and develop algae and kelps for medical purposes... things o clean the waters and heal th planet.

Junko was bringing up more information on her datapad and out of Xim'chi they were getting mostly lackluster reports.. nothing was happening that was pressing and the commonwealth themselves didn't seem to be involved which largely gave them nothing. The reconstruction efforts though of the city were coming along and she could see the holographic display of how the city looked... from where it had been damaged previously to the rebuilding of the palace and the new waterways. They had more being set up now where it had flooded and were carving channels as well as hydrostatic shielding to keep predators out as sections of the oceans were being made into a defensive seawall.

That was one of the big things and theway they were making it so the city bolstered its already fairly strong economy with new foreign quarter and merchants... massive trade influx... the population wasn't going to be stacked upon each other but the new housing did allow for them to have homes and apartments within the new living modules. Everythign they did was to help bolster it and the self sustaining modules allowed them to grow their own food to sell off, create their own materials and workk towards improvement. Credits were already flowing as the people who had lived there were selling goods to the traders from villages and exchanging fruits or veggies with each other.

And that was as the airship went up the coast what she could see the massive outer areas of Xam'chi itself.. the bleached white stone that was quarried on the world and had been used for centuries on Atrisia... it was beautiful to see and when polished looked amazing in the sunlight. She knew the ancient city of Sarnoi was built entirely of it and the city had as far as she knew lasted tens of thousands of years or longer... they still were not certain and even the priestesses and priests who resided here didn't know how long the city had sat there. Legends of ancient Atrisia and civilizations that were millions of years old though were fun to play around with.

Theories though could go a long way and she could see the outer walls as the ward roids and orchid platforms patrolled in their areas. Defensive towers showing turrets and there were even trains that went around and into the areas of the city. Within she knew there were smaller districts enclosed that were towns and villages... with farmlands and all number of things... what security was offere inside the walls was exceptional and the people didn't mind it as they were given more then enough land to work just had to aid with what extra they made. Toiling away they had their own reserves first and the rest the city gladly bought from them and more could be sold off.

They were passing over as the airship had the flag of the royal family and Junko stood out on the deck of the airship with a smile on her face. The scent of the sea was there.. the coast was beautiful and she could see the beaches that had been made where the villages came down to them. Curated to have the best and cleanest sands along with bluest waters as the hydrostatic shielding within kept predators and worked to clean the waters of the ocean and areas within the walls. She could see more of the kazue stone as a second airship was in the distance and was filled with traders. The black metal of the deck showing it was from the Kyushi and she hadn't met many of them from the south.

The shadow towers she had seen only a few times.. it was not a place to go to alone as a tourist although many did.. to see the dark skinned beings who were well muscled and often working the fields of their homes. Each of the mysterious towers having a clan who was within and they stayed there.. they were beautiful.. they were strong and even the Emperor acknowledged how impressive skill wise they were with long range weapons. The longbow they had developed was used often by them and she could see on the deck the guards as she spoke. "Tell me, who is coming from the south?" Junko said it as she was looking at everything there.

"One of the traders, we don't know much about them princess. You kow how secretive the Kyushi can be but hey make the trip every month without fail and trade silks and spice for seeds or other pieces of equipment that the different clans require." She understood that and the Kyshi were Atrisians but like the different groups among Atrisia they chose to sta in their regions... it allowed for a few things to be different.. namely it allowed the few tourists who came here to see and wonder... the jedi master also knew there was a lot more to them then met the eye as the skin skinned beauties were bodily perfection... each physically fit and able to hold their own with a bow.

She would have to make notes though mentally as they were coming on the second wall of the city and the security measures were stronger here... meant to continue to filter and narrow down threats. Shielding generators, defensive towers and the means that can be done to protect the inner areas wherre more farms were set up as well as military outposts. They had designed a section of the wall to admit visitors and the ancient road that went into Xam'chi was there in the distance... massive and built to connect overland to Jar'Kai with its many other parts. She knew they had a lo more as the larger walls of the final defensive measures for the city loomed in the distance.

The third wall that was around the city was the most impressive of them all, rising twice as high and lined with more cannons it extended into the sea and wrapped around the area. Giving them a full view as she could see more walking around down below with a small grin appearing on her face. "It looks beautiful now.. I am not going to lie." She could see them working on the environmental towers that would have a bubble barrier over the city and handle pollen, airborne problems... cleaning the air of the planet was a big thing and it also let them work on controlling and modulating the weather. They would also be able to project with micro poles the layers of shielding to the walls.

She could see other things as well the airships for the military and police forces were in full view here... with the thicker armor and using the new iso-didact reactors which gave them a powerful energy reactorthanks to all of the components of it. THey had worked with the research to make sure the kyberie, the sleg and the internal power amplification worked to better give a little power tons more output and compared to many of the solar ionization reactors which were like mini suns. The reactors of the airships wold serve better and overhead the massive helicarriers that patrolled over the cities while also providing fighters and protective shielding as needed.

The airship was still coming in as the city of Xam'chi gleamed... white kazue stone with shining towers of aurodium and silvers. A beacon in the port with trader ships on the water and the different pathways filled with smaller boats that went between them. A smile on Junko's face as the rebuilding efforts of the cit showed in great display and interest so few others would be able to match them. The city streets themselves were paved and made from the white stone, hiding the beautiful technology that was down below as iso-didact reactors were built into the city to provide more then enough power and it was being converted to a full self sustaining model with what would become the new hyper advanced living module.

There was even more she could see as the airfield was housing a dozen or so craft from around the palnet. traders mostly bringing the finest in materials and even animals from around the galaxy. The transport shuttles for cargo and others who wanted to come down to the planet from the Anshin and the moons under the new laws and restrictions. She could see the bellies of the transports being unloaded and the Atrisians who took it to the massive marketplace were there... some of the exotic creatures and finally there was the Yovshin honor guards for her who were standing prepared even with one of the force using Yovshin in their Tengu corps.

The tengu were something that Zanza broght to the people and Atrisia's yovshin were much better for it as they pushed forward to better be part of the Yovshin.... there were others as well.. they had restructured the military. Combining much of their IMperial past with everything they had learned andstreamlined the equipment and purposes. From the Asuka class combat skins which were impressive armors in their own right for ground forces to beefy naval suits in a fight with ablative helmets and built in oxygen recyclers. She could see those soldiers were there and they had the latest in Atrisian weapons as the Kirano interfaces were being set up.

"Welcome back princess." The voice was familiar and she could see the one saying it... her Yovshin captain was new... at least new to her. While her personal guard were around and able to do plenty they were also a collection of spearwives who had survived the attacks by Mythos.. they had managed to survive and served Junko who was their husbands duty. She would have to see what they could do and the jedi master herself was trying to figure out a couple of the other things here. "Thank you Kiaren." She said it and looked at the dusky skinned woman who was well muscled and her throat scarred where she had been attacked b a kath hound of someone who served mythos.

THe royal guard captain gave a nod of her head to that and they were walking down as the sounds of the port came to her first... everyone shouting and prepared to move shipment while some looked on curious as to what an who was there. They could see Junko and there was more coming from all of them while some offered flowers or small things. Silks and kimonos that they had made, things they had traded extra for and could spare butfor a chance to maybe receive favor were happy to part with. JUnko had them collected as with her escorts came two of her handmaidens that were collecting things for the small group that would be walking around the city.

She could see more of it as well, visitors from some other worlds were walking around and they stopped to look at them. Notably there were armored figures, considered ronin or wandering fighters they had sought to make an enclave here on the world and hadn't been granted that... clans were not a fae things depending on stigma but they were able to have a small island that was being granted to them.. a safe haven they could use and it was within distance but not entirely in the area of protection. There were a few like that scattered around the seas. For mandalorians and Altisian jedi, for cafaels fleeing zeltros reforms that devastated the world.

SHe didn't like to get into that one... it was funny how the jedi had supported an imposed monarchy on zeltros with the peoples elections every couple of years replaced by a permanent offworlder who claimed being queen and by destroying much of their culture saved the rabble. It had been something she didn't like and one of the few things she disagreed with but didn't worry about it... much like how the GA seemed to believe they well.. they would they had Atrisia's name on their map and claimed dominion... since the people had stopped caring long ago though it made it easier as they would continue to trade with the people of the galaxy in the commonwealth.

She could see more though and more of the mandalorians and some of the others who had come here to trade their goods going so far as to get the passes needed to come down to the planet.. which meant they were serious about their works and showing it off. She knew they were also helping with some fo the engineers making the armory of the atrisian commonwealth one fo the most deadly... from their blades whihc were able to switch into pistols and were considered highly explosive. To what was some of the more inpressive for heavy weapon users in the saso shielding units... they had even been working on better equipment like the field kits.

There was aother things that they had been working on and other events of course... there was more pieces and Xam'chi was being given a robust amount of technological improvements that would see it able to handle new equipment and new strains... it worked easily enough and from the farmers in the fields who were bringing crops here to sell after they filled their own stores and could do whatever else they wanted to. She could see the mandalorians and they reminded her in some ways of the Nite Owls but there was more to it... they were called children of the watch or a form of it.. the group was renowned within the mandalorians for their extreme views and they had been adopted into Atrisia for the benefit hardened warriors bring.

There was still always more around them as well.. she could see some of the other merchants and the Kyushi airship was there being unloaded... the black dresses of the mysterious Atrisias gleaming as it was somehow provacative but functioal as they lived where it was largely temperate even in winter they mgiht not get snow but in the summers they never had heat waves... it was almost perfectly suited for people to live and that was in theory and guesswork what he shadow towers did... whether that was true or not no one could prove but the running idea was it made the region sort of like a massive zone to control temperature and weather so everyone would be content.

There was even more that they were setting up, improvements to the living modules and what would become their modular areas would have the homes better able to handle the strain but they also had billions of people across the planets.. on the moons and spreading out among the system itself who were going to be working on farming, manufacturing and every area of production as a means to continue to increase the potency of their economy. The Emperor and Empress chose instead of being the richest to elevate everyone and with the chance even their homeless can be overweight from the abundance of food offered.

They were also working on a number of other projects to aid the people and while she knew the Commonwealth was largely Imperial with an emperor and empress... it was also vastly more progressive with them trying to make sure everythign improved to make the people happy. Sadly it wasn't about the ultra elites and rich over the serfs... this was about the people and popular rulers who were loved were important... better then ones who were feared because the killed dissenters... here they got exiled and based off of what she was seeing there was a whole lot of others thing they would be needing to do it they were lucky enough.

That was one of the first stops as Junko walked out of the airfield and towards the palace.. she could see the massive mountain and few knew or understood what it was that it had been... they didn't understand that the mountain was a being who had been brought here.. likely when it was very young and small. Much like the sentient mountains on Endor this one had been able to walk and then it had slept and slowly become inert until someone used the force to wake it up when they were attacking the planet. The massive jade colored mountain though gleamed in the light and like the mountains around them it looked amazing now more then ever since the massive mountain had been awakened.

They had bigger testing grounds here then in some of the othercities since they had the waterways and she could see them testing out some of the advanced technologies they were working on. New thrusters for armored suits and walkers to give them speed and the ability to move around quickly. There was the power armor they were testing as a means and design that also worked to become a sort of artificial lung... it would allow them to operate underwater without bulky equipment. New model oxygen regulators and they even had some of the smaller thigns like the field kit being worked on with hyper pocket generators to allow them to carry more things.

The advancements of Atrisian technology were also bringing out new things like sensor and communication suits... what they would be able to do with a standard package of equipment and sensors... she knew they were working to really make many more things and if the initial slew of pieces are set up and designed... meet the approval process then they should be able to move onto larger and more complex components. She knew they wanted to get automatic repair functions installed in a number of ships.. they were looking to get small drones and droids that would be set up to really beef the production qualities of their ships.

The Atrisians themselves were making it something as well since they worked with a lor of Sasoris better designs.. they utalized what they had, they had what they could use and the jedi princess herself was checking out many of the other things. Like their improvements to the standard field kit which would allow them to carry a fair amount using the molecular disruption technology. It would make the packs smaller but they were also getting into parts with the storage components that could hold the more advanced technologies themselves. They had created the Jenoshi itself which served as an impressive piece of technology for advancing their understanding using the time dilation effects.

Junko was also looking at who was here... within the advances and the areas well.. th jade colored mountains gave them a little pause... a little interest and she smiled with a wider understanding. They had been working on it and there was the sounds of the academy... the police forces were graduating it seemed and she looked over at them. They were a mixture but they served here in numbers to handle crime and problems. They were here along with many of the others who had been offered a chance to protect their homes. Black guards and dream guards were also chosen from among them because of their skills and potential to be some of the best and brightest.

There was more though as she moved and the kimono's the outfits that were being worn by the people who passed when they walked. The white stone of the buildings, the dark reds and blacks of the marble roads. They had emitters for cushions to soften footsteps. it made a sort of silent walking of the people and hover carts.. the streets themselves weren't crowded or over saturated with people but you could see the stores and the stalls of food. There was people selling make up and kabobs of meats with veggies... spices could be scented in the air and exotic artifacts were being sold to the people. Even the children were having fun as since they had been removing the criminal elements many things flourished.

That had been one of the harder things and she had seen problems.. the reports that suddenly criminal elements were appearing and problems when the people, the soldiers, the police were there as outsiders ran around... amused most of them. She saw some of the citizens were sitting and watching the hilarity ensue for things. While they were sipping tea most of them just shrugged while putting cleaning droids on to handle problems. The things she was being told about how they wanted to bring back Imperialism to Atrisia amused her as they was largely what they had here... Democracy would be better in her opinion but honestly it was tradition to have the Emperor and Empress with their advisors.

She was looking at the other things they had developed, the stripped down fighter and freighter that was being set up were getting th automated systems installed. From the nataku system for advanced computing power with hyperdrives and navigational systems. To their hyperspace tracker and slicing system to access and go into enemy ships if they aren't aware of it. They had been developing new sensors and the upgraded afterglow panels that they have been setting up all these different things where it collected energy from solar energy. The capacitor banks with the new model ultra capacitors which boosted the power exponentially.

What they had been working on and creating was also important... they had the wolf cannons.. they were designed to be fitted on ships and vehicles but the real trick was incorporating the turbocharging from a hornet class fighter which vastly improved the damage output of the cannons. They were looking to experiment on them to make it more of a common upgrade... if they could turn it into an alternate fire mode like their ion/laser turrets then they would be able to add yet another arsenal to the Atrisian navy and its defense forces... they had been experimenting with some parts of it even more that could give them a few.

She was also seeing more of what they had created here... the jedi who came to the world and the engineers... the workers they had contracted from other parts of the galaxy provided much but they were one of the best places for refugees to really start to get back on their feet and offered a welcoming environment with the anshin and expansion colonies. She knew groups like the Agents of Chaos took in refugees but they had them in a place like the Scintilla and didn't seem to have much same with other worlds who just housed them. The Atrisian people were actively trying to encourage them to recover and get on their feet to go back and heal their own worlds if they could or have a new life here.

She was moving up the bridges and the mountain, the white stone contrasting with the jade colored mountain itself that she knew was alive and they were able to commune with.. they were able to talk with the sleeping giant and that was just it... it slept and waited and lived. They brought to it plenty in the ways of food that would serve to sustain it and it allowed them to mine the precious resources that was within its veins... they were not greedy though and there were other worlds with beings like it it had revealed. Other places where these titans were brought to shape and mold it by someone.. a mystery to add to the multitude of ones that were strewn across Atrisia itself.

She looked down at some of the streets as the mandalorians were fidning their own little market area... the heavily armored protectors and that is what they were and did... looked up bowing and acknowledging her... they didn't serve Atrisia... they didn't push the interests of the royal family or the Commonwealth but they did an exchange... if problems came to the world or they were paid the handled things... if there was technology they wanted and were willing to buy or trade their services for... hey helped out. They were here because of the war and that had given them a small island like Horai to build up as their own as well as an airship.

The airship was something she had to admit was impressive with the repulsors they had developed they could get the airships much better but it was a military grade ships without being a mlitary grade ship. They had outfitted it with beskar and heavier shields then what she had been able to see... they even had areas made for their jet packs that could be used but they mostly seemed to have developed and used the microthrusters that had been made for heavier armorsl It gave them flight capabilities. Their island she had visited once and that was hen it was being set p... the forge was at work where they had been able to create some of the best swords next to Atrisian armorers.

She was able to see more as well, the thickly armored ovshin who trained with them in some hand to hand techniques... they were not going to teach them everything but a free trade between the two as Atrisian technology could be modified and built into their armor... and in exchange their large knowledge of warfare could be brought over and taugth to the soldiers who would structure it in ways for the others to learn. Creating a newer and more hardened generation of soldiers who would be defending Atrisia... it also meant there was a high level of discipline among the ranks that Junko had not seen in many cases;
