Private Shaken Not Stirred

He wasn't surprised that Rowena would take caution in case he lashed out. Angonous wasn't a moody teenage Sith Knight who lashes out when things don't go his way. He usually makes it clear of his expectations besides it would be a waste to kill good officers in the heat of battle. "I do not lash out the way you think my lady," he said. "I am a Sith Lord not an animal, my emotions ignite me but they do not control me."

Angonous raised an eyebrow when Rowena hooked her slim arm against his. He didn't like being touched but her soft arm made him feel at ease as though he..... liked it. "Perhaps," he said. "But wars often started by fools who hide behind their desks the moment the war goes after them. In war you either annihilate your enemy or you die. Too many times the Sith had the Jedi on the ropes only to choose to compromise with them. The Jedi will not show that same mercy and neither should the Sith."

It was rather ironic that the Sith were the ones who always go for ceasefires. Angonous was never one to leave work unfinished yet the Sith just seemed to bumble around whenever the Jedi are down. Angonous sighed when Rowena asked again, "I've been so guarded," he said. "That it's hard for me to make friends Rowena. You have shown me kindness that no one else has."

It seemed as though Darth Angonous Darth Angonous was reading her thoughts, for his comments on the very things that she was thinking about sure made it seem as though that was the case. As far as Rowena was aaare, one had ever gone into her mind before. There was much that she kept secret and she didn't want that information leaked out to others.

"Not all that wage wars with words are weak fools. Though I can't speak for the Jedi or Sith. I don't know what they do. I just speak on behalf of those that don't have that magic. We have to rely on our wits to survive and not be controlled." That was always a fear of non-force-users, by her understanding; they didn't want to end up enslaved or used as cannon fodder because their lack of Force abilities made them appear to be inferior.

"We're all guarded. Including myself. It's how we survive." Again he failed to tell her about his company. So this time around, she didn't ask again.
