Dev Shadows of Atrisia

The only hold outss even with places far stretched out like Ukiyo or the Horselords... where technologies might not be beneficial.... or practically liked... was Quan-Lo... as least the Taeki and the Horselords cited religion but they were reported to come to the outposts on the borders that had been established and it was in use. SHe looked from the emperor to their host and bowed. "Apologies.. we must be boring you with all of this Lady Korimitsu." Junko said it and bowed her head again as they had taken the conversation as well as the attention away from her. The emperor looked much the same. "Of course we have distracted from our host for the night."

Korimitsu got smiles appearing on her face... she looked at much of it all. "Thank you but it is okay, as it stands I do not have much in the way of adventures compared to the two of you. I have just been here... but we have been rebuilding the city and restoring much of it. With the new improvements and power sources we have been able to have power and food throughout." THe sansin princess though was happy to talk about all that they had done... bringing up much of it. She had brought a whole lot of aspects she had seen from the galaxy here... trying it out like beauty contests on their beaches, cookouts for thousands of people and dancers from the southern isles.

"You give yourself far to little credit... rebuilding a city is not an easy feat... it is something to be celebrated as you are convincing others to see a sort of reason. We are trying to aid and give them the choice but we are also working to improve and restore a great amount of advancement." Junko said it and well instead of hiding it... there was a lot that they pushed and striven for... ancient Atrisian culture was something that they wanted to get and when they learned the truth of the Chi-Oni... of the ancient Atrisians who existed billions of years ago... it had inspired maany... they had technologies that were wonderful and much more advanced then what they had now still.

"Yes but we haven't forced it much like the empress saiud.. a rising tide raises all boats. By improving our farmers, they improved crops and our stores... this gave the merchants more to sell, the workers more to feed themselves and us which has built up the treasuries of the city to improve itself and create a bolstered amount of infrastructure. We poured much into security aat the walls as well and more into the projects like th library... that you have worked with offworlders to bolster the Atrisian credits and trade goods to a point where some of our race bags are worth more then starships speaks a benefit as we can sell a few off and the galaxy exchange rate is massive to all of us."

Listening to Norimitsu well was giving them a whole lot more.... Junko smiled to herself and presented it as a surprise but using the Ohashi AI which was strictly designed for thiks purpose well they had strengthened their own currency and credits... presenting them with the banking clans as a means to improve other worlds as it could be strong compared to the rest of the galaxy... there was even more as they could produce billions of tons of cargo and food or clothing to be sent out. Basic trade and commerce goods which would be used by a number of worlds in the expansion, unknown, out and mid rims as well as the inner and deep core worlds.

Junko was looking at means by which Atrisia could improve more upon itself they had an advanced medical AI, an advanced infrastructure AI, Commerce AI and defensive AI... ones that could aid but not fully control the Atrisian way of life.. that was important as the people maintained control compared to some who wanted to be pampered... they didn't become pod people who had all needs handled.. they just eased things up and got to enjoy life. THey were always developing new technologies and a farming AI whose purpose was to regulate and expand the means by which they produced food would be beneficial... they could exponentially improve production to ship and store... giving them vast reserves to ssend out across the galaxy with all of the new worlds they were developing.

The jedi master presented herself and a few other things that they were doing... reveling in the taste of the food as she wasn't going to poke at it with her fork.. no she was going to get aa full bite and finished it up around the same time as the others... the tea cooled but still on the warm side when she was drinking it and giving herself plenty though. The sweet treat at the end was delicious as well when she looked at Norimitsu with a wide grin. "Oh this is most delicious." She nodded with the others and the night continued on.. there wasn't much more to talk about as the emperor retired to his quarters in the palace... and JUnko her own.

"That was rather enjoyable... I don't think Norimitsu has many guests though." She said it and was looking at her handmaidens who had arrived to meet her and join up... after everything that was happening in the mountains they were able to at least get here after her and a time to relax and prepare for the next day. She had to think a little on what she would say about the libraary and how best to christen it... a kimono set out aand ready for her when she would look the best possible... not to take away from Norimitsu but she was visiting and here for the dedication.. the Sansin needed to look just as important for the people to hopefully respect her.

Junko slept though that night with a smile on her face.. news from the mountain was good they had everyone there and everything seemed to be going well... so there was that benefit for them. She wanted to have a few extra moments to herself in the morning to prepare as she was not certain what she was going to say but there was a whole lot of people to thank for getting this built and renovated... all of the citizens had worked hard and selling their goods from the Anshin while also dealing with more authoritarian tactics to root out dangerous sedition that had corrupted and infested Atrisia was important since they knew the danger such beings created.

She was also thinking of what dangers there could be... while most if not all Atrisian citizens respected and even loved the royal family you would always have holdouts.. someone wasn't always happy but that someone also usually benefited from what they had managed to do. Even giving them a chance to discuss what had been done if they did it in a non-violent way was preferable as it meant they might be able to improve and change things to better benefit the people under the stewardship of the family. Which is how she viewed it as a means to explain to herself why a jedi was taking on such an active role.

Though a jedi being in a position like hers was hardly... interesting.. maybe in another time she would have turned heads but secret families... royal titles... positions of power on a planet... these things were more common place more and more as all jedi needed to be special. She was in comparison to some she had seen... tame and average which went to say a lot more about them then her. A smile creeping across her face though as this late at night she had some of her handmaidens in the room and they had set up everything for her... they were in the large bed that had been set out for her.. the repulsors and artwork around beautiful in its design.

Junko waas quick to fall asleep though and she was enjoying what was happening here... wanting to enjoy the moment more for herself when the sounds of the city came through the window. Alive with the bustling sounds of youth and even more. THey had one of the few modern dance clubs here that was still standing... the bars and they were bars dedicated to certain lifestyles compared to many of the others and here on Atrisia no one cared as much as some fo the other places. The sounds of the music drifted in and they had much more in terms of a place within the city... the palace being above but also within most of the city limits compared to the others.

THe night to sleep though was welcomed and Junko was resting peacefully as she felt the warmth of the sun on her face and rolled over... "No." She said it and laid there on her stomach shaking her head... "Nope nope five more minutes sun go away." To her surprise though the sun seemed to disappear and shade returned as one part of her brain thought for a moment briefly she had gained a new level of power... she might be a god.... which could be awesome. "As you command." She heard the words and her thought came back to her as she looking over at the handmaiden standing there... dusky skin gleaming with just a small sheen of sweat from the night.

"Morning." The activities were important and the gossamer thin robes clung to her as Junko rolled over at the silk sheets with a grin on her face. She rolled back over and rose up sliding off of the bed just enough to slip the sheets around herself. "Well I suppose having all of that power was just a dream." She said it and smiled though standing near the window and she could look out on the city as it was beautiful in the morning and spoke. "Hmm next time.. aafter this we should head towards the beaches... this planet needs a private resort on an island... white sandy beaches... dancing girls around fire pits the works."

Her handmaiden was looking at her and didn't stop from grinning and blushing. "Is that what you really want princess... I am certain we can get you some dancing girls and a fire pit... I can message your palace to begin construction." She said it matter of factly... knowing that JUnko would go for it at least some of it... her island palace was after all meant to be private and a home... JUnko had been working with many of the workers and designers to make it one of the more impressive buildings on Atrisia... full of the most advanced sections as well as even more that they would be able to work on. Junko spoke with a shrug.

"I mean it wouldn't be a bad thing... dancing girls serve an important part in said palaces or homes... and the more the better I say.. though I also say that most of the girls I meet have delicious...." She trailed off as the blushing handmaiden threw a pillow at her to make her stop and Junko laughed louder. The pair of them were able to have a little fun with it and Junko wasn't opposed to the idea of her handmaidens taking a few liberties here and there in private... thaat she was blushing so much only went to prove her point while JUnko walked over and spoke looking out the window. "Hmm see darker the berry the sweeter the juice." SHe said it and had a grin on her face wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

Her honeyed words got more of a reaction then she had been expecting but Junko remained grinning to herself at the words as she was pushed back towards the bed. Several hours later it was time to get dressed and ready for the opening and dedication for which well she needed to be able to work on a few things at least... thinking it over in her head about what she was going to say to them about all of the things. JUnko dressed in a sky blue kimono with beautiful series of flowers on it.. the design gave way as they were more liquid and able to shift the patterns on the kimono. There was small fur cuffs set upon it that she was able to look at and enjoy... everything seemed present and perfect to use.

"You look beautiful princess." Her handmaidens were bowing and remaining there as they giggled a little. Junko had taken a little longer to get dressed with lingering glances but her hair was over her shoulders... her kimono pressed and clean as she had her geta on her feet and bowed her head walking towards the doors that would get her there. She joined the procession heading down the streets as people were celebrating and bringing much out... flowers along the pathway.. the smell of food and cooked meats... beautiful girls and women standing in their finest kimono's as makie droids flew around providing information and showing the upgrades to daily lives were becoming functional.

The massive library was there and the stage that had been set up filled with soldiers.. the emperor and Sansin... other lesser nobles from the city who had their attendants with them and there was still more looking out as performers entertained... visually all of it was quite nice as the multicolored armors of the soldiers gleamed from a fresh coat of polish. Jewels glimmering in the sunlight as well where she could see it in the light. Her handmaidens and soldiers took up their places standing around and Junko was greeted.. able to get on the stage with smiles and waves of her hands to everyone around them. The people were excited and the shows that were happening finished as the silence came to the city area.

"Thank you for coming out today... emperor, your beautiful and lovely Sansin." Junko said it and stood tall and pristine with her hands clasped in front of herself. Her voice came out as she used the white current to make an illusion of herself amplifying her voice for all of them to hear and stood sixty feet tall for all of them to see her. The flawless illusion was good for the minds of the others. She could do it pretty good as they trusted her not to abuse or harm them so more opened to it. THe jedi master continued. "What started a few years ago to rebuilld Atrisia continues today... I make no illusions thaat such efforts will diminish as we must always be going forward but we are Atrisians we put our traditions above much and let it define us in a galaxy more and more degenerating towards chaos."

She got cheers and applause... they were happy... many more were being elevated and given the chance from the grassroots to the nobles... everyone had the freedom to try and improve their lives and station on the world. With many more choosing what they wanted and the Atrisian royal family was going to give that to them. "You have all been a part of it, not just the royal family whom you have continued to accept... you have seen the changes, you have seen the improvements not just to your lives but your children and family. We have been implementing a number of things to make everything easier.. we have been improving all aspects and this library serves to continue to improve the education benefits of all."

There was a small applause break and a smile on her face. "We have built here one of the largest centers of knowledge in the galaxy... with not just Atrisian history but galactic history from a thousand thousand and one worlds... allies, enemies, species some have never met... information about their worlds, information about their traditions. I am pleased to welcome all of you with this chance... much like we have been pleased to give you the chance to grow and sell your own food, to till the land orr build yourself up from the different areas of the planet. No one is without the chance to become a lord given enough work and time."

She believed that... not in everything... the nobles for the longest time had had the advantages and under mythos that had become much more dangerous a divide but they had worked on many many more things to return and stop the exploitation. THey were still working on it but a new generation of lords and ladies who rose up to overthrow those who sought to exploit them and oppress them... who supported the emperor and empress and knew that if they rose up again they could win united well it put many things in perspective compared to what had happened in the past. JUnko was looking at many of the people though.

All of them knew how bad things had gotten and knew they had strength but they had wanted the return to well this.. a ruling family who would handle the threat and in dangerous situations would unite them all against it... offworlders were dangerous and annoying. "So it is here... with this center of learning that we are bringing you a great many more things... from education to history but also the chance to become more... we want Atrisia itself to grow and all of its citizens are essential to that future growth not just the nobles... the citizens of the Commonwealth make up the lifeblood and the Jishi era is about you and improving the lives of everyone of you." She said it to cheers as they brought back the celebration.

THe sounds of celebration were the best part... everything around them lit up with fireworks... people were having fun and entertainment... the sound of food being sold... biwe's being played with various songs... some competing against each other some working together... everything came together to make a living city that was a reminder of why she did what she did... why she went around to each city and really tried to give each one her full attention and leave it better off then when she was there. Junko left the stage though and was walking around seeing more of the people as many were dressed... her hands going to greet and accept flowers while handmaidens were silently around her.

They worked two fold as a buffer who allowed the guards to filter and observe but also as a sort of pack mule for all of the flowers and gifts as they had bags and pockets expertly trained. JUnko was leaving the stage and much the same was with the emperor who had stayed quiet but was meeting the people as well.. the awes and whispers as the empress herself appeared and stood there greeting them... then was next to her husband with smiles from both of them and surprise. Junko was glad to see her and her handmaidens were around all of them as well greeting the people.. Keisei were dancing on platforms and Junko stopped to watch them.

The Keisei were the last great Atrisian frontier... well okay to someone like Junko who enjoyed the finer tastes of the different women of Atrisia a keisei was exotic... wonderful.. she wished they were not chaste compared to many of the others she had met... they seemed to know what they were doing but they were not going to let things happen normally. She wasn't too worried though and looked towarrds what they had here as more and more stopped to watch the dancing... the enjoyment from the celebration getting to all of them as the jedi princess gleamed happy faces and new delicious foods.

She got a kabob of meats and veggies while standing there and one of the children brought her taffy... the delicious treat was well a good contrast but it looked like a fair now... the library was opened and others were going through it... some touring... some learning but all of them were here as the sansin, emperor and empress as well as herself and one or two visiting royals met with everyone who came along. The throngs of yovshin guards, handmaidens and attending members of the court were set up for all of them. Junko could see more as she finished the kabob first with the hot and delicious meat releasing just the right amount of juice.

She was eating the food while walking more now and had gotten the gift from one of the children. GOing through the city there was a chance to walk among one of the gardens that had been made and she could see the different trees that they were tending from across the galaxy. She could also see cherry blossom trees, fruit trees and what amounted to a hybrid they had gotten created... it was made to grow dozens of different types of fruit on it and it a hundred shades of color as the years went on so that it would be able to provide all year round... modified for cold weather protection and to basically use the bare minimum when it came to water consumption. The ideas was for terraforming.

Junko waas looking at more of what was around them though trying to determine if they had a better chance with it and also so she could stand still and swirl the taffy as she put the long string of it in her mouth. She wasn't one for walking while distracted trying to contain the beast of a sweet treat that could stretch to the ground if one was not careful with it. She managed to get all of it in her mouth though and suckling on it to soften it she chewed it while she was moving and enjoyed the fruity flavors that went with it... the length was important as you got a few inches of different colors and flavors at all times.

Junko was looking at many of the things here as she looked to the different fruits... passion fruits, dragon fruits, apples, pears, plums and oranges... everythign was ripe and the trees were designed with some of the best genetic tampering for maximum fruit accurement. Junko went to see more of it as she sat down at one of the benches to have her yovshin and handmaidens around them. She got a chance as they were handing out some food to the people but they were also getting a chance to play with some of the children who were preforming in front of her. JUnko got to enjoy it and hear tales from a few others about what they were doing.

"Oh." She looked at the little girl who was there near her and wearing a bright pink Kimono... the colors not natural but it reminded her of bubblegum and gave a decent enough idea. "Yes princess, we were working and got to see one of the Horselords.... they had ventured to the city and they were so massive then I learned that was a kid my age." SHe seemed excited and Junko was checking it as she knew the horselords were beefy... muscles atop muscles for the men and the women but their children usually looked much the same just fit as hell teenagers. JUnko was nodding as the girl continued about how the horselord seemed to be with them and their massive longma.

Junko listened to more stories from the children who were giving her small trinkets, flowers, gifts, some food that they were sharing. Their parents werre there and encouraging but not forcing them as she was more then happy to meet with each one. HEr handmaidens seeing to the adults if they needed to or directing them for aid and a chance to speak with Junko. One of them a farmer was being brought after some fo the children cleared out and she sat with the woman. "THank you for seeing me princess. I know it is likely unusual to do this." The woman was young but pretty and wearing her kimono it was obvious she might not be rich but she was skilled.

JUnko took in her kimono which was well worn and mended... pretty in its design but starting to fade from continued washing in a river and it looked like it was only recently being cleaned in something like the more effecient and helpful cleaning modules for the living modules. She hd long black hair and freckles on her pale skin as her green eyes looked out and they were puffy but showing to the jedi master plenty of expression and she was sad, scared and desperate. Junko was taking it all in and focused the force into her hand as she was offering comfort with her haand and it made the girl slam into her and just heave her body up and down crying.

"Take your time." Junko said it and was looking at her and she offered what comfort she could to the woman.. she wanted to make her feel better aat least and if she was going to get anything out of her... well she needed to stop her from crying... that was step one. "THank you princess." She said it and remained there quiet for a few moments more as Junko waved off one of her handmaidens and just looked at her listening to her trying to catch her breath again.. trying to focus her thoughts and chaotic mind at least. She was just feeling the surface thoughts from her and she was sending as much to her as she could calm her.

"THank you." THe womans voice was barely a whisper but she finally seemed composed and ready. "We were in the fields, working in the rice patties and they came.... attackers from one of the villages that was a holdout of servants for mythos." She said had been... there was a lot that had been done but operation Syuri had been deployed across the planet and the commonwealth to take out those wayward supporters and exile them if they could but some still had fought and tried to win.. So she was wondering if they had missed something or... "THey didn't come back... but the village the people there to survive had to become bandits and they attack the farmers nearby."

Junko was listening to her and more of the details.. they were being attacked by one of the villages who had suffered and needed to turn to being bandits in times of well strife but now things were better... somewhat but they were still stealing and raiding travelers and people nearby. She would have to investigate and send some soldiers to protect the roads as this wasn't something they could allow to fester and spread from the village. "I will try and get out there as quickly as I can... stay with us though and we'll personally escort you back alright." That seemed to get some smiles from the girl and JUnko allowed her to embrace her.

She let one fo her handmaidens take the woman off as she was going to meet some fo the other children who were near them and made sure they were heading out as soon as they could. She needed to say goodbye to Korimitsu and the emperor aand empress... she needed to do all of that for the night but come morning they would be able to get out of here and onto the road to go and help the girl... which they would take a vehicle for it... since her village was small and out of the way around the rice patties they wouldn't have an airfield and bringing one in would announce their presence. JUnko had a grin on her face though playing with a few more of the children as her handmaidens at least a few of them took care fo the arraignments.

Her meetings with all of the people were done and Junko left the park eventually as she looked around the city and the celebrations hadn't stopped but the night was coming and that just meant they were getting more exciting in terms of what was happening. A smile on her face where she could check around... a wider grin though seeing dancers getting more 'comfortable' in terms of what they were doing when the children were being sent to bed. The more raunchy and risque stuff happened when it was only adults or overgrown children masquerading as adults. She laughed to herself as different dancers were facing off more lewdly on one of the stages.

She stopped to watch the two of the different groups going at it as the male dancers had stripped down to underpants and were oiled... muscles rippling in the lights to match the more provocative keisei who were dancing and were artwork compared to most. With their make up on and visually they still looked amazing with their long hair and fans... the red lipstick and they were fit... their Gado bodyguards nearby as well as what were considered new to them. Aliens and exotic species that loved the idea of what they were and presented themselves to the elder of the Keisei to be trained which maade them steadfastly loyal to Atrisia.
