Private Silence, Noise, Voices

She had never liked relying on things to take care of business, Seo did understand the need for droids to do some things. Piloting a vessel was one though she did usually like to set courses herself. The Knight did have a droid to this for her if she wanted. Having the feeling they weren't out of trouble just yet, she did give Lan-Dai the few moments he needed to change clothes and kept guard while he did this.

Turning when he spoke indicating he was finished, she saw him placing a lightsaber up his sleeve. Nodding at this, she tilted her head a little when she heard fighting coming in their direction. Unclipping her own lightsaber, she took up a position to watch the door but remain in hiding.

"Somebody is coming but I don't sense an evil intent. As you said, better safe than sorry though."

There was a moment of silence before the fighting started up again.

"What is going on?"

Narrowing her eyes, there was a distant hum of an engine coming but yet too far away for her to pick up.

Sensing the oncoming ship, R8 instinctively beeped defiantly and primed the main cannons on the fighter and fired up the engines in case the fight came to them from either side. Not sure what to make of what was happening or who was coming just yet, Lan-Dai flicked his wrist to bring out his concealed lightsaber in case he would need it. Despite his weak and depowered state, he intended to give a fight for as long as he could with Seo at his side until an opening for an escape presented itself.

While the approaching presence amid the fighting was inconclusive and difficult to read, it somehow seemed unlikely that whoever it was would go through so much noise and effort to reach where they were if the intent was to kill either one of them. The last thing anyone with a homicide in mind would want is to draw attention, so this presence in the Force came with a low probability of murder as a goal.

"I'm not sure who or what is coming, but it's not a chance I'm prepared to take....... Here's hoping it's friend and not foe..." Lan-Dai stated matter-of-factly to both Seo and R8, who still stood at the ready in his place at the fighter.

"Be ready for anything, it could be that whoever's coming and the ship that's approaching may be connected......."

The doors went flying out of their sockets and barely missing two two on the roof and landing just short of hitting the ship though anyone on edge and without thought might think the person just missed. Riku emerged from the dust and smoke and as it cleared you could see behind her laid a trail of death destruction and lightsaber burns. seeing the two she wiped one behind her and a droid was sliced in half then it pulled back into her hand and she spun the blades turning them off and clipping them on her waist.

"Need a lift?" she asked looking to the small craft as the large antique of a ship came lowering down and opening a port under it large enough for the fighter that would barely fit the two of them much less three hung over them. "I mean it looked like you needed help and well we should be good until security can figure out how to get up here." If someone paid attention she had cut all cameras and hit every control panel with her sabers as she had made her way up to the top.

"If you don't need my help I can just leave but something tells me your in no shape to argue." her voice was soft and quite almost meek as she looked between them and she walked towards the edge as the ramp to her ship opened and she started to walk up. she had made it a point not to give her name or any information really aside from she had come to help by some strange happenstance.

It wasn't very often that Seo actually displayed surprise or any real emotion at anything. This time was different though and some shock showed in her eyes as a meek-sounding woman came through the doors she had just blasted off their hinges.

"Before jumping onto a ship with you, what word do you give me that you're not going to kill me in private?"

The question might have sounded stupid but it was to the point, like the Jedi that spoke it. One thing might be noticed about Seo, she had night ignited her lightsaber but held it at her side as she looked at the stranger.

Turning her attention to Lan-Dai, she lifted an eyebrow in curiosity.

"You have a ship of your own but I do not. I will go where you do until you are fully recovered. The choice is yours if we go with her or stay on our own."

Not joining Riku on her ship, she waited for the man she was guarding to answer.

The situation had taken an interesting turn, one that required instant evaluation. On one hand there was someone or a group that wanted the Emerallian dead, and now arrives someone who simply arrived to lend a hand. Once more he looked the newcomer over, and once more he sensed no malice.

"Seo....... It appears that whoever was after me in the room and in the hospital is either dealt with, or has had most of their on hand help neutralized by courtesy of our...... benefactor.... If she wanted to kill me or you she would have already attacked by now, or at the very least given those after us a fair chance to avoid getting her hands dirty..."

Pausing to catch his breath, Lan-Dai motioned for R8 to move the fighter into the ship that arrived in front of them.

"If I am being watched, then the best chance to leave the planet is under whatever cover we can find.... This ship is more than enough to fill such a purpose, and she has offered us help...... I choose to go with her and take my chances, which means that you will as well?"

It was a fair and safe question to ask, since Seo had already offered to stay with him until he was healed. Lan-Dai then turned to follow his own fighter as it made its way into the larger ship at a slower pace than he usually gave, trusting that Seo would follow suit while not exactly holstering her lightsaber since Lan-Dai did not so either.

"Who attacked and why?........... The answers will have to wait for now...."

He looked to the female Jedi that questioned her motives and smiled turning and walking up the ramp. "I can say nothing that will cause you to trust me. Just tell you to have faith in the force." She let that lay in the air. She understood with the fact they where weak and fighting to survive and had been running from something but she knew better than to give away more and to leave herself as an enigma. Hearing the man speak she stopped about halfway up the ramp and watched the ship be taken to the hanger.

"He is not wrong if I wanted you dead I wouldn't of shown myself and I probably wouldn't of disable the security and the guards probably wouldn't of tried to stop me." she then just walked away into the ship and started to make her way to the cockpit so that she could get the three of them off the planet to keep the group from getting caught. She wondered if she should tell them the extra danger she was putting them in by fact of just being around her.

Once the two entered the ship the ships AI would speak over the intercom. "Lady Anima It seems we have new guests should I prepare authorization protical J3D1-51TH"

The question had been directed at the stranger and it was answered properly...at least to Seo. It was a motto the Knight lived by, trust in the Force. With those four words, she returned her lightsaber to its clip on her belt and moved to assist Lan-Dai into the ship if he needed it.

Hearing what else he had to offer about her hesitating, she hoped he was able to realize she was far more at ease than just a few moments ago. What she said was true. She would stick by his side as much as she could until this entire situation was cleared up.

There were still many questions in her mind, but they would be answered in time. Almost as soon as they stepped onto the larger ship, there was a robotic voice that greeted them. However, it did not seem to welcome her and Lan-Dai. Now, what actions Seo did depended on how this Lady Anima answered the query.

As they entered the ship of their new situational ally, a voice addressed her asking if a protocol unknown to either one of them should be initiated.... Lan-Dai was nowhere near prepared for what lay ahead, and what exactly this protocol entailed.

Lan-Dai, Seo, R8, and his fighter were now on board and the blast doors closed behind them. All that remained was for the takeoff to commence, and where it was that thay would go. Should any drastic measures be necessary, Lan-Dai already knew who he could call upon for both asylum as well as any other assistance that may be needed.

Looking to straighten himself and his posture, Lan-Dai stood up at full height and took some steps forward when suddenly a disturbing tremor was perceived through the Force. A painful tremor that was sensed more by his emotion and state of mind than his body and muscles which in and of themselves were still in the process of healing. The Force was letting him know of a great and perhaps personal loss, one that was sudden and perhaps deliberate. Who it was or where it came from, he could not say.

His breathing became agitated, he clutched his chest as tears began to well up in his eyes yet refused to escape. He slowly dropped to his knees as he sought to regulate his breath. A heaviness took hold of his chest, though it was more emotional than anything else. From where he knelt, he made a small yet sharp gesture for Seo to keep her distance as he also sensed that she made her way towards him to assist.

Something was terribly wrong, and there and then Lan-Dai resolved to meditate both for comfort as well as to seek out the answers necessary as to why this sensation came over him.

Riku Sat there for several moments trying to decide if the protocol was worth running but she didn't care and was going to tell it to disregard but then the distress from the force caused her to nearly shut down and she screamed. 'GWAAAAWAAAAA" She had never felt something like that before in her life and with how deeply connected she was it was an overload. She then passed out and laid unconscious in the captains chair.

The AI on the computer spoke up again this time speaking to anyone who still had their faculties about them. "Please assist new crew member ID 02 and 03, Also Ms. Anima needs direct assistance I am picking up great distress in their vitals." The ship was heading off planet already and out into space hopping through a hyper lane then dropping out of it in an empty void within space.

Whether it was good or bad, but Seo Linn had built up around her mind strong defenses, and the tremor that so severely affected her two companions did not do the same to her. While it did register with her, it did not debilitate her at all.

Starting to approach Lan-Dai when she saw him faltering in his steps, she certainly noticed his wave to stay away. Not bothering to acknowledge she saw this, she could tell this tremor had more seriously affected Lady Anima. Without having any other name to call her by, she almost rushed to the side of the other woman. Unless something attempted to stop her.

Then again, the artificial voice indicated Lady Anima needed aid so she could assume nothing would try and prevent her from rendering it. Provided, Riku was stable enough to be moved, she would lay her down on the floor of the cockpit and start to stabilize what vitals she could. To her trained eye, there was nothing physically wrong with the woman, she wasn't injured in any manner. This...what looked a lot like a seizure would have to pass before Seo could actually finish healing her.

Reaching out with the Force, she held Riku still until this ended and she kept the woman's heart at a normal rate.

Once more the passage of time became elusive as Lan-Dai's surroundings appeared to warp around him, as did his perception of the speed of who and what was in his immediate vicinity. At this point it was obvious that the Force itself was calling to him, either to let him know of a personal tragedy that has happened or to warn him of one in the future.

The questions lingered: Who did this omen point to? Has it happened already? Is it meant to happen? How soon from now? However, while as pertinent as the questions may be, this was not the time to deal with them. Until further notice none of them were truly out of danger just yet, and that was still their main priority at the moment.

Forcing himself to once more regulate his breathing and rising from his position, Lan-Dai closed his eyes and quickly passed his hand over them, took a deep breath and did his best to return to his outwardly stoic demeanor.

Trusting that Seo could tend to Riku in greater capacity than he could, Lan-Dai instead focused on what their immediate destination should be. Attempting to walk unaided, the struggle was apparent despite his best efforts to pretend he was not in a delicate state of health.

"I have a possibility for a certified destination...." Lan-Dai spoke directly to the onboard AI as he pulled from his pouch an intricate looking commlink. "Use this to send a transmission, the destination is automatic and no coordinates are necessary.... I can only hope it will work....."

Lan-Dai's thoughts wandered to one person, one who by personal admission owed a debt...

As Seo moved her and touched her flashes from the force slammed her mental defenses Images of a long forgotten Sith lord, Lord Revan hit her bombarding her it was a relentless assault. She would see the events of Malacor V. Then the vision would jump to Kyle Raynor training Jedi working with Luke. These visions seemed to be memories but none anyone should have. As the visions continued she would see the life of a Mandalorian woman Ursa Wren. They all had one thing in common a dark shadow figure in the background obscured but holding a tale something that needed to be known. For each of the three she saw she only caught glimpses faces unless it was a moment of great joy or tremendous sorrow events that lefts wounds within the force. The Longer Seo touched Riku the faster and more forceful the memories and visions became. As soon as she touched her with the force to try steady her she felt both the dark and the light collide into her at once as if fighting for dominance neither giving ground a perfect balance with a proper ebb and flow. Though this happened Seo's attempt's seemed to work and Riku's body and mind started to relax as if it was purging itself into her or attempting to.

The AI remained quite not responding for what seemed like an eternity as they floated in the darkness of space an area between galaxies the void as it where. Soon it answered. "As the Captain has been incapacitated Temporary command has been given to guest 2." soon flashes of light where going off around him. "Assignment given quadrantes set setting predetermined coarse. Due to the sensitive nature of the captain we will be unable to use the hyper drive until she regains consciousness." The ship moved out at max sub light running the edge of the hyperspace lane keeping a questionable minimum safe distance.

While it had only been a short amount of time that Seo knew the man, she trusted him. Oddly enough, she trusted the woman too. She had come to their rescue for some reason and Seo wanted to know why. Listening to the call of the Force she could understand. That was something she did.

It was a good thing for the Knight to have the mental barriers in place. Images flashed through her mind as she tended to the body of Riku. And right now, that is all Riku was, a body. Until this Force-induced blackout ended, at least. All Seo could do was keep her stabilized.

The Jedi was not going to reprimand Riku for being an entity of light and dark. She might be Jedi but that did not make her any less emotional than another person. Paying attention to what else was happening around her, she was pleased to notice Lan-Dai was coherent enough to request a route for them. Unfortunately, they would take a long time to get there unless her patient woke up.

Sitting down on the floor of the cockpit, Seo just lightly kept the other woman stable until she could be woken up.

Thinking back quite a while, the Emerallian had only one person in mind, one possibility for both sanctuary and recovery. Through strange circumstances their paths had been briefly intertwined, yet in that crossroad an unlikely life-saving assistance was extended and the offer to reciprocate had been exchanged.

Connecting the commlink to the ship's main console, it was only a matter of time before the transmission was automatically sent. This commlink was encrypted to specifically reach a specific person, and it could likewise be used to reach him specifically without the need for an extensive search.

Lan-Dai Navras began to stumble and lose his stance, but caught himself quickly by grabbing onto the pilot's seat as he caught his breath. Surely enough the transmission was sent, and a link was established. Soon enough, Lan-Dai was now directly communicating with his brief situational ally.

"Queen Stardust....." Lan-Dai began, trying against all odds to not allow his impaired condition to surface. "I am sorry to contact you under..... such... circumstances...." Having to pause and breathe mid-sentence was not a comfortable sensation for him. "I contact you now......... because I am in need of asylum after 2.......... attempts.......... made on my life...... The former leaving me heavily injured....." His breathing suddenly became heavy and the arm he was using to hold himself up began to tremble.

"If it is in your power to grant........ me and my companions shelter until........... things can be sorted out, I would gratefully............ answer........... any questions you may have regarding............ this matter......"

Lan-Dai closed his eyes, took a deep breath in an attempt to recollect himself.

"I await your reply......... and if applicable...... the coordinates to.... where we can......... meet.... you......"

His demeanor was the same as usual, but his eyes could not refrain from giving him away.

Riku Laid there while all this went on then just as Lan-Dai said "you" Riku let out a scream and the ship physically shifted course anyone who knew enough about a nav console could tell the ship was trying to put them back on the course that had been laid out to it. "NOOOOOOOOOO" one eye was almost solid white while the other was glazed over and looked blind her blue hair hanging in the air with a wind that should not be. As her scream came to an end the ship stopped its struggle and they where back on their original heading. Riku panted and her hair dropped in an instant and she stared at the consol.

"Lady Anima welcome back Please refrain from fighting me or your engines may burn out." The ships AI reprimanded her and she looked about her eyes having returned to their normal silver sheen and she stood up as if nothing had happened though her body was sweating and her heart racing still. Based on the severity of the seizer that was caused Riku should of been in a level of pain that would of kept her on the floor and her muscles being so tight she wouldn't want to move but she took her seat and looked to the strange com device on the console. She glanced over at the two. "Yes activate the J 3 D 1 - 5 1 T H protocol and allow registration of crew." She closed her eyes obviously tired but completely unaware of the pain she was in.

"As you wish Lady Anima also I would like to add you should be in a great deal of pain please try to relax." It stated that last part in an admonishing tone. It them spoke up. "Please register your names and rank within your perspective orders and any skills that will assist the ship and crew."
