Intent: To create a body guard/assassin droid for paying customers.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Browncoat Arms | Cade Lee Designer

Model: SI/BTI-X041 "Mirari" Bodyguard Droid

Affiliation: Browncoat Arms

Modularity: Yes, armaments can change. Can put on clothing to hide that it's a droid, and voice can be changed to suit the customer.
Production: Minor
Material: Titanium(Frame), Laminanium(outer skin) Desh/Maranium blend(outer plates) Agrinium(Head cover, plating on joints, and on chest.)

Description: Standing at over two meters tall, the "Mirari" Bodyguard Droid is quite the imposing figure. When one looks at this imposing droid, they automatically pass the eyeball test. Weighing over two hundred kilograms, the Mirari is a good deterrent just based off of it's appearance. The humanoid appearance, combined with the two layers of armor over it, make it nice and durable. The lamanium outer skin allows for self repairs while allowing for the alloy to wrap neatly over the frame to streamline it's appearance. The desh/maranium blended outer plates provide a cheap means of further armoring the front of the droid, while leaving some of it's rear exposed. This outer armor is not the strongest, but serves as a buffer until the lamanium is breached. The agrinium coating over the heat and chest protects from radiation and electrical damage to give the droid some resistance to ion based weapons that would other wise incapacitate it in one hit. While not all over it's frame, it does protect the "head" of the droid and allows it to not be disabled in one shot.

The combat algorithms in the droid are based off assassin droids, and the "Mirari" is well versed in using all of Blas-Tech's weaponry. Should someone buy the droid and wish for it to know how to use..say Czerka slugthrowers they just need to install an update in the droids programming. This ability to use many weapons means it doesn't have any built in, and will carry a few on it at times like any humanoid would. This goes along with the fact that typically they are put in clothing to try and diminish their intimidating appearance while at public functions or meetings. The "Mirani" also has advanced recognition software that works in tandem with it's other sensors so it can pick out the person it is designated to protect. This function ensures they only take orders from those they are to protect, as well as keep them from firing on the person they were purchased for.

Designed to take on opponents and kill, it will use its size and weapons to clear a path and get it's charge to safety. On the rare occasions it is ordered to assassinate someone, it will use it's detection software to find it's said target. The "Mirari" is no stealth droid, and even with the sound dampeners it's equipped with it won't easily sneak up on a target. The magnetized feet allow for it to function in zero gravity environments and the magnets on the back allow it to store a few weapons. The droid also doesn't have any training in melee weapons save for a regular knife, vibroknife, or just using it's size and strength to harm opponents when it's weapons are out of ammo or taken from it. This limits it's strengths to ranged combat, and it's virtually useless in defending itself from a lightsaber wielder if they get close enough destroy it.

Programmed to protect it's charge, it does little to defend itself. It will use it's frame to protect the individual under it's charge, and can only see what it's sensors pick up. Light armoring on the back is a major weakness, and it is very weak against a few concentrated ion weapons. The high cost of each of these droids limits their production to minor, and they function only alone making them easy to overrun.

Different load-outs:

Defender Loadout: 2- BTI-WB, 1- BTI-CES, 1- BTI-CC13
Ranged Loadout: 2- BTI-CR, 1- 1-BTI-CC13, 1-BTI-LRBR

Any number of combinations can be used, as those two are just a sample. It can generally hold two rifles and two pistol weapons, and if it carries one heavy weapon then it must sacrifice one of the weapons thus limiting it to three total weapons.

Classification: Class Four

Weight: 200KG

Height: 2.5M

Movement: Bipedal

Armaments: Whatever it carries with it, all weapons are carried on the outside.

Misc. Equipment: Audio/Visual Sensor suite. Heat and night vision. Advanced Search and Identify programming for determining friend or foe. Advanced Computational package. Telescopic Photoreceptors. Sound dampeners, Magnetized feet. (Same feature is present on it's back as well, to hold weapons.) Conductive mesh under the laminanium to reduce EMP and electrical damage.
