Wanderer
She had been snatched off the field of battle and could have sworn she was dead. Yet when she pinched herself, she felt pain. This wasn't a dream yet it wasn't any place she had ever been to. In fact, around her was basically nothing. Sight and sound were distorted. Narrowing her eyes, she thought she saw light.
Winds swirled around her but no dust or debris was stirred. Around her was nothing. Following the light, she did not know where it led but she wanted out and away from this place.
Feeling empty, like she really had lost her life, the wind blew against her face, then came at her from behind. Lost in the grey light, she searched for the light she had just seen. Once again finding it, she approached it slowly. A sudden gust threw her out and onto the street. The Knight stumbled apparently out of thin air and fell to the ground.
Taking a few deep breaths, she gathered her wits about her and started to look around her. Evidently, something great had just happened. There were people staring up at the sky and some few to the land not far from her. Some were still screaming, yelling, and crying.
"Great. I came from war and into another. Where am I? When am I?"
Muttering this to herself, she noticed another form on the ground nearby to her. A few of the bystanders were approaching the prone figure but didn't yet notice her. Gathering the rest of her wits about her, she cleared her head. Sitting up, she checked for her weapon to find it still clutched in her hand. Keeping hold of it, she made her way to the person.
Running...more of a stumble actually, but she made her way as quick as she could to him.
"What happened?"
Suddenly, she felt a blanket getting thrown over her shoulders. Reaching a hand out, she felt for a pulse and let out another sigh. Wrapping the blanket around, she finally realized why it had been placed on her. All of her clothes were gone. Those terrible winds must have stripped her.
The woman that had provided the blanket knelt down and quickly filled Seo in on what had transpired. Pointing to Lan-Dai, she said he had been one of those involved.
"He needs help. Is there a hospital nearby?"
Her hair fell into her eyes and she came to a conclusion she had been gone far longer than she had thought. Falling onto her rear end, a hand was placed on her shoulder and another pointed to a vehicle that was just pulling up.
"Go with him, young lady, and find yourself some clothes. I will come to collect the blanket later."
With that, the woman was gone into the crowd and medical people surrounded them. Both of them were wrapped up into blankets, the man was placed on a stretcher and then taken to the hospital. Through everything, all Seo could think of was what happened. To her and to the man. Time would tell and she would get her answers. Jedi or not, she would be patient.
