Valery felt the shift in Ilfrit's presence almost immediately. The wild storm of his emotions gave way to a sudden clarity, and as he moved, his strikes were no longer erratic but precise, purposeful. The glow of his lightsabers and the streak of blue light trailing behind him painted a mesmerizing picture of grace and ferocity combined. A faint smile touched her lips, pride and trust in her ally flickering through her amber eyes.

"Good," she murmured, more to herself than to him.

The Sith, for all their confidence, faltered under the coordinated assault. Ilfrit's relentless speed and unpredictability forced the dark figure onto the defensive, their blade moving rapidly to intercept the strikes aimed at their flanks. Meanwhile, Valery pressed forward, her movements deliberate as she timed her strikes to complement Ilfrit's relentless flanking maneuvers.

The corridor became a symphony of flashing blades and the hum of energy. Sparks flew with every clash, and the Force swirled around them like a tempest, amplifying the intensity of the battle. Valery's movements were fluid and efficient, her violet blade dancing between offense and defense as she pushed the Sith further off balance.

"Keep it up, Ilfrit!" she called out, her voice steady and resolute.

Seeing the Sith's focus waver under the combined pressure, Valery seized the opportunity. She feinted high, drawing their blade upward, then pivoted with a Force-imbued burst of speed to strike low, aiming for their exposed leg. The Sith twisted awkwardly to block, their stance losing its confidence.

"Now, Ilfrit!" Valery shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos. She created a deliberate opening, her blade locking the Sith's weapon high, leaving their flank vulnerable. The moment was his to take.

As Ilfrit lay in a trance, a deadly dance began between the three fighters, he attacked again and again and again, using all his energy, striking and dodging without pause until he saw Valery feint. He took advantage of this moment to leap back, placing his feet on the ceiling for a second using his claws to stay attached. He gathered some Force, preparing his final assault.

When he heard Valery's voice, he was ready.

He propelled himself forward, straight at the Sith's flank, both sabers crossed in front of him emitting blue and green lights. Putting all his strength into Celerity, leaving a trail of blue neon.

He struck in a cross, at the level of the Sith's pelvis, cutting it in two as he stopped just in front of his target, narrowly avoiding hitting him with his head after his propulsion.

His vision began to blur and his head was spinning a little, fatigue was taking hold of him, he had pushed himself a little too far and had drawn heavily on his strength, he was breathing heavily and his ears were overheating as he looked towards Valery and the Sith without a word, a strange expression on his face, a mixture of confusion because of the fatigue, sadness because he had just killed someone and pride after defeating a Sith.

"We... won ?" He asked to Valery before staggering, exhausted, turning off his sabers and leaning against a wall, his fur and eyes turning into grey again.

The little Kushiban really seems really exhausted, too much feelings and stress and the fight was not easy.
An inner voice awoke within him, his own voice, telling him that he wasn't good enough, that he wasn't a Jedi, that he wasn't ready, that he wasn't a good fighter. He was only good at drowning in his own feelings. Speaking of feelings, an immense sadness began to grow within him. He missed Hayden, he missed having a Master, he felt alone again despite the presence of Valery.

Valery exhaled slowly as the Sith's body crumpled to the floor, her lightsaber humming softly in the tense aftermath. She let the energy of the battle drain away, allowing the calm of the Force to flow through her once more. Her fiery amber eyes turned to Ilfrit as his question broke the heavy silence.

"We did," she said softly, her voice carrying both reassurance and pride. She deactivated her blade and clipped it back to her belt, stepping closer to him. It was impossible to miss his exhaustion — the way he leaned against the wall, his breathing labored, and his fur now dulled to gray.

"Ilfrit," Valery began, crouching slightly to meet his gaze, her tone warm and steady. "You did incredibly well. You stayed focused, you trusted yourself, and together, we overcame something very difficult. I'm proud of you." But as she looked deeper into his eyes, she saw the conflict within him — the sadness, the doubts, the weight of emotions that threatened to pull him under. Her expression softened further, and she rested a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Her fiery gaze flicked briefly to the fallen Sith, then back to him. "Let's rest for a moment, catch our breath, and then we'll move on together. Alright?"

Her hand gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze, her presence radiating calm and understanding. She wouldn't let him face this alone.

He sligthly jumps when Valery approach him, he was ready to be scolded because he lost his temper at the start but when she puts her hand on his shoulder and he hear her voice, he look at her, a bit shocked.

"You're... not mad ? Because I was too angry ?" Then he follows her gaze on the Sith's corpse. "Yeah... yeah, that would be nice... to rest a bit... I'm tired." He said it in an exhausted tone, his gaze betraying his weariness. He sits on the cold floor of the Drift, breathing heavily.

The sudden silence, after the shock of the blades, leaves him with a weird feeling, like the calm after the storm, he can feel the fatigue, especially in his head. He had too much memories, too much flashbacks and he is exhausted both physically and psychologically. He can fall asleep at any moment now, with the adrenaline, slowly fading away.

He looks at the ground and valery can sense his sudden sadness, he feels useless right now, the overflow of emotions clearly left a mark on him.

Valery's fiery gaze softened even further at Ilfrit's question, and she shook her head gently. "No, Ilfrit, I'm not mad," she said softly, her tone full of reassurance. She crouched beside him, resting her forearms on her knees to be at his level. "Anger is something we all struggle with, especially when we're faced with difficult situations or memories. What matters is that we learn to control it."

Her hand returned to his shoulder, squeezing it gently as she offered him a warm smile. "You're stronger than you realize. This fight wasn't just against the Sith — it was against everything inside you that tried to pull you down. And you won. That's not something to overlook."

As he sat down, his exhaustion evident in every breath and movement, Valery settled beside him on the cold floor. She could feel the weight of his sadness, the weariness etched into his very presence, and she allowed the Force to flow from her to him in gentle, soothing waves.

She tilted her head slightly, her voice quieter now, almost a whisper, "Is everything okay?"
