Sifting Through Ashes and Lava For My Precious

Darth Timoris

To err is human, to forgive divine. And I'm no god
Melori remained horizontal. Maybe it was the fact that her elder two sisters loved artefacts? Or maybe she was just a Sith of simple tastes, but for the Sith Lord - all she cared about was killing Jedi. She had as many Abilities as she needed and other than finding Maul's saber, she could think of no historic artefact that would excite her enough to get her to move off the bed right now.

So she lay there, resting as Sumiko was clearly enjoying the spoils of the fight. For Melori, the fight was the spoils. Each victory proved her worth, enabled her to understand her strengths and learn to overcome her weaknesses.

Mind you, if there was a cold beer hidden in the room, she'd take that as a prize right now.

"You think there's more, or are we done?" Her voice was fragile, raspy.

It seemed the younger Raaf felt like Siobhan did whenever [member="Phylis Alince"] started nerdgasming about this or that artefact or piece of obscure historical trivia only a small fraction of the Galaxy's population was interested in. This one has concluded it would be hilarious if Sumiko ran into one of the more geeky Raaf sisters, say at an archaeological dig. Presumably she would have to learn false light side aura first. Then again, she could hide her Force Signature.

Anyhow, eventually Sumiko could get her nerdgasming under control and realise that there was someone else in the room. Someone who was very tired and probably could use some rest and a drink! So she stuffed the cool Dreypa Talisman into her rucksack. Hopefully things would go better for the Atrisian than for Remulus Dreypa.

"I think we're done here. If you want to claim any of the other toys, feel free." The Sith Lady did not seem the treasure seeker type, but still. "Don't know about you, but a drink would be nice. I'd like to thank you for help, I had plenty of fun. Wouldn't have gotten it done without you." Geeky toys seemed to put Sumiko in a good mood, despite the obvious pain she was in. Taking a very deep breath she managed to get to her feet, ready to help the Sith up if needed. Rummaging inside her rucksack, she finally found a flask, unscrewed the top and drunk a bit herself, then passed it over to Melori. It contained good whiskey.

Melori remained flat on the bed. Her arm was now raised and she waved her hand dismissively. “No, you’re fine; I have all the toys I need.” There was probably a euphemism there, but she was too tired to notice.

She tried to sit up but failed – and in truth wasn’t sure why she should get up. It was old and musty, but the bed was soft and inviting.

But her companion had other ideas and pulled her up into a seated position. And she took the flask readily and after a gulp realised it was whiskey and not water. Almost literally breathing fire, she shook her head but went back for a sip regardless.

It was indeed good stuff. “Team-work. Not always a Sith strength. Not even a Jedi strength some of the time – the amount of time they spend splitting and fracturing just to gain power for themselves.” She shrugged.

“And thanks – we worked well together. If any of my Acolytes need some guidance on Sith magic, I may well be pointing them in your direction.”

Sumiko let the Sith Lady have her drink, then took a sip herself from her flask. Good stuff, even though it felt like breathing fire, and they happened to be on a volcano planet! Totally fitting then. Having stuffed her loot away in her rucksack, she gave Timoris a nod. They seemed to be of similar mind when it came to the two Force cults.

Especially Jedi. Always splitting and fracturing over petty dogmatic debates. Or getting indecisive about what their job was. "Do give me a call if needed. I should be able to give them some pointers," she replied sweetly. Normally not an offer Sumiko would make since she was not a teacher type, but she seemed to like the Sith. That and she wanted to get Master rank at last. It would be a nice Christmas present. Well, Life Day present, whatever.

Bundori was looking at the map as she nodded her head looking around and seeing everything they had to work with as her attention went to the droid marks on the floor. A smile appearing on her face as she was skipping towards the rooms as she had her orders from her master. They were going to the labs and getting a great look at everything while she held the chainsword stopping at one of the hallways. THe chill of the floor under her feet while she was smiling from behind her bangs of bubblegum pink hair before she rushed inside at a droid slamming the blade into the creatures back as the teeth were chewing through the armor to get at the juicy oil that sprayed around them until she was standing there with black oil spraying all around her.

Kendrix heard Raisnaneth, her eyes still darting between the creature and the stone on the other side of it then to their surroundings, “No, this is not their home…”

The second she said that the other three Xandank prepared their ambush. This was their hunting grounds. Kendrix took the other saber from her belt igniting it. She whispered profanity in her native tongue. The shape prevented her from holding the saber like she was use to. She hated how the device curved.

Before she could get her hands correct the creature lunged at Kendrix and Zarrah. Kendrix switch to a force push launching the creature back and effectively pissing it off along with it’s buddies. Kendrix moved out from drawing a large circle of her head with the lightsaber then bringing it down into the withers of the creature. The creature hissed and writhed in pain before Kendrix could deliver the blade through its thick skull, "Losto vê."

The other three stood back now circling them. Their clicking seemed to be more precise. Kendrix didn’t have a good feeling about this.

Zarrah was impressed with the way the young girl handled herself against the creature. When she had instructed Avreet in lightsabre combat - she bestowed the knowledge onto him to always end your fights quickly. Dancing around was best left to ballrooms and social gatherings. It appeared that Avreet had trickled down that knowledge to his Apprentice. "Well done child. Now let me show you the real power of the Dark Side."

Zarrah saw the creatures circling around them with using tactical intuition. Zarrah slowly put her weapon away and in the next move raised her hands over her head - her eyes lolling back into her head. "Migla iv tave jen' garthaz nu reiklauti j'us negu nun. Zuti dabar ir kristi." In the ancient tongue of the Sith Zarrah summoned one of the most deadliest spells known to master Sith Sorceresses - Dark Side Tendrils. From underneath each of the creatures a black mist began to manifest around them. From the mist shot serpentine tendrils lashing out and around the bodies of the insects.

The bodies of their enemies began to dismember with each touch of the tendril. Death was instantaneous. When the last of the creatures was reduced to nothing - the tendrils retreated back into the mist - and the mist itself slowly vanished. Zarrah crooked a smile on her face as she spoke. "Forgive me. I failed to see the need to get to close to those insects." Zarrah scanned the area. "Ah. I believe there is something ov value here. For you, perhaps?"
