Shimmers of Silver - Chapter 3

Lianna

The planet that was the second Coruscant. Serena stood before the window of the swoop bike shop, she was determined that today she would take a ride and let her hair blow to the wind. The Silver Sanctum presence on Lianna was minimal it seemed.

She could feel the vibrations of the capital, Lianna city filled her senses. She could smell the river so unusual for a planet of such industry to have a river dividing two of its major cities.

Maybe she would take a boat on the river too! The elements were still everywhere, the life within the river, the trees, the people, life Serena felt life all around her. Even though she was not the bright light of the Jedi she had contemplated a long time as to what she was.

Her thoughts drifted to [member="Darth Mythos"] and all that they had discussed. It was so rare to find someone who shared her passion for archaeology. Someone that she could talk to about history, geology, plants, anything that amused them both. He had left his mark on her each night it grew more and more difficult to know the right thing to do.

She did not know she only knew that today was a day of rest, who knew who she would come across today. She had to have some fun, a bit of adventure. This was a day that [member="Coren Starchaser"] would love .

All he wanted to do was have a look at Kyra’s past. She wasn’t telling him much, but she had been on Lianna before leaving, and Connor wanted to see the place for himself. What attracted her? Was she well known? Did she have any secrets hiding in the city?

Connor took his E-wing down with a gently arc, coming onto the outskirts and looking down over the metropolis below as he came in. There was no mission; no slavers to find, no holocron to uncover or pirates to remove – just a curiosity into the girl who’d come back into his life and needed help.

Minutes later, he was on the landing pad and showing his credentials to the warden who was armed but a reasonable fellow. He left his greatcoat and lightsaber hidden in his safety compartment on the E-wing and rolled up his sleeves on the charcoal grey combat suit he wore.

He started a gentle walk from the landing pad and decided to follow the river that was attracting people going about their own business.

So far, so good.

Serena found a place along the river to watch the boats. Her trip with [member="Coren Starchaser"] had them testing out a new boat. That had been so much fun a day that would stay forever tucked for her to treasure it had given her a bond that allowed them a special relationship.

Water, and boats a good day.

Serena watched the skies above nothing seemed to be out of place, everything quite lovely. What had she decided to do today? Would she ride? Drive? Walk?

She use to take lots of walks, with someone, but she still couldn’t see a face or put a name to the who. That was part of the struggle too, to know that there was someone who was your friend and not remember them.

And now, she wondered with what churned inside her the emotions, the dark anger that rose up without warning. Perhaps it was better that those who knew her before did not know her now.
