Dev Shadows of Atrisia

JUnko did snicker with that.... it was funny to them on Atrisia and seeing Latyuo or Supisy who seemed to be more and more surprised about it and Atrisian quality of life... well she had seem the surprise in their faces that the men were just as beautiful as the women and all really could do the same things but they did have plenty of differences. JUnko though was happy as the palace seemed to be having more of its production.. the droids were showing the underground labs and armories that were inventorying the weapons and equipment. The newest designs and improvements to what they had as tanks were being worked on.

Tripikata seemed bemused mostly at the conversation as she rarely cared... she seemed to find most interactions with the outsiders and offworlders who were not staying around not needed. It helped that Supisy and Latyuo went out of their ways to meet with and talk and get to know each of the handmaidens. "It is looking better princess. We wioll stay here and keep productioon going... the rice and food chutes design we will send to the labs and see if they can do it for other items. Having them for food would be helpful and if we can use them for evaporators... we might better be able to create water in the desert worlds that we have encountered."

"If you can get it to a viable area where we can have a constant flow of water in a desert this technology will have a bigger market. We'd need to make a place for it to break apart and be recycled as well though. We can't have it being a means to flood a world if there are a lot used... or regulators." SHe thought about it but it was time for her and her other handmaidens to move on. THis was after all a tour and the handmaidens were overseeing from their palaces... allowing Junko and Nari to return and remain in the main one as they were putting a lot of the systems in place in her own palace." JUnko embraced each of them though. "Take care, we'll come back around once all of the systems are up and running."

SHe said it and saying the goodbyes were a small thing. Tripitaka cared but she was more serious while Jiyoung was smiles and hugs to each of them. She enjoyed being around them the most compared while Jubei was talking more technical with Miyoung. THey were heading back up the lifts as the read outs were on display and everything here was linking up with the technical information coming out of the palace on the main island. THeir technicians aligning the smart tunnels and trams as well as the power generation facilities. JUnko looked at the beauty of the towers of the fortress with the airship as she made out the area it would release fighters.

THe airship was a sight for sore eyes as the sun gleamed down on them.. the stark white of the towers reflecting most of the sun around them so it shimmered in the daily heat... looking like water. Junko was moving with the others and allowed the force to lead them around onto the airship as she found a place to sit and enjoy herself... letting her mind wander when the ship was pushing off.. she had been able to see a few more things... and she could feel it. Information from their engineers were coming through and Miyoung was there with her. "It is beautiful... these stormseeds are something impressive and we are able to reverse engineer them."

Miyoung seemed excited as she was there next to Phaidor showing it off.. it was a beautiful thing. "We have managed to make it and with the upgrades to the hyperdrive attachments... in the path and sunvale attachments.. it will allow for a lot more freedom of movement to the Choushin ships." She said it and was smiling to herself when she looked over more of it... "Combine with the new hypergates that are being developed... the gates can be seeded throughout the Commonwealth and thanks to Prince Shoma.. we have a lot more allies in the Commonwealth who will accept them..we could have this be a whole new line of movement across planets and the Commonwealth... travel by ship could almost become obsolete."

Miyoung was getting excited to herself.. she was check on more of it as the designed were coming up to her.. the blueprints were turning over and over with Phaidor taking it in. "So you are saying we could use these to make the imperial palace a more secure location?" She saaid it and Junko was interested as the airship continued to move forward and around with a nod of her head. "We might be able to... if we can make it so entrance to the palace requires the gaes or a highly secured and guarded entrance.. we would be able to do a lot more in the methods to protect the emperor and empress... if we could add additional layer to the defensive ideas."

Miyoung was having more ideas about it... Junko was joining her as the woman with PHaidor had some ideas for tech brewing no doubt.. ways to vastly improve Atrisian quality of life be it in the form of their daily life.. potential threats or that they would be able to do any number of things.. from food p0roduction to educational needs or suppliments for the body.. so far Atrisians had organic implants that didn't show on the body but could extend their lives for decades even centuries.. they had the means to regrow and replace limbs. Cure many sicknesses that might come to the body and even better they were teaching massive amounts of knowledge that would be inherent in the citizens."

Junko looked as the islands shifted... from the fortresses and opulant palaces to something that was a large open beach. Hundreds of people were there and Uzaki moved standing tall and proud while she looked at them. A smile on her face when she was pointing where they would be able to go. "It isn't much to look at compared to the others but wedo have it more like the islands in the southern areas." A smile on her face while the airship was hovering and its lift came down to bring all of them. Uzaki and Junko were checking on different things before JUnko touched the sands. Her fingers flexing for a moment longer when they all moved forward and she could see the people.

JUnko was surprised as the island looked to have a village... huts on the beach... beautiful men and women walking around and their hair was massive. Curtaining and covering them. A beautiful sight she would not deny as Uzeki was being welcomed by the others here. "I feel a little overdressed." She offered it and a smile was on her face when she could check on a few other aspects and things. THe huts were on the exterior wood and leaves... what looked like twine.... but the interior was the living modules. THe longhouse that they had set up for the handmaiden was a warehouse with the throne room and a massive table.

JUnko had to admit to one thing.. it fir Uzeki who was an impressive islander and skilled fighter but more then that she was just a companion... great with being among all of them and it showed here as aside from her spot at the table looking a little more ornate it fit that all of them were equal as the table was able to spread out in a massive singular table for everyone to be there and space for even more. The table able to sink into a depression in the floor that would conceal it and all her to observe from a throne for the pure purpose of furfilling her duties when the time came. The holoprojectors were there and would mirror like the other standard throne rooms.

There were dozens of people in there sitting down. Uzeki had left it opened... a massive longhouse as they were all retelling tales of their own adventures and victory... of honor and intrigue. TO make it a beautiful place. "Wonderful." With a look at more of it she could see parts.. she could see some of the interesting things that were going on for them. Junko could hear and Uzeki remained tere while several of the people around were giving tattoos. THeir works looking more intricate compared and it would adorn faces, arms, legs and chests even. Some of them more tribal, some with a purpose for their adventures and some to denote their status.

Junko was looking around at some of the other things in the hall.. it was beautiful... it was filled with thousands of scrolls and pictures on the sides of the hall itself. The tables were going under some of them as many more people were coming in. Greeting them and bowing before they were sitting down with plates being brought to them. THe food was impressive as it was large chunks of meat, stews, skewers that were being shaved and torn... the scent of various booze and teas. Several others were there and had brandished weapons. Mock fighting in the corner to add to their tales as Junko could see a few of the others.

"THey have been working on making things more comfortable. THe long house as well as the huts might not look as impressive but it is full of some of the strongest warriors that we have been able to train.. and the lower entrances to the labs and mechanical works." Uzeki said it as she was finding her place and the other handmaidens sat down to look at it all.. the islander being appraised and a tattoo worker coming over to show several others while she was offering her hand. THe intricate spirals around each finger being touched up quickly enough so they wouldn't fade away and across the back of her palm. Junko nodded her head to her in agreement.

"Well I shall give you this Uzeki.... this is certainly a different approach." She said it with a smile though as the Islanders were all larger... tanned skined with thick haiur... muscles and their tattoos on display. SHe could see more of it as some of them had facial jewelry beyond in their ears... but they worked to keep that at a minimum. Junko knew and had seen other worlds where the people went for gawdy and because they could... here at least it was used to differentiate them... Uzeki had a mug of some form of rice wine that could be scented. She had other things.. there were children bringing in weapons while a few of the larger ones acted like her own guards this far in watching the doors.

"We wanted to reflect much of the islands... few are going to go there on their own. You visit everyone but others are not as big world travelers. We have also been able to compared to the fortresses and palaces that scream defenses and means to attack.. want to lure them in." She had a grin on her face when she was looking at Junko. "WHich the others are good and help.. it can narrow would be attackers to come here and here... we have entire armies ready to be moved around and come out of the ground. Or the sea... the fisheries we have been working on to make with the modules so they can be monitored and we will be able to make tens of millions of fish a day to ship out."

Junko heard the projections and she had an idea of it.. they would be able to do a lot more with that... they had thousands of the fisheries across the planet. Shipments of supplies in the ships and vessels went a longer way. THey had aviaries and land based one for other meats... the ability to produce food was important... which was why the facilities that Jiyoung had planned and was using were given a bigger chance and research grant. Already Miyoung had received information that they were prototyping a testing facility in the deserts which would make water and food.. they were producing a great deal of initial resources with the massive power output they were able to get.

Uzeki was just providing another avenue of how it could be useful to have their increased production capabilities.... and that was giving her more ideas as they could use this... they could improve upon it and being able to literally industrialize relief supplies would mean they could send them to the war torn worlds with little effort. If they combined it with the krampus system for warping hyperspace to send without a ship then they would be able to do it without well... without having to make it known. It would be a better way to help in the galaxy and they would be able to keep their comsumable supplies from stockpiling to the point they might need to make a storage world just to hold the cases.

Junko was looking at more of it as well as information was coming through their interfaces. Current news... information. "I seems the project from Sasori is going through and they have developed technologically several news things that are scary impressive..... also a massive planet possibly." Junko said it as some of the specs for things like their electro tattoo weapons were there and she looked at Uzeki motioning for her. "These might interest you and your defenders." She said it as all of it would interest but she was not sure what they might be able to do... the tattoos could be an impressive thing if they managed to make it into a standard weapon.

SHe was liking the organic implaants as well it would be something they could mess with if gases were used in an attack. She was thinking about what they would be able to do if Atrisians who had plenty of tattoos were able to weaponize them and create improved designs... they might not be able to make melee weapons but if they could have it so they were always armed or always protected... it could go a further way to continue to stride forward and make Atrisian citizens safer. THe idea of a world created purely by Sasori and her cousin well.. if they could make artificial planetoids then it could build up plenty of other possibilities.

Uzeki's work here as she was going over the information about the weaponized electro-tattoos was something fun.. she would be able to if she needed get them.. use them and Barca would want one... for a martial artists and some of their fighters this could be an impressive design with the right equipment. Junko could think of a weaponized tattoo that was a stunner or shocker at the hands and feet to be able to use it in a hands on combat situation.. or flame throwers to mess with attacking enemies.. it would be like a shapers skill but something that didn't rely on the force to make it stronger and they could find a means to disable such things.

Junko stretched with a grin on her face. "Oh I think we are going to be improving much much more now.. we have some ideas and if we can apply this new technology to say stunners, flamethrowers or even cryo or grapples... there is a dangerous thought... better there is the chance that we would be able to get the element of surprise in most of these situations.. we would beable to improve upon even more things." She said it while being prepared for anything.. and Atrisia was already developing it... she was more then certain of it if they could do it correctly... she knew Miyoung had a few things that they would be able to do as well for themselves.

Uzeki was looking at it and gave a nod. "IF we can train and specialize our warriors in such weapons it would be beneficial and as a pilot program we could field test it." SHe was thinking about it as Uzeki had a few more things.. she was working with one of the workers to get a design that would be used on herself... the ability to check out a few of the other parts. The other weapons that were being developed were impressive enough... the ability to fire a few hypergate discs and allow getting transportation in the field or even ina building if they used them correctly and could link several of them they would be able to really develop new technologies.

THey had their own buildings and construction efforts that would be used.. they had the huts and from the inside she could see much much more of it. The structures interior was as advanced as anything else here on Atrisia.... The structure itself was quite beautiful as it was ribbed above them.. going up and up with viewports allowing them to look outwards. She could see more people outside who were going to their huts, going to the open air market that was set up with with silks, meats, spices and more. There were children running around that seemed to be checking on them... guards who marched and patrolled around.

SHe preffered this while she sat there.. conversation going on around her... the interest of a few others. THeir conversations as they looked around and talked wiht the people were important... their ideas and what they were working on helped a lot as well. They were displaying a few pieces of equipment... the armored kimono's that were helpful for them would go a long way and there was even more. THey had the bio-implants that they were able to use... it made most Atrisians stronger, faster, trained their bodies to be honed weapons so they were almost sterotypes and legends. Everyone on Atrisia knew martial arts was going to be a possibility insteafd of a joke.

THey were developing other implants that would improve the people and eventually bring them slowly back towards the Chi-Oni if they were lucky. The goal was at least that.... the islanders here were beautiful and skilledd. fierce and strong... in different ways and they were bringing her attention around to the rafts and boats that they were making. SOme of them working on it with the jade class wood... which made sense. They would have some of the strongest rafts in the galaxy... stronger then most starffighters outside of the Commonwealth and Sasori even just from the sheer level of power that goes with the materia itself and the rope that was being used.

The rafts being made and other boats brought her interest and Junko was walking onnly with Uzeki through the village... a chance to talk and see if her handmaiden liked it here or had wanted to go home... she had joined her sure willingly but sometimes it seemed like Junko was collecting them instead of really getting to know them... it was all impressive though... a chance to really alter and change a few aspects of the things she was thinking about. THe village here looked closer and closer to her own... the people even seemed to be some from her island as well as the surrounding ones... which made it seem like she might be above all homesick in most scenarios.

"So how are you doing? I know you came because you had to and leaving the islands was not an easy choice." She said it with a look on her face though and looked up at the larger woman. Offering a smile and her attention for it. Uzeki stood there and looked down at her while her jaw tattoo gleamed, her dark eyes following Junko for a moment before she thought about it. "A mixture princess, I will not lie that coming with you was more out of obligation.. Atrisia is a united people... we need to be together in decisions and things.. support each other which means I should go with you when you call for aid... the others have so I shouldn't do less... but I wasn't initially supportive of it."

Junko gave a nod of her head to that as she respected Uzeki being honest about it. She had motivation less because she wanted position and the prestigue that came with being a handmaiden to the royal family and she preferred to have the glamor that went along with being an honorable and brave fighter. JUnko was more then prepared to give her that chance and saw it as an important thing to maintain her opinion and respect. "Well, I am glad you did, you have given a good perspective more then a handful of times when we were out there and no one will ever say the people of the islands are weak or a danger."

She shrugged seeing her though with a grin as the large woman stopped and seemed to think about it. "Well we like being on our islands, we prefe it at times... going from smaller one to smaller ones. THe continents, even going out into space is not nearly as appealing... in some ways we are like the Horselords who never want to leave the world... it is preferable." She said it with a nod of her head and Junko agreed... the horselords were the harder ones to meet with as their area of Atrisia had remained secluded and away from the others for so long... the Chi-Oni even barely ventured to the surface of their area to explore or raid.

"LEaving the world is something small now though... we don't have to and can make it much much easier with the hypergates and everythign that we have been building. It will improve much more for us in the end as well." She said it with a smile on her face as Uzeki was walking and the villages ended.. the edge of the islands coast was there stretching before her. THe white sands being scored and scoured with drones that were making sure the sand was perfectly clear of anything dangerous. Making it so you could walk on it and other parts of the island... the drones kept the streets clean as well. Uzeki was still tall with her boots off and her hair loose... a curtain of braids behind her.

Uzeki seemed to be more and more relaxed as she was looking on and her toes went into the white sands of the beach. Junko finding a place to sit as the sea shells that were in the sand were prestine and whole... nothing cracked, nothing broken or scattered... perfectly measured by the drones that were maintaining and making the beaches a beautiful sight to behold like others were working in the water and the air.. some in the village whihc from here she could see that it was an elevated position. THey had defensive measures that would be there... pillboxes setup in a way that they would be able to be popped up from the ground itself and have full coverage.

Junko could see more here.. the design for the elevated position was subtle.. the open area of the beach or going towards the sparce forests.... where they had spaced out the trees to allow better sightlines and prevent obscuring the vision of the defenders. Junko could see the village without the walls was a design choice but it was not as she thought initially.. there were shield projectors and hardlight projectors that would allow it to have walls and layers of defense... a smart thing as well as including the underground sections which people didn't see... it went a longer and further ways towards protection. The sea itself was built up and designed as well.

Uzeki had some more here... her warriors were built tough... they were skilled and in the water they were some of the most dangerous. THeir boats were made for a small squad to operate and could be deployed quickly from the shore, wit sonic netting designed to capture and drag down into the water where the pulses would become exponentially more dangerous and powerful within the water itself. They had areas where the warriors would be able to with biot and droid reinforcements hold out and move around. Around the village was something else she could see as they had drones patrolling.. the light hawk drones were impressive for attacking or defensive measures... she had some ideas.

"Looking at the island itself... so much appearing open air.... the huts don't have doors but I know that isn't true... the heat can be felt but it would work since most offworlders don't use a sweat wicking system within their armor. So the hotter air will maake them sweat..... their armor and equipment heavier with the higher gravity plates under the sand." Junko said it and looked at Uzeki who was nodding confirmation. The gravity plating was a surprise and most might not notice it but... as a security measure it was important... as a means to train the body and mind... it was important to make it so the Atrisian people were always at the height of physical ability.

JUnko could see some other things that had been brought in.. the buildings had additional shielding projectors and hardlight projectors at the doors and windows... bubble shielding for each hut but also for the village itself and by extension the island. Rock outcropping were set up and prepared covering for the shield generator to the main island. THe visible turrets that were set up with their own walls and she could see a droid platform that had been set up and sunk into the water and sand... it would be able to function and allow themselves to retreat to it and its massive amount of weapons and shielding. A glydr was designed to be there and it would grow larger converting raw material on the beach if needed.

"We have other things as well... the lower levels will be the most important... not just because of the amount of people working there... but because we have been working on what will be an almost industrial design to making weapons and equipment. Stockpiling it and shipping it across the internal network of the island itself. We have also been working on developing here.. it might not look like much but if we could do it... that phase shifting force technique you use and that the jedi used for their own prison was something that was talked about.. if it could be used to phase and open up several newer aspects of storage with a more improved need."

Junko was listening to her as some of the ideas for concepts that they would be able to do.. some of the ideas for storage, for manufacturing... if they could do more.. if they could improve upon it... they might be able to do a lot more as it were... she knew the jedi had a lot of information and if incorporating their greater force abilities and techniques into this... they would be able to really improve the quality of life.... maybe not into a utopia like some would think but they could go for the best chance... there was always a need and a chance which she could hope for as Junko smiled for herself. "We can look into it, I know we have been working to incorporate more and more force into daily life."

"The daily lives of Atrisians are getting complicated... mostly.... I will admit. I was worried with all of the improvements, all of the technologies used to make everything easier... I thought many of us would be getting soft... would be getting lazy but the balance has been struck. As much as things are easier... no struggle for food, property and quality of life... it is now the struggle to maintain it.. to keep it functioning and teach the next generations the value of it. To instill in them honor and care for their fellows." She said it and the islanders used tradition for many things.. the landlocked ones of the continent for things as well.. they had changed much of Atrisia.

Junko looked at her and this was more insightful compared to some... Uzeki often presented herself as a brute but she was a leader among her people... that generally meant she had a mind for knowing when to fight and when to talk. She also had the goal of wanting to make the islands safer... more permanent in some ways. THey migrated between them over the year and it was fine but they spent too much time trying to rebuild and didn't have a way to maintain... so there could be a struggle those first few weeks... now they were using droids to maintain their settlements over the year until they returned and fisheries to make sure food was in abundance.
