By Order of the Diarchs, An Invitation to the Shores of Artorias

From Zara Saga, Archon of Light, Greetings to our Valued Companions, Comrades, and Kin,

The echoes of the Diarchy Grand Declaration Ceremony have barely faded, and already we turn our gaze to the future, a future we envision built upon the strong foundations of unity, understanding, and shared purpose. The galaxy now knows of the Diarchy, of the peace and order we intend to bring, a beacon of hope amidst the chaos.

But even the most ambitious endeavors require moments of respite, opportunities to forge stronger bonds beyond the grand halls and political machinations. It is with this intention, and with great pleasure, that the Diarchs, Reign and Rellik, extend to you this most heartfelt invitation:

Join us on the sun-kissed shores of Artorias, a world of breathtaking beauty nestled amongst the stars. Imagine golden beaches meeting the shimmering embrace of the Great Sea of Artorias, the gentle symphony of waves providing a soothing counterpoint to the trials we have all faced. Here, amidst the white-stoned architecture that defines our world, we have secured a private compound, a sanctuary dedicated to the very people who stand with us.

This is not a gathering of formal decrees and pronouncements, but rather a chance to step back from the weight of responsibility, to laugh freely, to share stories, and to build lasting friendships with the men and women who will be at the forefront of shaping the Diarchy and our place in the galaxy.

Come, let us unwind together, let us share a meal, a laugh, and a moment of peace. Let us bask in the beauty of Artorias, and in the company of those we hold dear. Let us nurture the relationships that will ensure a future where the Diarchy's promise of peace, order, and prosperity becomes a reality across the stars.

The Diarchs and the High Council of the Diarchy eagerly await your company. We believe this gathering will not only be a source of much-needed rejuvenation, but also a catalyst for the unity and cooperation that will define the Diarchy's future.

With the Light of Order,

Zara Saga, Archon of Light, On Behalf of the Diarchs, Reign and Rellik.

The last shimmer of the cleaning drones faded as Zara Saga, Archon of Light, surveyed the compound. The white stone buildings, gleaming under the Artorian sun, seemed to hum with a quiet anticipation. Every room, every suite had been meticulously prepared, linens crisp, datapads charged, ready for the arrival of their valued guests. The grand dining hall, a mosaic of light and shadow, was set. Silverware sparkled, crystal glasses gleamed, and the scent of exotic flowers, flown in that morning from a nearby world, filled the air. Chefs, hand-picked by Reign himself, were putting the finishing touches on the evening's feast.

Yet, despite the careful preparations, Zara felt a slight flutter of anxiety. This was not a formal summit, or a council meeting. This was something… more. A gathering meant to forge bonds, to relax, to let down their guards. It was a risk, but a necessary one. The Diarchy, even in its nascent stages, needed more than just political allegiances. It needed camaraderie, understanding, and the genuine connections that only moments like these could foster. It was Zara's firm belief that friendship, not just duty, would be the bedrock of their shared future.

She took a deep breath, the salt-tinged breeze from the Great Sea of Artorias filling her lungs, and a small smile touched her lips. It was time. The last of the setting sun painted the sky in shades of orange and purple, a breathtaking spectacle that could only be seen from this world. It was the perfect backdrop for the first act of the evening, a rooftop cocktail hour she had personally arranged.

Zara moved quickly and efficiently, her boots clicking softly on the white stone path. She reached the stairs leading to the rooftop bar, a place carved into the side of the compound that offered a panoramic view of the horizon. The bar itself, crafted from polished obsidian, reflected the vibrant sky. Bartenders, hand-picked for their skill and discretion, were already in place, ready to mix fantastical cocktails from across the galaxy. The air was filled with the gentle hum of repulsor lifts powering the lighting and cooling systems that were vital to combat the heat of the Artorian day. Lounges, plush and inviting, were arranged so guests could mingle and connect.

A final check. The bar was stocked with the finest spirits from the far reaches of the Diarchy, the variety astounding. From the fiery nectar of the volcanic planets to the smooth, glacial elixirs of the ice worlds, there was something to pique every taste. The music, soft and lilting, was just right – unobtrusive yet engaging. Zara nodded in satisfaction, her fingers brushing the cool metal of a nearby lighting fixture. Everything was in its place.

She straightened, her expression softening into a welcoming smile. This was it. The first test of their shared hope, a chance to become more than just allies. It was a chance to be friends. As she turned to greet her first arriving guests she felt a surge of optimism. The setting sun would soon vanish below the horizon, but in its place would rise the promise of a new dawn – a dawn forged in laughter, shared stories, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, all beneath the watchful gaze of her Diarchs.

To say that the Diarch needed this reprieve was an understatement. After the fireworks of the Grand Declaration, he and his brother felt the whole Diarchy needed a break. Constant war planning and updates had worn every member of the high council thin, not to mention the soldiery and navy.

At the Diarch's behest, the newly elevated Archon of Light had procured and planned something of a beach day for the men and women of the Diarchy. And he could say, it was very well done. A day of light was needed amid so much darkness.

Approaching the Archon, he gave her a nod of greeting and said
"You have done well, you should be proud, now let's have a drink before Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik gets here and finishes the lot"

With that, he moved towards the bar and ordered himself a Corellian Whiskey, his usual favorite, and sat staring out upon the waves, losing himself briefly in a sense of profound peace.

"CANNON BALL!"

Gavin's booming voice echoed across the tranquil shores of Artorias, reverberating against the cliffs and rippling across the shimmering waves. His muscular frame hurtled off the high mountain ridge, clad in vibrant swim trunks that contrasted sharply with his scar-covered skin, each marking a story of battles fought and survived.

The Great Sea stretched endlessly before him, its turquoise waters glistening under the midday sun. Palm trees swayed gently along the white sandy beach, and clusters of white-stone structures dotted the shoreline, a perfect blend of nature and Diarchy architecture.

Gavin hit the water with a resounding splash, drenching the nearby rocks and anyone unlucky enough to be standing too close. As he resurfaced, he threw his head back in laughter.

“Now that’s how you make an entrance!” he shouted, turning back toward the shore where others were gathered. He waved his arms enthusiastically. “Come on, don’t be boring—get in here!”

The scent of the sea air mingled with the faint aroma of grilled food coming from the compound’s dining area. The sound of laughter, soft music, and distant chatter painted a picture of camaraderie, a stark contrast to the chaos and discipline of Gavin’s usual life. He dove back under the waves, marveling at how weightless he felt in the water, relishing every moment of freedom.

Today, there were no wars to fight, no orders to follow—just the open sea, the sun above, and a rare chance to be free.

Finally, I can leave for summer vacation earlier than expected. I decided to take Nyva with me so she can indirectly enjoy it too. All I hope is that it turns out to be a real break. As for me, I've shown up in beachwear, opting for light clothing for the occasion. By the way, it's Nyva who's carrying the basket with all our things.

This idea of an impromptu vacation is a welcome one because I was starting to feel a bit stifled in the faction's laboratory.

I spot the local warrior putting on a show, diving headfirst into the water while shouting at the top of his lungs to draw attention to himself.

I haven't even had time to set down my things, and they've already started.

I set up two lounge chairs, put on a pair of sunglasses, and change into my swimsuit to make the most of the beach. Nyva does the same she lies down on a chair and allows herself to relax because I told her to.

"Hello, everyone!"

I sit on one of the lounge chairs I set up, apply sunscreen to protect myself and avoid getting burned it would be a shame otherwise then start heading slowly toward the water to swim a little.

Meanwhile, Nyva takes the opportunity to enjoy a tanning session.

The Diarch was many things. A warrior, man of science, "magician" but above all - he was bald! While the others had begun enjoying their day Rellik was pre-occupied trying to ensure the protective material he was applying on his skin and head would protect him from getting burned by the sun. "Gah, can walk out of a burning building but cant enjoy a beach day without layers of this stuff!" After putting on his fighter pilot sunglasses he would check in the mirror one last time for any spots he might have missed. "Nice." giving himself two finger guns in the mirror he departed to hang out with everybody else.

Coming out unto the rooftop for the cocktail hour he noticed Zara and Reign already in discussion. The panoramic view of the skyline was amazing. A paradise within their space that everyone they loved could come and enjoy. This is what the Diarchy fought for. A small chuckle came out upon seeing Gavin's cannonball. He fit in so well with them, a vigorous heart and spirit.

Stopping short of the others Rellik would partake in the hot lava nectar of Taspir III and order himself a Fiery Mustafarian. Something he was becoming known for drinking. As he approached Zara and Reign he would do a little dance in his maroon swimming trunks, laughing in the spirit of the event as he arrived. Strong frame, tattoos and a small bit of sun protection still on his nose he asked his brother and compatriot - "How do I look?" all while doing a little twirl and dance.

What better way to spend a beautiful summer day than sunbathing on the beach? With my Master's blessing, there's no reason not to enjoy myself a little. I notice a few people already here and there, so I take the opportunity to set up some lounge chairs and lie down on one to soak up the sun.

After all, I was ordered to relax, so there's nothing wrong with this. A bit of well-deserved rest will do us good. For the occasion, I'm dressed in black swimwear, ready to enjoy the beach. I also brought a towel for when I decide to go for a swim.

I set up a beach umbrella to shade the lounge chairs, creating a spot where we can retreat from the sun if needed.

I hear someone splashing into the water just as my Master's own master arrives as well.

"Good day, Lord Rellik. And others."

I make sure not to forget my manners, offering a polite nod in their direction. Then, I slip on a pair of sunglasses and sink into the lounge chair.

I had considered setting up a barbecue with some grilled food to enjoy a proper feast, but I'm not sure if anyone else planned for that. At least I thought to bring lounge chairs and a parasol that's already something.

I silence the notifications on my datapad; I don't want to be disturbed today. That said, I take the chance to snap a photo as a keepsake it's not every day I get to see my Master in swimwear. Usually, I see her entirely unclothed when she needs me to fetch her a towel or something similar.

As the one carrying the beach basket for myself and the Master, I've ensured we're perfectly equipped for this afternoon. All that's left is to enjoy it.

"You look Good, Master Rellik."

Seeing the ease with which the Diarch Reign moved, a subtle smile tugged at her lips. "Thank you for the kind words." she echoed, her voice carrying a genuine warmth. Following him to the bar, she ordered a local red wine, a contrast to his whiskey, that spoke to her own preference for something a little more subtle, a little more refined.

Her gaze swept across the rooftop venue, taking in the vibrant scene unfolding below on the beach. She nodded thoughtfully. "I quite like this place," she agreed, her mind already turning to strategy. "We should hold discussions with the King here to see about bringing them under our wing here soon." A flicker of ambition ignited her eyes, quickly masked by the return of her earlier warmth as she watched Gavin's exuberant cannonball plunge into the water below. The sight of the others enjoying themselves brought a deep satisfaction. They deserved this respite.

Just as she was about to address hiding the drinks away before Rellik's arrival, the Diarch appeared, his approach more a performance than a stroll. He was followed by a Mirialan woman, and Zara's eyes widened, trying to decipher who the new arrival was. The Mirialan woman was quick to compliment Rellik on his looks and Zara returned the question with a light laugh, her eyes dancing with amusement as she noted the generous application of sun protection. "Dashing as ever." she teased, a playful glint in her eye. It was a welcome change to see the Diarch outside of his war planning mode, even if he did resemble a heavily sun-screened warrior.

Zara discreetly motioned to the bartender, a gesture that promised generous pours. These leaders needed to truly disconnect and let loose before the inevitable return to the realities of war. Their spirits needed to be as strong as their resolve.

"What is a fiery Mustafarian?" she blurted out, curiosity and a sliver of playful skepticism coloring her voice. "I'm not sure I want any food or drink from.... Mustafar." she joked, a slight wrinkle forming between her brows at the thought of the lava planet.

Finally, she turned her attention to the Mirialan, a warm smile gracing her features as she extended her hand. "Zara Saga, Archon of Light. Who might you be?" Her tone was welcoming, genuine interest shining through. The air around the bar crackled with good spirits, thanks to Zara's preparations as well as everyone's willingness to let their hair down, even if Rellik's hair was non-existent.

The organizer approaches me and asks who I am. Understandable, really it means I'm doing my job well. I sit up from my deck chair, and when she introduces herself, I incline my head politely to thank her for sharing her name. I'm not sure of her rank, but that's of little concern; her introduction is sufficient.

"My name is Nyva Shei. I am Miss Thrynn's assistant a healer and sniper in her service. By extension, I also serve the Diarchy."

For this occasion, however, I didn't bring my weapon. After all, we're supposed to be on vacation, and security is already handled. I politely explain that Lyssara is my superior and that she invited me to attend so I could enjoy the event as well.

It's no surprise she doesn't know me. I spend most of my time either in the laboratory or in the infirmary, rarely venturing out to social gatherings. I hold no grudge over her unfamiliarity.

"I work primarily in the lab or on the field It's no wonder we haven't crossed paths until now."

The truth is, I'm here because my mistress asked me to assist with carrying some of the equipment, though it was mostly an excuse to let me join in the festivities. She could've easily managed it all herself. For that, I'm deeply grateful. She's allowed me a rare moment of leisure, and I'm more than happy to spend it in her company.

I turn to Zara, offering her a warm smile and extending my hand in greeting.

"It's a pleasure to meet you."
