Private Silence, Noise, Voices

She had been snatched off the field of battle and could have sworn she was dead. Yet when she pinched herself, she felt pain. This wasn't a dream yet it wasn't any place she had ever been to. In fact, around her was basically nothing. Sight and sound were distorted. Narrowing her eyes, she thought she saw light.

Winds swirled around her but no dust or debris was stirred. Around her was nothing. Following the light, she did not know where it led but she wanted out and away from this place.

Feeling empty, like she really had lost her life, the wind blew against her face, then came at her from behind. Lost in the grey light, she searched for the light she had just seen. Once again finding it, she approached it slowly. A sudden gust threw her out and onto the street. The Knight stumbled apparently out of thin air and fell to the ground.

Taking a few deep breaths, she gathered her wits about her and started to look around her. Evidently, something great had just happened. There were people staring up at the sky and some few to the land not far from her. Some were still screaming, yelling, and crying.

"Great. I came from war and into another. Where am I? When am I?"

Muttering this to herself, she noticed another form on the ground nearby to her. A few of the bystanders were approaching the prone figure but didn't yet notice her. Gathering the rest of her wits about her, she cleared her head. Sitting up, she checked for her weapon to find it still clutched in her hand. Keeping hold of it, she made her way to the person.

Running...more of a stumble actually, but she made her way as quick as she could to him.

"What happened?"

Suddenly, she felt a blanket getting thrown over her shoulders. Reaching a hand out, she felt for a pulse and let out another sigh. Wrapping the blanket around, she finally realized why it had been placed on her. All of her clothes were gone. Those terrible winds must have stripped her.

The woman that had provided the blanket knelt down and quickly filled Seo in on what had transpired. Pointing to Lan-Dai, she said he had been one of those involved.

"He needs help. Is there a hospital nearby?"

Her hair fell into her eyes and she came to a conclusion she had been gone far longer than she had thought. Falling onto her rear end, a hand was placed on her shoulder and another pointed to a vehicle that was just pulling up.

"Go with him, young lady, and find yourself some clothes. I will come to collect the blanket later."

With that, the woman was gone into the crowd and medical people surrounded them. Both of them were wrapped up into blankets, the man was placed on a stretcher and then taken to the hospital. Through everything, all Seo could think of was what happened. To her and to the man. Time would tell and she would get her answers. Jedi or not, she would be patient.

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

A duel.....

An engagement against an adversary once stared down by a forefather....

There had been no victory, no defeat.... Only mutual survival against the other's onslaught.....

One strong with the Force, still on the journey to find his way, had stood his ground and surprisingly held his own against unsurmountable odds.... But at a considerable price....

Finding himself entirely in mist and a black overhead, a young Force user looked to get his bearings as he tried to both remember the recent ordeal and tried to make sense of where he was now.

Lan-Dai Navras, a Rogue Padawan without a Master, now found himself possibly clinging to life as both the injuries sustained in his ordeal and the overextertion of his powers both took their toll at once. Having no consciousness whatsoever, Lan-Dai was now completely oblivious to what was happening in his physical surroundings.

Still trapped in that apparently infinite, dark, and misty dwelling, Lan-Dai stood both still and erect as yet another presence neared.

"No, Lan-Dai......" said the voice. "Now is not your time..... There is still much for you to learn and encounter before your time is done....... Just in case you're wondering...."

The voice revealed itself, and it came from the spirit of his ancestor, Deo-Law Navras. It was he who first faced his new enemy: Volgang Hawool. Having defeated Volgang, Deo-Law saw his imprisonment in carbonite before sensing through the Force a proclamation of retribution, a proclamation that he now looked to uphold.

"What is this place? What am I doing here?" Lan-Dai asked serenely, no expressions of fear or uncertainty in his tone or visage.

"In your duel, you used what powers you have mastered on levels that you were not yet ready for...... While you were able to execute these powers successfully, your energy in the Force drained at a far faster rate than otherwise should have....." Deo-Law replied just as serenely. "This coupled with the physical damage you received caused both your body to experience a near shut down and your mind to slip into a trance while it recovers.... Bear in mind that you run the risk of falling into similar states in the future should you ever deplete yourself like this again, though not necessarily the same as this......"

The expression on Lan-Dai's face indicated that the words of his ancestor's spirit had hit home.

"Once more I emphasize that this is not your end... Lan-Dai" Deo-Law continued. "See for yourself that you are receiving the medical assistance necessary to recover......"

Suddenly Lan-Dai snapped awake albeit slowly, finding himself in a bacta tank and connected to a breather. The moment was fleeting as he once again lost consciousness and slipped back into the same surroundings he was in seconds earlier, and in front of his ancestor's ghost.

"It will take some time, but you will heal....." Deo-Law said reassuringly. "Also as a result of your experience, you will find that your capacity has increased somewhat, but you will need to fully recover before attempting to draw on your augmented abilities...... Arduous training awaits you, my descendant.... but for now, rest, and heal both your mind and your body..." Deo-Law said as his essence disappeared.

Where he stood in the dark mist, Lan-Dai sat and began to meditate... there was nothing more to do now but wait.

While the man was recovering from his severe injuries, the Knight did what she felt was best. On top of that list was getting something to wear. Once she accomplished that and she was replacing the scarf she always wore around her neck, she held a datapad in her hand.

Reaching into her new bag, she took out a snack to eat as she sat down next to Lan-Dai to read what was in it. Eyewitness accounts of the attack and fight. Observations made by people further away as well as those involved at ground zero. Not much of it made a ton of sense to Seo but she hoped the man would come to soon so she could question him.

Having been granted access to what was left of his gear, she did her reading on it. Gathering as much information as she could from it, she had made notes. Hardly having left his side, she waited for him to wake up.

Listening to the burbling of the hospital around her, as a trained healer, she had also attempted to help him with the Force. Even with her aid and that of the medics, his recovery would take a good deal of time. Putting the datapad down, she leaned over him and lightly touched his head.

"If you can hear me, justice will be served and your innocence is proven."

Sitting back down, she lifted up the datapad again to see if she could glean any additional details from the accounts within.

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

The solemn meditation that Lan-Dai now found himself in was timeless... passage of time was inconceivable in this plane where he now found himself in while in recovery. For all his focus and concentration, it could have been a century or a day to a steadfast heart and mind, yet there was no way to certify just how long had passed even by counting or keeping score as it were.

The experience was all too new to him, as he had never before heard of such a trance let alone been in one. While he didn't specifically move too much where he stood, it was obvious to him that for as much as he may run or move around in his current surroundings he would either be running into an infinite and aimless open ground full of darkness and mist, or he would encounter perhaps a tunnel that would ultimately lead him back to his point of origin.

Asking for Deo-Law's help chances are would be a futile gesture, as this felt like something Lan-Dai had to endure alone. The question the lingered was: How long must he wait here? How long would it take to heal?

Sitting and meditating with his eyes closed, key parts of the duel replayed in his mind, almost as if being displayed on screens all around him. Part of Lan-Dai wanted to be proud of himself for the way he managed to outsmart Volgang and survive against him, but just as quickly his thoughts turned to both those who provided him with aid throughout the duel as well as whatever civilians witnessed the melee, or worse, were somehow caught in the crossfire.

Suddenly Lan-Dai shuddered in meditation involuntarily, and immediately became drunk with non-linear visions he was not familiar with. All of these visions had one thing in common, they all featured a fierce battle in which the casualties were catastrophic. More than one featured Lan-Dai at the helm, and many also showcased Volgang as an antagonist. There were several key warriors standing by his side in different visions, some more recurring than others.

Lan-Dai was starting to feel the overwhelming weight of these possible premonitions, so much that even in this near astral state that he was now in his head and body began to twitch. It was then that a voice suddenly spoke to him as one of the visions began to tint, increase in size and start to approach him.

"If you can hear me, justice will be served and your innocence is proven."

This was more than enough to snap Lan-Dai awake as a white light began to approach him from his right side at an alarming rate, growing larger and brighter until it engulfed him completely and robbing him of all senses and notions.

On a hospital bed, the unconscious body of Lan-Dai Navras suddenly inhaled slowly yet deeply. His eyes slowly opening, yet from the corner both a foreign yet somewhat visage slowly came into focus. The woman that was there was one of those in his visions either detailing an event that could occur moments from now, on some time yet to come.

Either way, answers were in order for them both...... Or so Lan-Dai sensed.

Shortly after the Jedi broke the silence of the room, the breathing of the patient changed. While he had been breathing on his own since he had been removed from the bacta tank, but it had been closer to the breathing of one sleeping than anything else. When that happened, Seo put the datapad down and moved to be next to the bed.

Resting her hand lightly on his wrist to prevent him from moving much, should he attempt to, she waited for him to maybe open his eyes. Noticing that was happening slowly, she waited another moment before speaking again. Keeping her hand on his wrist, she introduced herself.

"My name is Seo Linn and I am a Jedi Knight. I somehow ended up near to you and made sure you were taken care of. Now, I have decided to assist you as much as possible. Your battle caused quite a lot of turmoil and destruction. Yet, it wasn't entirely your fault. Who was the woman that was taken captive and the man that did it?"

Perhaps she was moving too fast for a man that had just come out of a coma. However, time was important and people were wanting these questions answered.

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

All at once joint sensations began to take hold, from the after effects of the prolonged inertia to the physically drained state he was still in, and yet the hand that lay on his wrist transmitted an undeniable and reassuring calm.

The hand's owner wasted no time in introducing herself as Lan-Dai fully awoke and came to his senses, it had been quite a while since he had come into contact with a Jedi Knight.

Nodding silently, Lan-Dai straightened up to put himself in a more sitting position. Now fully aware of both his surroundings and situation, Lan-Dai's usual demeanor and expression reflourished.

"I am Lan-Dai..... Lan-Dai Navras...." He began in his usual low tone. "The woman who was held hostage is Aren D'Shade, she is a friend of mine whom I had been searching for and was unable to find for quite some time.... until then....."

Letting those words sink in, Lan-Dai paused before continuing.

"His name is Volgang Hawool, he is apparently a fallen Jedi from the times of the Jedi Civil War. Once defeated and imprisoned by my ancestor, he was apparently released from his slumber, and he now looks to exact his revenge with me as the focus..."

Lan-Dai had no intention of giving too much information regarding certain details and circumstances unless explicitly necessary.

Seo Linn Seo Linn

Just based on her investigation, she had already picked up on his name. When he mentioned the girl, she nodded and made note of it along with the attacker. Putting these into the datapad, she lowered it and listened to the additional information Lan-Dai gave her.

"She's been taken before. There was a competition that involved an old friend of mine and you if I remember correctly."

It had been quite a long time since she had thought of Mereel and she kept his name out of the conversation. Seo did not feel like he was at all involved with this current scheme and investigation. The two of them had drifted apart and she had no real interest in rekindling that relationship. Pushing aside those thoughts, she brought her attention back to the present.

"Who woke him up? Why is he after you?"

Having grown up a slave, when she was freed, she had learned a great many odd things. Time travel like this was rare but not unheard of. Displaying nothing for him to read, the Knight remained neutral and kept her voice that way too.

"Where has your friend gone now? There was no woman at the scene to be found."

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

Looking to regulate his breathing as he heard Seo's voice, the mention of Aren having been kidnapped before didn't register at first. Suddenly though, just as quickly the vague memory of the Death Run spectacle flashed before him. Perhaps the one she spoke of was one of the other "contenstants" involved, Lan-Dai only having formally met Stardust and winning each other's friendship and alliance.

Nothing more was said by Lan-Dai concerning that episode, since it was neither necessary nor did he specifically remember all that had transpired. Following a brief moment of silence on her part, the questions resumed.

"How he was freed, or by whom...... I don't know.... He didn't bother to tell me..... As I said, my ancestor had defeated and imprisoned him in carbonite centuries ago..... He wants revenge, and I being the direct descendant of his enemy am now his chosen target......"

Taking a pause to let her process his answer, Lan-Dai sat up even more as Seo's next question was one Lan-Dai couldn't bring himself to ask, let alone figure out the answer as the matter at hand was more pressing at that time.

"This is just a question for me as it is for you..... During the duel there were several unseen allies that lent a hand at some point or another, perhaps it was one of them that saved and then took her from the scene..... Either way, I will need whatever assistance I can to find Aren as well as these allies..... I fear a greater, elusive threat looms...."

Lan-Dai's statement remained stoic, and succinct..... Much like his programmed demeanor.

Seo Linn Seo Linn

Watching Lan-Dai and how he reacted to her statement was something she looked for. In his silence, he confirmed that he had been involved because of how his eyes appeared as he remembered what happened back then. Again, the contest had very little to do with what happened on Dorsis, they still connected because of three people involved.

Volgang Hawool, Lan-Dai Navras and Aren D'Shade. Pieces were coming together and it was up to Seo to finish the puzzle. And she would take all the help she could get. Picking up the datapad again, she would make a few more notes based on the answers given to her by Lan-Dai.

So many unknowns yet there were quite a few that were known. The people involved need to be discovered, outside of the three she already knew about. It seemed she might have to go back to the scene to gather more intelligence to find information about who else was there and helped Lan-Dai against Volgang.

"Do you possess anything that belonged to Aren? There is a chance I can learn something from it to lead us to her."

Both of them maintained a stoic and neutral attitude through the question and answer session. Neither one of them giving away much in terms of what they were thinking or feeling. His last comment interested her.

"What threat?"

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

Looking to sit up further, Lan-Dai attempted to recreate the visions received of a possible future. The visions that depicted a future in which a battle is fought not only between Lan-Dai and Volgang themselves, but amongst others on both sides as well. Not looking to say anything just yet, the question made by Seo caused an afterthought. Aren did not give him any token, not that he could remember..... However, Lan-Dai left something of his with her, something she did not know of and could possibly still work and could be of even more succinct use to find her if its existence remained undiscovered.

"While Aren didn't give me anything, I did leave a tracker inside her travel bag. If she has it on her it would take me directly to her........"

Suddenly it dawned on him, his belongings were nowhere to be found.

"Where is my belt? My weapons? My armor? I will need the commlink and datapad on my belt in order to call on both my droid and my ship to locate the tracker's signal......"

Hopefully most of his gear was stil intact and accounted for, not counting the armor which Lan-Dai knew better than anyone was greatly damaged and in need of repair... and possibly an upgrade if he were to face Volgang once more.

"Perhaps Volgang was freed by someone who poses a larger threat to the galaxy, someone who is in need of like-minded warriors..... I don't consider his resurgence coincidental...."

The drive to catalyze his healing had been activated, but it was still long in coming.

Seo Linn Seo Linn

Nodding when he told her that Aren had not ever given him anything of hers, it wasn't the end of the story. When he mentioned an unknown tracking device, Seo lifted an eyebrow just slightly. This was a request she should have expected yet somehow, it hadn't crossed her mind.

"Your items are with the police and once your health is stable enough, you'll be released into my custody. Until your innocence is proven, then you'll be a free man. Even in my custody, you'll still be free to come and go...you will just be supervised. In case you need to return here for anything else."

He might not like the idea but she understood why it was in place. Lan-Dai was not going to be treated as a criminal but until he was proved innocent, he needed to be watched. Seo was just the person to be in the position to do so.

Listening when he suggested his enemy had been freed by a thread, she couldn't help but agree.

"Are you sure Volgang couldn't have somehow woken up on his own?"

It would be a load off her mind if that was the case.

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

A slight feeling of impotence took Lan-Dai once Seo disclosed that his weapons and armor would be kept in custody until he was released from the medical center. While it wasn't without sense, it still left him feeling somewhat helpless and overexposed. Once more a rushed drive to heal himself faster overtook him as he inhaled slowly yet deeply while straightening himself up to sit up even further.

Being placed in Seo's custody did nothing to faze him, if anything Lan-Dai had thus far found her company pleasant albeit things were strictly business between them. While it would make things slightly uncomfortable, it was thus far the safest and easiest choice, not to mention the most preferable in comparison to any other scenario.

"Unless it has now become possible to free yourself from carbonite freezing, I highly doubt Volgang was able to come back to life alone......" Lan-Dai's thought process was interrupted by the coming presence of a dubious nature. A sixth sense activated as someone actively approached his room. Suddenly the door opened and a nurse entered holding a well adorned bottle apparently fllled with some sort of medicine.

"Good Afternoon, sir.... I'm here to administer some medicine to you to help you sleep..." The Nurse started, trying to be as both cordial and professional as possible, yet the sixth sense did nothing to dissipate.

Raising an eyebrow, Lan-Dai began to instinctively analyze the nurse head to toe...... A Nurse he never took notice of even in his short time where he was, a Nurse whose uniform somehow seemed out of place, a Nurse who was somehow trying too hard....

For the most part, Seo understood the reasons why he was denied his weapons and what was left of his armor. Honestly, there wasn't much left of those garments. There had been many points in her life where she had been exposed and without weapons. So she sympathized with the young man on the bed.

"I'll see what I can do but I cannot promise anything."

Listening to what Lan-Dai said about carbonite failing and thus freeing whoever was frozen. It was not something she had never heard of before but not outside of possibilities. This would be something to investigate further once this first session finished. Not saying anything, the Knight kept quiet and turned her attention to the nurse that entered the room.

The way the man spoke clued Seo that he might not be exactly what he appeared to be. His hesitation and not clarifying everything clearly made her hold a hand up to stop him. If the man continued to approach the bed, she would restrain him with the Force and keep him from getting any closer.

"I think not. Can you move?"

Keeping her hold on the want to be nurse, she asked to Lan-Dai.

"Give me just a moment to deal with this man."

When she said this, she casually walked over to the stranger and placed a hand on his head. There was not anything he could do to stop her and within a moment he was on the floor sleeping. Turning to Lan-Dai, she held out a hand and motioned. On the chance he couldn't move on his own, she would help him.

"Somebody had hired this man to do you harm. You need a place to lay low. Come with me and I'll help."

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

Hearing Seo's intended attempt to retrieve his belongings caused Lan-Dai to flash her a silent nod of gratitude. This moment however, would be interrupted by the nurse's arrival. Everything about this newcomer set off every alarm to the point that Lan-Dai already thought of at least 3 ways to neutralize him even in his depowered state.

Fortunately, Seo did everything for him.

Taking a breath, Lan-Dai mustered whatever energy his body could regain at this point and rose from the bed as Seo was speaking. Her statement that someone wanted him dead caused an air of visible concern, since this was obviously not Volgang's doing. Who was this third party?

"Yes, I can......" Lan-Dai said as he now stood in simply skin tight boxers, his torso and limbs well toned and only slightly scarred from the battle.

"We need to move quickly, in case more are sent.... given this new development I will now definitely be needing my gear, and thus access to my ship if we intend to leave the planet..."

While Lan-Dai could stand up straight and function at a normal pace, it was aparent that breathing was a slight struggle while on his feet.

Thankfully, Lan-Dai was able to stand and move on his own. However, he was essentially naked. Getting around the hospital and out to the streets might prove to be difficult to accomplish. Holding a hand up to stop him from advancing out of the room, the Knight opened the door to look up and down the hallway. Closing the door again, she turned to face him.

"I do not have the authority to get you your gear. What I can do is get you something to wear and access to your ship. Stay here while I go get you a robe or something to wear out of this center. Then we will get you some actual clothing. After that, we can go to your ship."

Hardly giving him a moment to reply or react, Seo was out of the room. Moving quickly to avoid getting questioned, she went to one of the closets near the nurse's station. Picking out one of the gowns, it was the best she could do right now.

Returning to his room, she threw the gown at him and checked on the sleeping man on the floor.

"He will only be asleep for a few more minutes. Once we leave here, we have to go to a market to get you something else to wear. Just saying, a hospital gown will draw some unwanted attention."

Opening the door, she searched the hallway again and motioned for him to follow her. She had already noticed where there were stairs and lead him to them. Making sure they had not gotten any glances, she pushed the door open and closed it behind them.

"If you need help because you're too tired, let me know."

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras

As Seo returned with a robe after emphasizing the attention Lan-Dai would draw to himself, the Emerallian thought of what alternatives were available given that he would not have access to his equipment.

In the midst of putting on the robe, the supposed nurse began to stir.... At this point an impromptu idea manifested.

Kneeling down as he made motions to catch his bearings and possibly stand up, Lan-Dai gave a swift chop to the back of the "nurse's" neck to keep him in his unconscious state as he then began to undress him to don the uniform he used. Minutes later, Lan-Dai was fully dressed to look like a nurse himself albeit the uniform was a slightly tight fit.

"Let's get out of here, I need to get to my ship.... There may be someone who can help, if she isn't too overwhelmed with her royal duty." Lan-Dai said as he exited the chamber they were.

As they walked the hallways of the medical center, the sensation that they were being followed and watched was undeniable. Turning around to face a small surveillance droid at a far closer proximity than usually stipulated even for a hospital, the stare down didn't last too long as the droid was shot from behind by a familiar looking astromech.

"R8!!!!" Lan-Dai called out to his loyal droid after recognizing him. R8 in turn hurried to his owner beeping excitedly.

"Where's the ship? Go back and bring it to me... We'll meet you on the rooftop, and time is a factor..."

R8 gave a few short beeps before turning to carry out his newly given orders at a hurried pace.

Turning to Seo, Lan-Dai motioned to a service elevator not far from where they stood.

"Change of plans, looks like we're going upwards and outside for some fresh air........"

Having finished her training and fixing up a ship she had found buried in the depths of Kashyyyk it was time for her to leave the planet and she did glade to be done with the Jedi who had tried to instill their doctrine into her. Setting a course feeling she had learned all she could she found there was only one planet listed in her navigation system still that it would still find a way to get to.

"So Dorsis is I guess where I'm going." she punched in the autopilot and sat back letting the ship make its way through space. She made her way through the ship she didn't have much but which she had was this ship. "you may not be much but you are mine, a relic or just something someone forgot about? I brought you back from ruin and I will do my best to take care of you."

She walked through inspecting the spaces inside it still needed some work she would need to find a shipyard to finish the repairs but the repairs that were made meant she could at least be space-faring and be free to make her own choices and not be a tool to something is. she felt this ship meant freedom. but she hadn't realized she had gotten caught up in making minor internal repairs to the ship. The flight had been long and when the onboard computer announced their arrival within the sector Dorsis was in she was brought back out of thought and from what she had been doing not realizing the number of repairs she had managed to get done.

Making her way to the pilot's seat she dropped into the chair and checked the map and how far they had to go it would still be a few hours before she arrived. So she started running various scans on the ship's systems diags and build in maintenance routines. these completed once she got in range of Dorsis and got permission to land the ship landed and people were talking about how it looked like a relic of an old war and wondered how it even still was flight viable. she walked out of the hanger they had secured for her and looked about making her way to the streets her long blue hair blew in the wind as her strange outfit made people avoid her or maybe it was the fact she had two lightsabers hanging from her belt as she didn't realize they may be an issue for anyone. She also was unaware that anyone might be hunting her.

She had to admit his decision to take the uniform of the nurse to be better than her idea. Though people walking around on the grounds outside in uniforms were less than those that were in gowns. This would allow him to wander further away without getting stopped or questioned though.

Sneaking out of the room, they both picked up on the fact they were still being watched. Somehow, whoever had sent the nurse after them had also set an additional pair of eyes on them. Luckily, his companion droid took care of that issue and it crumpled to the floor close to them.

Grabbing his arm to help him into the elevator, they reached the roof level quickly and without getting stopped by others entering the elevator. Then again, maybe the Force was with them and it understood they needed to move quickly.

"I don't feel this is going to work, Lan-Dai. Getting your ship out lock-up is not something a single droid would be able to do."

Pushing open the door that lead to the roof, it was empty in front of them.

"Well, it doesn't look like the person after you thought this far ahead."

Lan-Dai Navras Lan-Dai Navras Riku Anima Riku Anima

While it was highly uncomfortable for him to be helped around by someone, Lan-Dai could not refrain from realizing the crucial aspect of the assistance he was being given. Drawing as best as he could from the living Force, Lan-Dai raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly as Seo's assumption was considered comical at best.

"One thing I never had to teach R8 was not to land my fighter in a hangar in the middle of an engagement... it's too time consuming and it draws unwanted attention.... It's more than safe to say that it's not in lock-up, since it never reached a hangar. R8 most likely landed on an abandoned rooftop or alley, in case things ever went this far south......."

Reaching the rooftop of the medical center, Lan-Dai did in fact take a deep breath of fresh air. Only minutes later did the familiar visage of Lan-Dai's fighter being to approach their location. Landing smoothly, R8 belted out several gleeful beeps as he spun his head around and opened the cockpit.

"If you will excuse me, Seo.... I must now change into something that will allow me to breathe better...."

With those words, Lan-Dai made a true effort to stand on his own while reaching into a compartment within reach and revealed several pieces of apparel. One more derobing down to his boxers, Lan-Dai then started to change into something he could wear freely in the streets without standing out. This included black pants, a faded crimson shirt under a dark red vest, and a jacket and a pair of boots both made of curated jet black batha leather. Reaching into his ship in a hidden compartment, Lan-Dai pulled out a lightsaber identical to the one he used in his duel against Vologang.

"Better to be safe than sorry...." Lan-Dai stated as he tucked it in a concealed sleeve within his jacket.

Suddenly several signals were perceived through the Force, and while the majority were hostile there was at least one that was cryptic and elusive... Where or who did it come from? And why was Lan-Dai sensing it? The answers may very well have to wait as yet another surveillance droid caught their whereabouts but did not stay to gloat or to ascertain their continuous location.

Taking out a commlink from inside the ship, Lan-Dai turned to R8 and gave an order the astromech was all too familiar with.

"Be ready to launch at any given moment, we may have more company coming....."

Riku entered the hospital and immediately realized what was going on between the feels of hostility in the force and her own ability to analyze a situation she reached to her hips and grabbed both sabers and the violet blades sprang to life and she started to walk through the hospital not saying a word she was calm but there was an air of anger with the peaceful calm as she slashed down droids. blaster fire being deflected in kill shots back at the security firing them.

"How annoying." she said in her quiet voice. as two guards rushed her with electro batons she shifted her body down and twisted into the air till she was upside down as the batons of both guards hit creating a brilliant flash of light once it passed her eyes opened and she struck them both as he body went into a flip landing on her feet. she kept walking making her way to the stairs and started the climb she wasn't moving quickly but she was moving and the death left in her wake could be felt all the way to the roof she was not letting anyone who attacked her live she wasn't giving them a chance.

"looks like whoever is up top needs some help." she placed a call during a lul in her combat requesting her ship be released and she issued commands to it as the autopilot engaged and caused the antique to start heading to her location just before the guards noticed her again she killed the transmission she was cutting through most of the guards like butter and looked like she was dancing not fighting.
