[Ultimatum]

So I am planning on making a nice new body for an AI that Ultimatum will be acquiring, I would like to make it out of Beskar. Firstly I was wondering if anyone would have suggestions on how to obtain the wonder metal without overly aggravating the Mandalorians, and how I might go about forging it.

I would prefer to avoid dueling anyone for the metal, so that option is out. I remember last time I talked about this I was led to believe that Mandalorians would not willingly allow non-Mandos to mine in their lands or to teach an outsider how to forge it. I am not apposed to the old pirate a transport but I was wondering if anyone had another suggestion.

If I'm not mistaken, the Mandalorian Empire offers visas to mine on Echoy'la. That would probably be your easiest route to acquiring the stuff. As far as forging goes, there are a few outsiders who know how to work it. I'm one of them. Took a couple threads and a couple hundred posts to get that way, but I can forge it, and I'd be happy to give you a hand. Mind, for a full body made out of beskar, that would take one hell of a lot of forging... Eh, kark it. We can figure it out.

When I said body I more meant just the armoring rather than the whole construct. A thick outer layer rather than everything inside being made of it.

How much do you think will be required? I will begin looking into the Mandalorian Empire offers. Should I talk to the Faction itself or is there some outlet I need to head to?
