At the words of an unknown voice, Adenn's head turned to face the voice which spoke, frowning as he did so. That frown was replaced by confusion, even as his HUD confirmed to him what he already knew. There was a Sith pureblood, somehow still alive after his species was driven extinct. However, his shock didn't stop his mouth from snarking right back.
"Antagonizing, how boringly Sith of you." His gaze followed the man, his HUD feeding him information on the individual before him, and how best to take him down, even as he continued to speak. "Best watch your tone though, dar'jetii, lest you join the rest of your kind in the grave."

He spoke confidently in that regard, all but certain he could follow through with it. His gaze turned away from the pureblood then, treating him as what he was viewed as by the Mando'ade present. Unimportant. Instead, he focused on the war machines of Clan Mortui as they set to work. At the same time, Ingrid gave orders to her soldiers to help take the fortress. As the forces of the Eternal Empire moved in as well, Adenn nodded his head to her. He was glad they wouldn't be left out to dry, it showed him that she was still committed to following her word. It would also all but ensure no true Mandalorians would die, instead leaving only the AT-ADs to take fire and be destroyed. Those losses were acceptable, the losses of Mando'ade was not. Not unless it was for a worthy cause, a Mandalorian one.

So, as artillery opened fire behind them, Adenn nodded once more. Behind him, heavy fire rained down upon the shields. Above him, allied fighters moved and struck as they pleased. And before him, there marched the forces that would lead the vanguard into the city. All in all, a very pleasing sight to the Alor. Glancing up towards the fighters, Adenn decided to add his own commentary to his allies.
"Once we have targets for you, we'll designate them to be destroyed. Until then, good hunting."

Once more then his gaze shifted back to his vode, who were still firing, but otherwise idle, even as the AT-AD droids neared the half way marker to the fortress and city lines. Opening a comms to them, he spoke.
"For Manda'yaim, for Tracyn. For our aliit."

His warriors echoed the sentiment, statements of 'For our aliit' echoed back to Adenn. Were anyone outside their group to listen in, they may be disturbed by the absolute calm these warriors presented when it came to this siege. But to them, to Adenn as well, it was not yet time for passion and bloodlust to take over. If it were to even be stoked but such a small skirmish, when they had faced worse. Yet none could, for this was a private channel for the Mandalorians.

So, to the outside eye, they simply continued to fire upon the shield, with various focus points becoming readily apparent. Where more artillery shells hit, there too did the AT-ADs and Beskad Warriors and Elite of Clan Mortui fire. Their aim, to strain out the sections of the shield and cause a greater collapse all around the fortress. Slugs, blaster bolts, missiles, and more were fired with utter calm and precision. Seeming volleys providing a near constant barrage of fire alongside the artillery pieces. In this manner did Clan Mortui wage war, calm, efficient, and ruthless in regards to life not belonging to their own. All for their aliit, their family.

Ingrid watched the events that took place in the city and beyond. She watched as Eleena and her team worked. It was clear that the enemy did not expect such an attack and could not really defend themselves. The red-haired woman knew they wanted to evacuate the military personnel, but at least the officers from here. But that is when the Eternal Empire arrived. The enemy had no time left. But, if all goes well, that's why there wasn't such a large force inside. Most of them had already been taken away and evacuated. The slaves would have remained.

<< Mermaid Two, nice work! >> she told her.

If they had been left alive at all, because the Empress did not know if it would have happened or not. It was something they will never know.

Meanwhile, one of the mercenaries even expressed his opinion. She sighed silently, mostly in thought. Not that because of the helmet, anyone could see or hear it all now. Ingrid also looked at the city. As the Clan Mortui began to attack the shields, the ships of the Eternal Empire also brought supplies. Similar reinforcement, like that the Mandalorians brought. Siege machines; walkers and tanks. Although the woman did not know, she thought in the same way as the man. To lose Machines and vehicles here rather than soldiers.

Machines are much easier to make up for than people are at a loss. Last but not least, human loss can even be morally destructive. And this enemy did not deserve to shed imperial or Mandalorian blood today. As the Eternal Imperial siege machines, walkers and tanks arrived, they joined to support the Clan Mortui's army.

Meanwhile, Ingrid, the ships above, also sent the data to her, including that the area had been scanned and that the data was analysed. The biochip received these and immediately projected the data into the woman’s retina and the data into her mind. She smiled for a moment under the beneficial cover of her helmet.

"Alor, if you still wanted to bombarding… there is a cave system in the eastern part of the city that leads under the city. If we collapse the surface, do you think you would have some adventurous people to help Ultranauts get into the city from below? And so, avoid the shields?" she asked him.

From the heights, she looked at the area that was affected. It was quite flat and, if necessary, the teams could easily get out of there to carry out the operation if it turned out to be so.

<< Mermaid Two, what do you think? You can see the situation better from the air, from above. How much trouble could we cause, if our units got into the city from below, bypassing the shields? >> she asked her.

Jas halted for a moment as he marched, turning in his step to look at the Mandalorian Alor as the giant of a man spoke up. A man with such a booming voice and commanding presence demanded respect from his peers and even his superiors. One thing that Purebloods like him understood, it was power. In the stance, the walk, the talk, and it was one faint form of kinship that the Pureblood always saw within himself and the warrior creed.

But in this instance, backing off was a bad call.

"Antagonizing, how boringly Sith of you."

"Best watch your tone though, dar'jetii, lest you join the rest of your kind in the grave."

"You know, I would have made a joke about your mother, but the hammer fell rather hard on that one, didn't it?" Jas fired back without hesitation as a smug grin adorned his crimson features. "Maybe study up what my kind did to yours before you sling insults at me, Grotthu."

With that, he spun around and marched off to meet up with his contact in the Eternal Empire, uncaring for whatever comments the Alor had to say behind his back.

But karma seemed to be in full bloom on this particular day, as the Pureblood's companion greeted him with a firm handshake and a bright greeting. She explained the layout for their mission as they approached the nearby speeder bikes, even going so far as to make a quip that earned a scoff from Jas. "Age before beauty." He replied.

He was never good at quips and jokes. Hopefully he didn't look like an idiot in front of his men around the Mandalorian Alor.

"There's a route into the city through the east, in the mountains. If we can sneak through there, getting to the marketplace will be a lot less problematic. The weapon stores are in place as well, all we need to do is get the civilians out of captivity." He explained to her as he slid his helmet on and powered up his speeder, not realizing the potential trouble waiting for them in the eastern pathway.

Jas took off with his speeder, occasionally glancing over his shoulder to make sure Chameleon stuck with him. :: This kind of mission standard for you? Or is it something new? :: He asked her through their comms channel, though it was likely more of a reflection of his own experience. When it came down to the types of missions he was used to doing, he had a lot more in common with the Mando than he preferred to admit.

It didn't take long for them to reach the obscure entrance to the pathway into the city as the siege kicked off, artillery showering hellfire down on the city's shields. The Hellions joined in on the assault to support the flanks and voids in the Eternal Empire's forces. But it soon became apparent that they weren't nearly as stretched as other clients in the past.

<"Let's start the operation!">

With the order received threw the heavy bulkhead of the dropship he was in. Various troops started getting paired up with their fireteams for when they touch down. Slipping on his Yan cleared his mind

this was nothing more than another trial.

He told himself as his Neon blue orbs he called eyes glanced down at the beam rifle across his lap. Grasping it firmly he affixed the vibro bayennet to the front of the weapon listening for the audible click. as the door to their dropship swung open and the ramp lowered Yan alongside other Eternal Empire Armed forces began filing out under heavy fire. Yan had to admit despite the heavy volumes of fire from Droids and dug in walkers the Eternal Empire's troops seem completely unbothered a sign of well trained and hardened troops.

Hunkering down behind some decent size rocks Only to pop out of cover every now and then to fire a beam or two at a enemy droid coreing it before it falls. The combined arms of the fight really helping the forces gain ground. Yan would fallow whatever orders his supiriors gave him, he had alot to prove if he wanted to wipe off the stigma of being ex hades corp and join the Eternal Empire armed forces. he would however save the heroics for the better skilled and the dead.

Reciving a rough hand to his shoulder Yan turned his head to his Squad lead. "Ashford were moving up with the armor let go!" giving a curt nod Yan would fallow his squad amoung the cover as the moved up with the armor. still under heavy fire from the city's defenses. it didnt take long till a blaster bolt met its mark. Slamming into the chest of his squad leader Yan took a crouched stance and fired back twords the defenders before pulling the trooper into cover. taking out the soldiers IFAK to provide his squad leader with at the vary least stabilizing aid.

Using his telepethy Yan called out for a medic before rejoining the push.

"Cheeky, I think, I like you!" she chuckled.

It was always a pleasure for Kessia not to work with the completely rigid soldiers, but in a somewhat looser company. Although Ivixa Nera'kas Ivixa Nera'kas was one of the best partners in the Eternal Empire so far. She nodded at the younger man's words, then when they started, she caught up with her own speeder. For the time being, she didn’t even know they were heading in exactly the direction they might soon destroy by bombarding. In order for the caverns below to collapse or just be accessible and get into the city through them.

<< All right; hopefully by then the troops will make enough upheaval to make our "journey" easier for us. >> she told him.

Meanwhile, Kessia was driving past the Sith with her vehicle, close enough, but so far away that if the man changed direction, she could react to it. At first, she just chuckled at the question. The young man figured this out, however she thought he might not have known this. The woman once had a hostage mission, but there everyone had to be killed from those who had taken the hostages. Everything else was really secondary.

<< We can say that it is new. 99% of my work is about neutralising different targets. >> she explained the assassin's work very discreetly. << And what about you? >> she asked him.

The fight began and she continued down the path. Here a little more carefully because she didn’t want to be a victim of an assassin, yet. However, everyone seemed to be busy attacking the shields; fortunately. At the end of the passage, she saw a cave entrance, there was a short route under the rocks; there was no working shield in this part and it was possible to get in.

<< Hopefully they will focus on the front attack and not this place. I'm going ahead! >>

With this, she activated the shield around the speeder, accelerating and thus approaching the cave entrance to get into the city.

What could be the worst-case scenario? Yet the passage has a shield and she'll crash with it and die. Or they'll shoot her…

But without risk, this work was no fun.

<”Dragonsnake, then cut off the entrance and Nexu Grin from behind. We’ll pin them between us both.”> Ivixa answered, acknowledging her partner’s tendency towards framing tactics in terms of Teräs Käsi. From there, Ivixa climbed until she was on a gangway leading to a massive walker, giving the sniper a good vantage point as her probe droid continued to scope out the area while updating her HUD with enemy locations. Then, once Myri was in position, Ivixa set her crosshairs on the skull of the soldier closest to her position, before transmitting back to the Thyrsian.

<”Initiate.”>

The Asa’nyx squeezed the trigger, blowing open the mercenary’s brains in an explosion of blood and viscera! Then, she snapped her sights on the soldier immediately adjacent to him and fired a round into his chest, sending the man sprawling back, into a nearby rack of ammunition. From there, Ivixa leapt down from the gangway, using her repulsor pack to slow her descent before touching down with a graceful roll and bringing her rifle back up to eye level…

Just in time.

A third soldier came running out from behind the ammunition rack, a muscular Abyssin clad in heavy armor and hefting a massive vibroblade. The Asa’nyx shot him once, twice, then thrice before he finally went down, before finishing the mercenary with a fourth shot to the head, having knowledge of the regenerative abilities of the Abyssin species.

<”Status report, Myri?”> The sniper said, as she moved to engage another soldier, sensing that it might not be long before the alarms began to sound. They would have to be inside before then.

The twin beam cannons gave a high-pitched whine as they were let loose on a third guiding line, ruining it in an explosion of slag and molten chunks as Eleena passed overhead, accelerating back up to speed while climbing to a higher altitude. With air superiority secure, altitude was naturally a source of safety, though only up to the limits of the shield “dome” which covered the entire city, preventing fighters from getting inside.

<< Mermaid Two, nice work! >>

Eleena felt an involuntary grin manifest on her features as she kicked her machine into a higher gear, before coming back around to probe the city for more targets to hit. Eyes scanning the terrain, Eleena picked out a pair of speeder bikes on patrol. Immediately, the Twi’lek pulled her jet swoop in a drop kick turn, before initiating a descent to bring them into her sights. As soon as her targets were within range, Eleena squeezed the vanes, unleashing twin particle beams that struck the bikes in a pair of sudden explosions, vaporizing their riders in the process!

<< Mermaid Two, what do you think? You can see the situation better from the air, from above. How much trouble could we cause, if our units got into the city from below, bypassing the shields? >>

<”It…might work.”> Eleena began. <”They have quite a few vehicle and infantry assets deployed outside the fortress, my Lord. Hitting them from below could allow the Ultranauts to bypass some of their defenses and they might be able to initiate flanking maneuvers”> She finished.

"Study the history yourself, chakaar, and see that your kind is gone, while mine yet remains."

His own remark came back just as quickly, for he had studied the history. Every member of Clan Mortui knew the history of their clan well, from their early days on Coruscant, all the way to the most recent days under various groups. They knew their history, what had been done to them, and what they had done to others. No crime against them was forgotten and they got their due given time, against all. That history let him know just what had been done to the Sith species in days long gone, and the thought gave him dark joy.

So, with satisfaction taking over, he focused instead on the present battle. Some may think it would be a glorious clash between two opposing forces, battling to the death for victory. Instead, it would be clinical precision used to take down the fortress. To that effect, Adenn watched the scrolling feed of calculations in his HUD as his forces, and their allies, fired upon the shield. Considering both forces were primarily mechanical in the forefront, it was rather easy to calculate. All they needed was the data from their troops and his HUD did the rest.

The information he received was all but expected. All signs pointed towards a standard siege of this fortress, with acceptable casualties coming from their mechanical forces. They would break down the shield given enough time, even as their forces would enter the shield and help secure the outer lines. However, this would still leave them exposed within enemy lines and without artillery support. A death sentence for most, a nuisance for them. So, as they continued on, Adenn began to plan on ways to reinforce his mechanical forces once they entered the shield, so that they could do their jobs properly.

This was a siege, so time taken and losses incurred were expected. However, decreasing either would still work in favor of his plans. Incidentally, the Empress provided a perfect chance for that. He pondered the question for only a few moments before nodding his head, and the half endorsement from Mermaid Two simply reinforced that. Rather than respond to Ingrid, he instead used his personal comms to call over a specific group. Shortly thereafter five Beskad Elite stood before him. Turning to the Empress, he spoke with a half grin hidden by his helmet.

"Meet my Beskad Elite, this is Fire Team Atiniir*. As the name implies, nothing will faze them."

Fire Team Atiniir, an elite fire team within the Beskad Elite, already the elite within an elite order. Within Clan Mortui, there are those known as the Beskad Warriors. They bear heavy, specialized armor perfected for siege warfare. Uncaring of their own lives, they have devoted themselves to annihilating their enemy through grinding attrition. They have fought in countless battles and are easily considered to be the elite within Clan Mortui. Those outside the clan can little contest this, but those within know there are those above even them. The Beskad Elite stand at the pinnacle of Clan Mortui, leaders of the Beskad Warriors and peerless warriors beholden only to Adenn.

Numbering only twenty, they were once an elite unit within Clan Mortui. Now, they are the elite unit. Within Clan Mortui, they are second to none on the field of battle, and they know it. Each of these twenty bears a set of Jaig Eyes atop their helms and they walk with the confidence and arrogance of those who have never been bested. Their organization further accentuates this. Numbering only twenty, warriors who have fought together for decades, they are one squad. But even they know they must spread themselves across the battlefield, leading to their fire teams. Specialized five man units, they can and will destroy anything set before them.

One such elite unit is Atiniir, they who have endured all thrown at them and never broken. Whether on the offensive or defensive, nothing has broken or stopped them. As these five elite arrive, they nod to Adenn in respect, before they turn their helmeted gazes to Ingrid. It is then that the leader speaks up, gravely voice confident and arrogant, worn with age and yet no less strong or confident.
"Our Alor believes your plan worthwhile and has tasked us with ensuring its success. We shall secure the caves and a path through, along with an exit. Once we are beyond that point, we will annihilate any who stand against us and destroy the shields. Were I you, I would ensure forces are close behind us, for we won't wait, nor slow for any in our path."

Without waiting for a reply, the leader turns and marches away towards the indicated cave system. Behind him comes his squad, each moving with ease in their heavy armor. They march with confidence towards what most would consider a near death sentence, not even concerned for the outcome of the coming battle. Their departure also makes it clear that they won't wait on anyone else, clearly planning to continue through the caves with or without aid. Yet they are no less confident of the outcome for that.

Adenn doesn't see this though, for he doesn't watch their departure. He is as confident in their success as they are, for he knows what they can and will do. The Alor also doesn't apologize for the words of the Beskad Elite. After all, the warrior hadn't been insulting nor given orders to the Empress, merely stated what would happen and given his input regarding what the Imperial forces should do. Further, the Empress no doubt had experience with those confident of their own abilities, so it would be interesting to see just how she would react.

After a few moments however, by which point Fire Team Atiniir is within the caves and out of sight, Adenn does speak up. In doing so, he also speaks with the same confidence his Beskad Elite had, speaking factually about the events to follow.
"Once those shields fall, the gates will be easy to break open. I will have some forces prepare to charge in and secure a beachhead once that happens."

A new day had arrived for Cartri on the surface of Isis, somewhere which was a far cry from Denon. Since his last meeting with Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim he had been asked to meet with a person the Red Witch knew well. He wasn't sure entirely what for, but it was probably a person he could speak to as a way of helping him control his "gift". It was no lie in saying it was still a problem, so he'd be more than happy to take all the advice he could get from a skilled force user.

For the few times he had met Ingrid, Cartri had grown trust in the empress. She had always been honest and clear with him, especially when it came to getting out of her place alive. After all, there was no reason for him not to considering she had yet to speak a single lie. And so, with nothing but himself, he went to the capital of Isis and made a short trek to the outside of the city where his contact was waiting for him near a crystal formation.

He wasn't sure what to expect from the woman named Eina, was she going to have the same stern yet honest attitude as Ingrid? or was she going to be the polar opposite? at the end of the day that didn't matter. All he was here for was to gain better knowledge and a potential teacher on how to control his power. Nothing more, nothing less. As he approached the location he soon began to see a figure in the distance, an unusual stature who appeared to have wings.

Cartri stopped for a few moments to peer at the woman from a distance, hesitant at first to approach. With a clear gulp, he slowly but surely came up behind the woman and stopped a few feet away from her. The boy didn't speak at first, only looking down at her strange form with one of intrigue. But that didn't last long when he bravely opened his mouth to speak.

"Uh... hello. I'm Cartri, Ingrid sent me here to meet with you?"

She watched the fights and waited for an answer. In fact, Eleena’s response was vital enough for them to go on in the mission. If the answer is no, it doesn’t really matter what Adenn says because it won’t matter. However, the woman soon sent her reply. This was something that unfortunately could not be judged remotely, but had to work from situational reports. And the report was positive.

<< Copy that, Mermaid Two; valuable information! >>

She then looked at Alor, who seemed to agree with her, though he said nothing about the question. The red-haired woman felt the tiny smile, and soon five very armed Mandalorians appeared there. The woman looked at them questioningly, though the questioning gaze and raised eyebrows were not visible because of her helmet. The Beskad Elite. Although she hadn’t really seen them in action yet, she had data on this group.

"I have already read files about the Beskad Elite. It will be a pleasure to finally see them in action." she told him.

She nodded to the elite leader, then watched them leave. Through the biochip, she mentally instructed one of the teams to follow the Elite squad and after that they would break into the city as well. The Hellhounds unit, which numbered roughly a dozen souls, set off immediately after them. Ingrid also sent the best who were here. Once they are inside and the shields fall down, everyone can attack the gates and walls as well. From then on, it will be easy. She saw that her team, who was moving professionally, was following the Mandalorians.

"I have no doubt about that. Apparently, they built the city and the base without expecting a siege. Or if so, at most just against pirates." she told him.

And that was a fatal mistake. And the Hellhounds were "panted like dogs" there in the wake of the Beskad Elite, as if they were really hounds who was released from hell. Although they had lighter armour than the Mandalorians, their movements were deadly too, but they were also sophisticated and military. An excellent, elite striking team. There was no protection at the caves, and under the city the cave passage turned into a metal corridor and ended with a closed door. This was the last thing what separated the team from getting into the city.

<< Mermaid Two, be ready! >>

Myri gave a smirk as she prepared to put the plan into action. She was waiting for the time when she could just charge forward and break something. But she didn’t train to be an agent to become a juggernaut. Sneaking was going to be part of her job, for the glory of the Empire. As the word was given, Myri started off as quickly as she could without calling attention to herself.

The young Thyrsian hugged as close to the wall as she could while not being too close so that she would have to lower her forward moment. Out of the corner of her eye Myri saw one of the enemies go down. A smirk formed on her face as she approached the mercenary the closest to her. There was an urge to rush out of the shadows and take the man down. But that was not the plan.

Myri wondered if Ivixi would be a good teacher with throwing knives. One would come in handy right now if Myri was proficient enough to put her target down in one attempt. Since she hadn’t tested her prowess and didn’t have such a weapon, Myri kept to the shadows, slowing her momentum to make sure she was not detected.

Reaching the entrance unfettered, Myri smiled. These mercenaries might have been the best that the locals could afford, but they were certainly not up to Blackwatch level. She looked over the security panel attached to the door and took in a breath of relief that it was quite simple. She shut the door and then pried the panel open. There was no need to be precise on the next step. Just make it so those on the outside would take quite some time to manually unlock and open the door. She found the connection from the panel to its power source and pulled it. There was some minor sparking, but nothing that would be noticed by the enemy inside.

That task completed, Myri rushed back up the middle. ‘Time for Nexu Grin,’ she thought to herself and rushed forward. Since reinforcements were now cut off she was less concerned with stealth and more concerned with causing a whole heap of damage. Her first victim came into sight and Myri smiled. It was an able looking Quarren, Myri knew this was going to be more of an effort than the prior humans. Lunging forward she threw her shoulder into the Quarren, then gave a kick that collapsed the squidman’s knee. “Frack! Ew!” Myri exclaimed as the face tentacles of her opponent reached out and grabbed her hair. She blocked an attempted stab into her ribs and forced the knife to the side. She struck with both hands, to the breathing holes on either side of the Quarren’s face. Inside she grabbed hold and twisted, snapping the man’s neck. She was quite grateful that the tentacles released her hair as the body fell to the ground.

Myri made quick work of the next two guards. It was so quick she didn’t even take time to notice what their species was. It was a wide variety in this crew. Almost impressive if they didn’t fall so quickly. Her ear chirped with a sit-rep request. <”Door’s shut for now. Not permanent though. I got three down. And slime in my hair. Ready to move on your word.”>

Yan would keep pushing up with the other ultranaughts dealing with resistence of both droids and armor. Looking back to see a medic get to his squad leader he silently celebrated that the soldier would live to fight another day turninging his attention back to the fight however he sees a flash of red before being launched off his feet and hitting the ground.

the group he was with just got opened up on by hostile armor that had managed to flank their position. Looking around him and his squad are sitting ducks as the enemy units turn their position into a shooting gallery. Attempting to stand he winces before looking down realising his armoe covering his legs was slagged and fused to the flesh. opening his mouth his scream of anguish remained silent due to being a void born.

Feeling a pair of hands wrap under his arms and drag him back behind the rock with the squad leader. he notices the as they call over the radio "requesting support were being flanked by enemy armor!"

<”Be advised Red Witch, Red Hand, and Fire Team Atiniir, there may be other entrances into the tunnel.”> She warned. <”When you initiate your assault through the caves, the enemy may be in position to reinforce those positions. I’ll transmit if I see movement from up here. Good luck. Mermaid Two, out!”> The Twi’lek warned.

Just as she finished speaking, Eleena got the call she was waiting for. Enemy armor on the move! Kicking the ion afterburners to life, the jet swoop ace briefly accelerated past Mach 1 before closing in on Yan Ashford’s position, slowing down to attack velocity as she did. Picking up the location of the enemy armor on her sensor readout, Eleena lined her nose up with their positions and shunted additional power to her cannons.

"Requesting support, we're being flanked by enemy armor!"

<”Copy that! I’m ten seconds out!”> Eleena called back. Fortunately, Eleena had been generous with her estimate. Five seconds after the call, the primal, ancient roar of a turbo ion jet drive carried through the air, followed by a sudden thwop as the jet swoop’s twin beam cannons opened fire on the legs of an AT-ST which had maneuvered on the flanks of Yan Ashford’s squad, projecting dual lances of solarized particle beams that slashes through the walker’s legs, toppling the war machine down like a statue. Not a second later, another AT-ST was cut down via a similarly precise application of firepower, crashing down in a plume of dust as the jet swoop zoomed by overhead!

Ivixa didn’t want to waste any time.

She came up on the second to last guard, a Trandoshan who she managed to stun with a shot to his chest from her static blaster. The Asa’nyx moved to finish him off, but it was only then that her ears twitched, picking up the slithering movement of the last guard, too late for her to counter. Suddenly, a massive Anacondan, clad in some form of flexible armorweave, wrapped itself around Ivixa’s torso, almost causing the diminutive sniper to freeze up in primal terror.

And for a split-second, she did.

For a moment, she panicked, prey instincts taking over as she sought to frantically stab the snake, which began to coil and squeeze around her in the manner of a constrictor. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for her training to kick in, seizing upon a moment a clarity even as a few of her ribs began to crack under the pressure. With a mental command, Ivixa activated her field disruptor and set it to maximum power, unleashing an energized disruption field across the surface of her armor that caused the Anacondan to hiss in pain as its scales began to burn, compelling it to recoil away from the source. Nevertheless, Ivixa didn’t let it escape, immediately firing her static blaster at the creature, once, twice, then three times more, its serpentine form twitching violently as electricity fried its insides. Then, Ivixa snapped her static blaster on Trandoshan's chest, willing the weapon to discharge a trio of coruscating electrical bolts at the reptilian alien only just as he recovered from the initial blast of electricity.

It had all taken place within a span of less than four seconds.

Ivixa threw her helmet off and hacked up blood onto the ground. The medisensor in her biochip immediately informed her of the cracked ribs and the punctured lung, confirmed by the sudden stab of pain in her chest. Fortunately, the systems in her armor worked quickly, pumping bacta into her bloodstream, along with a small dose of kouhunin for the pain.

<”That’s the last of them.”> The sniper coughed into the commlink, her voice evidently strained. <”Let’s move inside.”> She continued, before putting her helmet back on.

<”I want you to paralyze the security center, Operative.”> Ivixa ordered, as she moved to the outer edge of the fortress. <”I’m moving up to the top floor.”>

And with that, Ivixa began to climb.

A smirk formed beneath his helm at her answer, though it did confirm his suspicions that she was the stealthy one between the two. But he refrained from answering as the question was turned on him, brushing it off as professional silence for the mission ahead. The reality was simply that their method of extraction and securing areas involved a few dozen tanks and a rain of missiles overhead. He had other troops in the Hellions that specialized in special operations... unfortunately they weren't available for this mission.

The woman kicked it up a gear and accelerated towards the cave entrance as the main attack started up for the siege. The Eternals were busy with their own plans, all he hoped was that it wouldn't cause issues with their own objectives.

The two finally arrived and Jas immediately dismounted with his rifle at the ready. :: Let's move. :: He muttered in their comms as he took point. The cacophony died down into rumbles and echoes from outside and within the city as they moved through the tunnel. From deeper within, the sounds of soldiers and machinery played into his helmet as he came to a halt for a moment. :: Wouldn't mind a tank or two right now... :: He admitted with a smirk.

A smirk that lasted a glorious five seconds before he rounded a corner and crashed into a group of enemy troops. Before he or the other guy could say something, blaster bolts filled the tunnel as shots rang out.

Nodding in appreciation as a squad of EE soldiers followed his warriors, Adenn watched the enemy lines for a moment longer. Then he turned his gaze to Ingrid, allowing his questioning tone to shine through.
"I'm curious to know what you've heard. Most simply see them as part of the Beskad Warriors, not knowing they are their own group."

Watching the Hellhounds follow his Beskad Elite, he noted their deadly movements before they vanished as well. It was fascinating to watch, as they were clearly hunters and deadly ones at that. He almost felt sorry for the pirate scum on the other side, almost. Where before he knew the outcome of the battle, if not the time, he now knew both. Together, they would no doubt slaughter all in their path in very, very short order. Especially considering Ingrid's other words. They had built this fortress without the intent to undergo a siege, it made him laugh before he responded.
"Then this shall be over far faster than anticipated. The fools shall be slaughtered to the last."

Elsewhere Fire Team Atiniir had entered the caves and advanced fearlessly, weapons raised and ready to fire. Behind they could hear and see the Hellhounds following. They advanced a good few dozen meters into the cave when the call came in that there may be other cave entrances. At that, the Beskad Elite chuckled amongst themselves, eager for a challenge. And in response, the leader returned the call of Mermaid Two.
"Then let them come and break themselves upon us."

His voice was still that dark rumble, though now filled with mirth and eagerness. Fate seemed to mock them though as nothing stood in their way. Instead, they simply marched through the caves and came upon a metal corridor and a door. Among Fire Team Atiniir, annoyance was present. Nothing has stood against them, and if the Empress was correct, then this fortress wouldn't provide much of a challenge. That wouldn't do, for they always sought a challenge.

So, with some minor grumbling, one of their number stepped forward and placed explosives upon the door. Then the team stepped back, gearing up to rush through. After a short countdown, the charge was blown and they rushed forward and through. Weapons raised and shields ready, Fire Team Atiniir hoped they would come across someone, anyone to kill on the other side.

While sitting behind the rock the Medic applied painkillers to ease Yans pain before Yan shook his head. <help the squad leader ill handle my injuries.> Yan said telepathically before taking out the IFAK Issued to ultranaughts. Yan removed two turniquets a roll of pressure bandages burn dressing and two doses of sterlization lequid. putting the turniquet just below each knee he took out his knife he would sterilize it before bitting down on the sheith as he began cutting away the metal and fused flesh of the front of his right leg. the pain was numbed but still present as he winced and bit down on the sheith a little harder. once the slagged metal was gone he applied the burn dressing and pressure bandages only to repeate the prossess on the other leg all the wall the remains of the squad regrouped and pushed up.

removing the turniquet he checked the rest of his armor noting the short range radio was distroyed in the bast and the back of the armor was pocked marked in shrapnel but no breeches. seeling up the rest of the IFAK he would use his Rifle to attempt to stand bracing himself against the rock. However in his current state he knew he wouldnt really be that usefull on the fron with the rest of the unit so he pulled out the scope and attached it to his beam rifle. looking to the medic he asked them to relay a message to the swoopbike pilots before he moved on ahead to assit in overwatch.

"thanks for the assist up there one of our units wanted me to pass on that hell help spot targets futher on ahead for your guys."

The next step was to get to the Security Center. Make it so that the enemy was unable to move things around based on their movements. Agent Nera'kas seemed like she met with some trouble, but was powering through. She was taking a different path than expected of Myri. Myri was tasked with the Security Center. Ivixa was going up to the top level, probably prepping to be a step ahead. Myri suspected that Ivixa would be in some position to aid in a dire need, but the next test of just Myri as an agent was to make the Security Center a non-threat on her own.

Myri exited the Maintenance Bay into the mess hall of the Mountain Base as planned. The young Thyrsian was torn as to whether she should be happy or disappointed that the mess was empty due to the activity outside the base. She moved silently through the mess taking an opportunity to grab a sharp knife that was left behind by someone who had not finished their meal when they were called upon for action. She cupped it in the palm of her hand and moved forward.

The HUD in her goggles had the layout of the base now and led her through the hallways to where she would be able to complete her next task. The hallways were also not very populated, but about ten meters from the target a bogey presented itself. Myri was quick into action, she flipped the knife in her hand and lunged at the opponent. Before the man knew what was happening the sharp end of the knife was stabbed into the center of the man’s throat. Luckily he was a human and Myri was sure that this action would kill him quickly and silently. Myri took a moment to quickly search the man and took an access card along with a C.U.V.

Quickly Myri closed the last ten meters to the door of the security center. She smiled and looked at the panel controlling the door. Myri swiped the access card and stepped inside the security center as soon as the door slid open. There were four inside the Security Center. Two humans were dispatched fairly quickly and easily, another was a Kaleesh he took a little more effort. He was eventually taken out leaving (by design) the member of the security team that was furthest away from the console that would alert the rest of the base. A very large Klatooinian who bellowed at Myri.

Myri smiled at the canine humanoid and motioned for him to bring it. The only blasters in the Security Center belonged to the deceased humans. The Klatooinian stepped forward with a blade in his hand. Myri thought of pulling the C.U.V., but decided she would just go unarmed instead of trying to figure out which tool to best use. She raised a hand to block his initial slicing attack with his blade. He gave out a grunt, surprised that the small woman was able to deflect so easily. She swept the leg out from under the big being and grabbed hold of his arm with both hands. Before the Klatooinian knew what was happening he was on his back with his own blade sticking out of his chest.

Smiling Myri looked over the control panel of the Security Center. She wasn’t sure how to best disable it. <”Security Center neutralized,”> she called out over the comm. She gave a hiss however as a sting rose simultaneously from the side of her hand and her shoulder. She raised her hand as saw blood dripping down. The Klatooinian must have put up more struggle than Myri had thought. <”I can take security out permanently, but it will be a primitive fix. I don’t have time to figure out a more technical solution.”>

"I have my own resources, in addition to imperial intelligence, Alor." she said mysteriously and a short but satisfied smile appeared on her lips under her helmet. "I have information about you too and I have to say they are impressive."

Well, yes; Ingrid was already using Nite to get information when she was just a director of Blackwatch. The combined use of Blackwatch and Nite made her very effective. As a matter of fact, the family / corporate intelligence organisation was larger and more influential. She finally tilted her head slightly as she looked up at the man, a sign of amusement; for her face was not seen, so her body language talked about it.

"Maybe one day you'll find out, Alor. But in the meantime, a woman needs to have secrets, without them we'll become boring." she said mysteriously.

Ingrid almost chuckled at the man's next words, but in the end, she answered more in her usual cold voice.

"Hopefully, they will be good for our soldiers as practice. But it is certain that this time only a minimal loss is to be expected. Or even less." she agreed.

Meanwhile, troops arrived at the door in the caves. Once the explosive was installed, it wasn't too hard to blow it up. After the explosion, the dust was there in the air, but no enemies had arrived yet. From here, a wider corridor led on, which soon led to a staircase. Here, scanners and sensors have already shown that there is movement on the higher levels, not just living things, but droids as well.

After they reached the top of the stairwell, there was no other exit but this; it was the ground floor, and from here they arrived at this level's barracks, which was a huge large "hall"; driving range or field. There were at least thirty armoured soldiers here, and twice as many droids. True, these were just B1s, so they weren't too challenging, but the three droids rolling in at the time could have been a bigger problem to the imperial and Mandalorian soldiers.

During this time, the agents were not idle either, the shields around the city / base collapsed. The road to the city was open for everyone.

"This was dull, the Overseer thought to herself as she waited, the ground battle below had been in full swing for a while and she had taken the opportunity to observe a of the battles on her holographic display. Military command was something that would be expected of her, so spending her waiting time watching Imperial maneuvers made sense as a learning opportunity.

Her leisure was interrupted by a notification from the Science Directorate legal teams, she scowled and then rolled her eyes. "Bad news Dr. Ssi'tash, looks like the legal team dont like the name, some judge has ruled that the current name misrepresents what the energy particles do. I will instuct them to move to your secondary choice for naming? Muonic Doppler Array has been approved in principle." The doctor simply shrugged his reptilian shoulders and continued a name was just a name after all.

Trinity was barely back in to her previous observationa when the observers shouted out. "Doctors! We have something, MEIPOC has analysed our data, we have a contact!"

"relay the information to the fleet, have them engage immediately, disable and capture as per mission parameters." she instructed and then watched out the viewport. A large Imperial ship swept silently past her position and opened fire on the coordinated with a barrage of ion cannons, it was a matter of seconds before the frigate sized vessel crackled back into the visible wavelengths, its power knocked out by the withering barrage, they stood no hope without their cloak.

Trinity walked over and gave firsy the Imperial salute and then a more friendly congratulatory gesture taken from the Ssi-ruu homeworld. "Congratulations on a successful test Dr. Ssi'tash, I would like to officially thank you for your work on behalf of the Empire." this was much more formality than Trinity, the excited scientist would like, maybe once they were off duty she would crack open an expensive bottle of brandy with the man and they could properly wet his baby's head.
