First, click that link (SHOWDOWN AT SKYE). I made that and it's awesome and I'm proud of it and I'm not sorry.

I apologize for not having created an OOC discussion thread here before beginning the IC thread. I would like to coordinate entry and plotting in the thread, as we do have something of an established plot in mind. While much of the action will be free-form once it begins, we have a specific method in mind to set up the attack and I would respectfully ask that people joining please discuss their entry here in order to mesh everyone's stories together in a cohesive way. Some entries have already begun, and may not be congruent with the way the thread is going, so please stay tuned.

I'll tag the people in the thread already, but please do join this OOC thread even if you haven't joined yet and we can coordinate to tell an amazing story! Woo!

I've read over your work, and it seems like it'd be plausible for the Underground to offer support once the thread reaches an appropriate point. I'd be interested in dropping by after open hostilities break out, maybe to help with evacuation if the thread goes that way. Sound fine to you?

Hello everyone!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited about this thread! Also, a tiny bit confused.

Here is MY UNDERSTANDING of what's going on. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

[member="Damon Riggs"] and [member="Alexandra Russo"] (with Black Squadron's Besh and Cresh flights) will be leading Besh Team the attack on Rithati Ridge Fueling Station, to draw the attention of First Order forces at Skye.

[member="General Beyyr"], aboard the Bullet Time, will launch an attack with [member="Dex Bastion"] and some of Black Squadron to clear a path for the Resistance strike team (Aurek Team) to get to the orbital facility where the First Order is keeping the Resistance's confiscated ships, pending the decryption of their comuters.

[member="Sor-Jan Xantha"] will follow closely on Bullet Time in Alderaan Queen (thank you, Sor-Jan!) with the remaining members of Aurek Team: [member="Nara Basaar"], [member="Zamza Ra'Kira"], [member="Khindys Kaai"], [member="Tugoro Taidarious"] and myself, and land at orbital facility. Some will split off to find the tractor beam controls, others will slice into the network to see what kind of intel we can find (and disable the mag locks/override hangar defenses), then we either a) steal the ships or b) blow them up and escape aboard the Alderaan Queen (thank you, Sor-Jan!). Meanwhile the First Order will be trying to stop us obviously.

Also, meanwhile, the message from [member="Kira Vaal"] will come into the command center at Echo Base and Six-Eye will be like "Well shit." because we'll all be gone by the time it arrives.

Did I get it right? [member="Aram Kalast"], anything you'd like to add or amend?

Also, [member="Kyle Amedis"], [member='TR-8R "Hunter"'], [member="Marius"], [member="Cloudburner"], [member="OK-3103"] and assorted First Order partners!

On my side, everything's fine but I can't proceed until First Order commences their assault so I am just waiting for them to get a few posts up as it's been just Resistance posts recently.

P.S Thread is pretty decent, agreed, I would love to see how it ends up.

That's what I have too, [member="Evelin Redstar"]. Just moved things along a bit. Let's have [member="Alexandra Russo"] and [member="Damon Riggs"] start their attack on the fueling station, give [member="Aram Kalast"] and the First Order a chance to respond, and then go ahead with the attack on the impound ring. My understanding is that the First Order's main fleet defenses (including Aram's massive ship) are currently around the impound ring, while the fueling station is on the far side of Skye, and that is why the distraction should in theory work.

This is what I'm picturing for Rithati Ridge, but since it's a First Order station I defer to their faction leaders if they disagree.

So this is not a factory sub as of yet? Because I was wondering what the spec's were for the attack run, or I guess I can just wing it with vague generality.
